Huff!
Lia release a big lump of air from running 3 stories down to this room - the training room.
'Welp, we're back here again.' She said whilst panting and straightening her hair and clothes out neat.
She calmed her breathing and waited for a while before her flushing cheeks went back to normal. Now that she's back here again, she doesn't know what to do.
Before she can grab the handle of the door, her soles somehow pivoted her body away from the door so that her back was facing it.
'Hold up, why am I needed here?' Lia propped up her arms to her chin to think for a while. She thought about when she would barge in there, an ongoing session at that, wouldn't be quite the nice thing to do.
Even more so if she's asked why she was here, when she herself even does not the answer to. She pursed her lips thinking about the consequences of just being late itself.
'Anyway, back to the question why am I needed here? I mean... wait a minute...is this a part of a job of being an assistant?' As Lia was still not familiar to the ways of the entertainment field, she doesn't know the jobs and tasks of an assistant.
So she searched her memories, well not exactly HER'S but anyway she did. Just by remembering the mistreatment of 'Julia' in the past, it irked her to the core. According to her logic, even if it was not 'her' in the past that was maltreated, she still felt insulted now that she embodied the current Julia.
From the flashing images of memories, Lia was able to sum up that assistants basically stuck by their artist's side.
'So does that mean, I have to stick to Jason's side the whole day? But what about my job at the office?' By now, Lia was teared up between two sides. She looked back at the door and paused for a minute before finally deciding.
She pursed her lips, as she made a decision. She walked towards the door and grabbed the handle.
"Ah, whatever."
Click!
She braced herself when the door clicked shut behind her. Inside was a large space of training room. In front of her was a large mirror that filled in an entire wall. To say the least, it was a well-lighted, spacious room.
But what Lia hated the most was the mirror in front of her. One is the fact that the five people seated in the middle of the room can see her in the reflection of the mirror. Two she came faced to face with the instructor seated with her back behind the mirror.
A woman probably in her late 40's was seating in the middle with her curly brown hair tied up in a bun. It was not wavy but real curly, okay?
One look, you could tell that she's one of those crazy scary instructors that would always catch you in the hallways whenever you are skipping classes, and could actually kill you with their crazy upturned 'cat eye glasses'.
That would probably the most accurate way of describing the instructor right now.
Lia actually knew her via Annie. Though she didn't know how she would look like, she have heard of her credentials.
Sasha Denver - she graduated in a famous University for theatrical arts and for acting careers, Julliard, NYC. Although, not much is known from here, it is said that she already taught a lot of actors and actresses that are quite famous in the present timeline. Well, not really 'many', as according to gossips she heard in the hallways, she was quite picky as a teacher.
'If she was picky, why did she even became an instructor at a starting agency?' was exactly what Lia was thinking at that moment.
Now back to the present, the five people who was seated in a row at the center was now looking at her with different and various expressions.
'Let's see, the handsome man with properly combed brown hair, seated at the far left was looking in an uninteresting manner at her. The girl in a white dress, straight black hair was staring at her with curious looks together with the young boy seated beside her with wavy blonde locks, especially with eyes that looks so pure he screams 'fraud and deceit'. The man who has a mature vibe, who was obviously about to stand if I didn't barged in was now looking at me with a slight frown. Now...the timid boy beside him who was clearly Jason, looking so dull amongst these people was there looking at me with shock and relief.'
"You are late" The instructor, Sasha said with her apathetic voice. Lia would have been slightly relieved if the instructor scolded her a 'little' but now that she heard and can clearly see the blank look of the instructor staring at her. She was quite in a pinch.
Well, she gotta do what she can do.
Lia smiled with her courteous smile that was not a bit too much for certain occasions like this. It was just a smile enough, to hope for appeasing the atmosphere.
"I'm sorry I was late." Lia said what people should ought to say whenever they are late. However, she did not state why she was late. As Lia believed if she tried to reason out why she was late, it would make her look like trying to find excuses, which makes her look like a pathetic person.
The instructor stared at her a little longer, not much expression was shown in her eyes before she pointed to a chair readied beside Jason.
"Hurry up and sit down."
Lia smiled before graciously walking towards the chair and sitting beside the Jason whose eyes are glowing from happiness.
'Hoof, good thing she didn't ask why I was here.'
Jason nudged at her before smiling in a goofy manner, which was not quite a bad of a smile, if you know what I think. *wink
After Lia sat down, the man with a mature air stood up. Now here, is where Lia panicked.
Why you asked?
The man stood up and performed an astonishing piece, showing off his acting skills. From an audience's point of view. It was a good performance.
However to Lia, to summarize what she was feeling right now was....dread.
If she was seated next to them, in the same row.... 'Wouldn't that mean I would have to perform too?'
Before she knew it, the man already ended his performance and Jason was up next.
'No, no, haha I'm just an assistant, yeah an assistant.'
What happened next shocked her with multiple emotions.
