Excerpt :-
"Let me shield you from the rain, even if I couldn't, then let me soak in the rain with you",we're the words Brian told Lily on that night while shielding her from the rain.

 'I don't want anything more than that, more than you!' were the words that stuck in his throat but he couldn't voice them out. 

Lily looked up, and said, "You want to save me? From rain?" and laughed sarcastically "People who are already drenched, can't be saved. So don't waste your time".
And she left.

Brian slowly looked at the petite figure walking in the rain and sighed. He left his umbrella on a bench and walked behind her. He was going to stay true to his words, even if he couldn't save her, he'd drench with her.



Synopsis - 

Unlike others, her fight was not with others but with her own.
 Her own family whom she loved and cherished pushed her into the dark abyss with no return. 

Lily Jones, was the epitome of an elegant lady with a pure heart, but something changed her forever. Once a sweet little carring girl was now a stone cold hearted woman with now warmth in her heart. Or is it a facade just to shield herself from the vicious world. 

But even this cold hearted woman had a die hard admirer, Brian Green. The youngest and most respected cardiac surgeon in Country A. 
Will he be able to thaw the cold heart of lily? Or will he be left with a burn for the rest of his life?

Is a love story really possible amongst the two people with opposite personalities, a famous doctor and a fierce businesswoman?
What will the fate bring to the lives of one who doesn't believe in love or affection, who only believes that every thing had a price while the other who is the epitome of happiness, who's life depends on love.
 
Will both of them fall in love? 

Or 

Fate will play a cruel joke on both of them?

No usual plots but a simple story of two people who will go to lengths just to be together.

Her Bane or Destiny ?

Lily knew she couldn't say no to Grandpa Green this time, hence she agreed along with other three.


They chatted happily for a while and then as Grandpa Green has to leave early, he took his leave along with Brian. Brian hugged Noah and looked at the ladies, well his eyes were just on one person, and he said, "See you at lunch"!


But that certain someone was busy looking at her phone, as she got an important text, hence Amilia replied, "Sure".


Amelia  had already taken a mind note to set her friend up with Brian, only if this person will be able to bring smile to her lips, sigh!


As soon as Elder Green left, Lily looked at her friends and signaled them to leave for home. Both her friends knew she didn't want to be at the venue any moment longer. She waited this long only because of Elder Green. 


Lily nodded to him and held her mother's hands and walked ahead. 


Flora's hands were sweaty, and Lily knew exactly why she was feeling this way, hence, she held her hand to silently let her know that she is not alone. Flora looked at her daughter, 'When did my little angel became such a strong person' 


Lily led all three to the entrance where her and Noah's car was already parked. 


While she was walking outside, she saw a similar silhouette and for a moment her hand trembled and eyes stung. 


As soon as Noah and Amelia realised it, they both came infront of Lily instinctively, while walking. 


Lily knew, these two would do anything for her and she was most thankful to them, but she wasn't the little naive girl anymore. The emotions that flashed in her eyes were long gone and all that was left was ruthlessness in her eyes. 


Flora sensed her daughter's change and she instinctively tightened her hand around her and nodded at her. And may be that's what lily needed and she increased her pace along with her mother and came infront of Noah. 


At the other end of the hallway, Adam was leaning on the pillar while taking a call. He was a handsome man and quite a few girls who attended the function wanted to talk to him. Hence, the hallway had quite a number of people. 


But as soon as they saw Lily walking they instinctively made way for her. It was her aura that made it difficult to look at her eyes as it felt she could see their souls. 


As soon as he heard the sound of heels coming closer, he turned and he was shocked to see Lily walking towards him. 


He was aware that some girls were hovering around him and he was quite irritated and as he felt that someone is coming towards him, he moved with a stern expression but as soon as his eyes landed on Lily he couldn't stop to conceal his shock, was it just shock or fear, even he didn't knew and he took two steps back. 


But he was quick even to mask his expressions. Even though his palms were sweating but he still had a small smile on his lips as he thought lily herself was walking towards him. He felt a little happy and smug in his heart. 


But as he was expecting her to come to him she walked past him and that's when he heard a roaring sound. A black Bugatti La Voiture Noire pulled in front of the entrance and valet respectfully bowed infront of Lily. 


She opened the shot gun door and led her mother inside and walked around the car towards the driver's seat. She pulled open the door and as she was going to sit, she looked at Adam and smirked. 


Her eyes had hostility and her lips turned into a mocking smile, and then she got inside the car. None of the people saw her expressions, as they were busy admiring the black beast handled by a petite beautiful woman. 


This was the first time lily met Adam's eyes and all he saw in them was hostility and mockery. She was looking down on him! Damn! 


His hands balled into fists, and a devilish glint passed through his eyes.
