The black mass of Gas coagulated into a liquid form and zapped hard on Bilal's chest piercing it like an arrow and moving upwards towards his brain.
His already injured body started trembling badly, the feeling as if his whole body was filling up from the inside out with a dense mercuric fluid which was bloating his blood vessels. Bulging the enlarged blood vessels all over his body. Those bulged arteries generated enormous pressure on both his arms threatening to burst it open.
'pain…so much pain..' that's the only signal his brain was receiving from the body, creating confusing tingling sensations time and time again.
[Parasitic invasion detected, activating hyperactive antibody production]
[Releasing system limiters]
Quite surprisingly the system's method didn't appear to be working, instead, it seemed to be the opposite the pain was only getting stronger.
[Antibodies ineffective, finding other solutions…]
[No...immediate solution found]
[searching…searching…sear....]
Painstakingly he gritted his teeth and tried resisting the pain as much as he can, showing enormous trust in the system's capabilities if it wasn't for the Swordsman module he would've been long dead eaten by those wolves even if he had a gun with him.
[Antibodies reacting with unknown energy]
[Antibodies mutating….]
[Caution!!! Terminate Antibodies Y/N?]
Coughing a mouthful of black tar-like blood, he put a hand on his left chest and replied to System in his mind
"..No just let it be…."
It was already tiring and painful for him to even be conscious, and somehow an intuition came to his mind, it was just a random baseless last try thought.
'Could the mutated Antibodies be able to help fight this thing?'
Taking the advice of his intuition may perhaps be the best decision in his life, and he was proven right the very next moment afterward.
[Mutated Antibodies effective, targeting parasite]
Efficaciously like an effective medicine it started to show its effect immediately, the pressure on his chest and left arm started to lessen and gradually his breathing rhythm returned to normal as well. But the black mass wasn't that kind-hearted to let go of its control and immediately retaliated against the antibodies in a very swift manner, starting the tug of war between the system controlled antibodies and the black mass for supremacy.
Neither of the party was gaining control over its competitor, clutching his stomach Bilal looked around with an anxious look on his face, his gaze was well occupied observing an ongoing mystical scene unfolding before him anxiously, the thick book which was gripped tightly by the skeleton was shining brightly, illuminating the dark ominous surroundings with it's overflowing rays of golden particles.
Without even a bit of a delay, it flew towards him at extreme speed and halted an inch away from his face, the light emitted by the book was so intense that he couldn't even open his eyes properly. The illumination encompassed his entirety of the field of vision, all he could do now was feel and perceive, and all he could perceive was warmth, a kind, and pure warmth which reduced his worries to the point of nonexistent inducing his mind into a deep hallucination like state.
He had already forgotten about the black mass and the pain and was almost unaware of the changes happening within his own body, his soul consciousness was staring at the illumination trying to find the book behind that thick layer of white light and golden particles.
Some black particles were corrupting and destroying his tissues while the white and gold particles were fixing those tissues by fully occupying the sites and getting absorbed by it. A large number of such scenarios were happening throughout his whole body.
And an epic battle was ceaselessly being held in his chest region just below the brain stem, it was a total nightmare, black particles were corrupting the gold and white particles of the book and vice versa was also true as they too were eradicating the black particles. Meanwhile, the red-black mutated antibodies were attacking and binding almost anything they could get their hands on rather it is gold, white or black.
[Antibodies mutating… Antibodies mutating…]
Albeit being largely disadvantaged in terms of absolute power they still held all the three particles group at bay with their awesome regeneration rate. Some antibodies absorbed the floating residual white, black and gold particles and were mutating to that corresponding color.

[Nullifying energy waves]
"Ahhh ahh"
Snapping out of that hypnotic state, Bilal fell backward to the ground in the current haze and a tumbling body.
Not giving any chance for him to even react, the glowing book started shining more ardently and began turning its pages, the brightness was increasing correspondingly to the number of pages turned, by the time it arrived near the last pages it wasn't in the shape of a book anymore, instead it got transfigured into a blob of white-gold resembling the black mass from before.
The blob released hundreds of white light rays and shot them into Bilal's chest stunning him yet again into the hypnotic state. This time though the Book's luck wasn't that great.
[Nullifying energy waves]
The white light rays fell onto the ground like shredded pieces of threads getting scattered into thin fibers of white and gold particles. The luminous intensity of the blob got somewhat reduced by that failed move, it didn't stop its attempts to infiltrate into his body.

Taking full advantage of the fight between the book and the system, the black particles broke free from the mutated antibodies' bindings and concentrated all its remnant on his left hand, they embedded and carved into a strange one-winged owl sigil from the inside out. It rapidly propagated itself onto the neighboring cells and formed a thick layer of black ink like surface.
Some of the system antibodies immediately tried scraping off that tattoo but were unable to do it, due to the thick protective layer. Forceful approaches couldn't be taken due to the presence of vital blood vessels in the area.
While the remaining antibodies were unavailable fighting off the continuous upflow of white-gold particles.
By now Bilal was fully conscious, his body was awfully hurt from the continuous regeneration of the antibodies, he transformed from a muscular stud to a sickly wimp in just a few minutes, all he could do now was to believe in the System to protect him. Since he could not even move a finger due to severe exhaustion, he could definitely feel his consciousness drifting off and surely within a minute of resistance, he fell on the stone surface hard and went unconscious.
[Host went unconscious, danger level reached]
[Required resources unavailable, Antibody generation stopped]
[Antibody generation stopped]
The leftover antibodies fought for a few more moments before being overwhelmed by the upflow of the never-ending white and gold particles. The book seemingly self-aware of the situation increased the flow of particles and flew inside Bilal's body from within that stream itself.
[Danger levels exceeded!!!!! Activating special provisions]
[Searching for available modules…...no suitable modules found...]
[Unable to seize motor controls…..]
[Probability of death…...97%]
[System on standby…]
With System out of the way, the white-gold particles of the book traveled all the way through his body, searching for the black particles of the jar and ended up arriving at his left hand.
Unable to successfully remove the tattoo they encircled the one-winged owl tattoo with a lengthy white snake tattoo of their own by the same method.
---------------------------------------
In the middle of the cold and dark night, five figures fully draped in brown fur clothes could be glimpsed running in a lush forest clearly unafraid of neither the forest not the night time when danger lurks at every nook and corner.
Out of the five, one of them was wearing a bi-horned helmet and held an ardently flaming torch in his hands, clearly, he was one with the authority and power as he was leading the other four. He was somewhat muscular and had a longsword fastened to his waist by a strap.
Suddenly all of them stopped, all of them evidently informed of something started searching the nearby bushes and their search resulted in some corpses of badly decimated wolves certainly killed by a sharp object.
One of the men who was standing a bit behind came closer to inspect the carcass, taking his time and scrutinizing it, he came closer to the man with the bi-horn helmet clearly anxious and afraid.
"Chieftain, can we just not go there? It's just a small light elemental fluctuation, you know how the priest of White goddess Lura decimated the entire Red cliff village last year right?"
The man in horns aka the chieftain replied in a sad tone "No, Yothen sadly we have to go there, we live in their domain so we have to fulfill their demands, our tribe won't be able to survive a single year in the wilderness"
"Sigh, how great would it be if our tribe had ever produced an origin level expert, we would've been living safely behind the city walls of the empire"
