Excerpt :-
"Let me shield you from the rain, even if I couldn't, then let me soak in the rain with you",we're the words Brian told Lily on that night while shielding her from the rain.

 'I don't want anything more than that, more than you!' were the words that stuck in his throat but he couldn't voice them out. 

Lily looked up, and said, "You want to save me? From rain?" and laughed sarcastically "People who are already drenched, can't be saved. So don't waste your time".
And she left.

Brian slowly looked at the petite figure walking in the rain and sighed. He left his umbrella on a bench and walked behind her. He was going to stay true to his words, even if he couldn't save her, he'd drench with her.



Synopsis - 

Unlike others, her fight was not with others but with her own.
 Her own family whom she loved and cherished pushed her into the dark abyss with no return. 

Lily Jones, was the epitome of an elegant lady with a pure heart, but something changed her forever. Once a sweet little carring girl was now a stone cold hearted woman with now warmth in her heart. Or is it a facade just to shield herself from the vicious world. 

But even this cold hearted woman had a die hard admirer, Brian Green. The youngest and most respected cardiac surgeon in Country A. 
Will he be able to thaw the cold heart of lily? Or will he be left with a burn for the rest of his life?

Is a love story really possible amongst the two people with opposite personalities, a famous doctor and a fierce businesswoman?
What will the fate bring to the lives of one who doesn't believe in love or affection, who only believes that every thing had a price while the other who is the epitome of happiness, who's life depends on love.
 
Will both of them fall in love? 

Or 

Fate will play a cruel joke on both of them?

No usual plots but a simple story of two people who will go to lengths just to be together.

Her Bane or Destiny ?

As soon as Amelia heard her name, she greeted grandpa and grandma, and as soon as Athena saw Amelia, she was so happy that she almost forgot  the argument and said, "Oh my god, Is she the invincible lawyer the Amelia Smith?"


And when Alexander nodded, she hugged Amelia excitedly and said, "I am a really big fan of yours, I have been following all your cases and I love how you handle those darling! You are truly a great person and now my grand daughter too"


As Athena said this, her eyes seemed so lively that Alexander and lily both were so happy.


"Grandma, I'm so glad to hear that. But please don't embarrass me, I am not even close to your nail when it comes to being a lawyer. You have always been my role model and I am so happy to finally meet you!" Amelia said all that in one breath.


Athena wasn't expecting this but it made her heart warm to see Amelia was just like Lily, a hard shell, but soft core.


While they both busied themselves with their common topic, lily looked at grandpa and said, " All clear now. You are safe!" and giggled .


"I know right!" Alexander said that and both did a high five and laughed..


This scenes was captured by a person standing at the staircase and something bloomed in his heart. A warm feeling that emerged from that giggling sound, that made the place a bit more livelier.


Brian has been standing on that staircase since lily entered, but he couldn't move as soon as he saw her with his grandmother.


She seemed different, the one at the award ceremony was a cold, aloof, cunning businesswoman, while the one right infront of him was just a girl giggling and enjoying with her elders!


Actually those were his grandparents, but they were actually behaving like hers, as they didn't even notice him standing there.... Not that he was complaining though!


He loved looking at her, that he couldn't do while being infront of her... He don't know what's happening to him, he has never felt like that for anyone, why her?


Why does she pulls him too much towards her?


Why does he wanna know the story behind those eyes?


Why does he want to see her happy eyes like she has now, but only because of him?


"How long are you planning to look at her? For eternity?"


As soon as these words left his mouth, he stood agape and turned to look at the intruder who messed up his peaceful time.


And what greeted his sight was a grinning Noah, who said, " I see, somebody wants to see somebody for eternity"


As soon as those words came out of his mouth, he ran, to save his life, as Brian ran after him to stop him from spewing any more nonsense infront of Lily.


Now, even he wasn't sure of what he was feeling and then those words came out of his mouth. He was way too confused and as the cherry on the top, Noah wasn't least bit helping.


And if he knows his friend even a tad bit, he knows that Noah won't let it go and will blurt it out no matter what! So before he does any stupidity, he needed to stop him, so he ran after him with all his might.


Everybody was caught up in surprise as soon as they saw the two grown up man babies running around the entire place and screaming out their lungs. 


Lily never thought she would be able to witness such a scene. She wasn't surprised about Noah, as he was this playful but Brian. Although she met him once, she knew he is a man of few words and never in her wildest dreams had she thought him to be this playful. 


A wealthy CEO and a Cardiologist were running around like kindergarten kids but that's what brought a smile to her face unknowingly. 


She didn't realise but four pair of eyes were looking at her contentedly. 


While running, Brian saw it and his heart skipped a beat! Never in his wildest dreams had he thought that his wish would be fulfilled so soon.
