'Thud'

"Your dinner's ready, open the door…"

[Module's end: - 2:00:45 s]

[Estimated here exceeded by 2 hours, waking up Host]

Abruptly Bilal opened his eyes wide and he reacted suddenly to that voice by opening the door, from the creaking door came a little boy around the age of 12-14, he wore plain greased clothes while he appeared haggard and malnourished, and with his frail hands, he withheld a wooden tray incorporating a plate half-filled with some sort of vegetable and a bun.

'Guess this is my dinner then' Bilal reckoned.

Gazing at the Cloaked Bilal, the little boy immediately put the plate down and anxiously tried running back, but his retreat was stopped by Bilal.

"What's your name, Little guy?" asked Bilal.

Warily, the boy turned around and spoke with a Mild stammer "My…name's Trake, I'm just a lowly slave from a nameless tribe"

'Nameless tribe? What's this? That guy should've passed me more commonly used terms, even holding a conversation with a Kid is being difficult' Bilal sighed 'And, why is this Kid appears to be so frightened of me?'

That Intense ball of light enlightened the information of Path of Magic, specifically about being a Light Mage and didn't have the knowledge of common terms, local geography, etc. He had to acquire them himself and the little kid presented himself at the right opportunity.

Putting the imaginary grumbling aside, he asked the Boy directly.

"Why are you afraid of me??" Bilal asked sternly.

"I'm just a lowly slave…the esteemed sir is from a High tribe, please don't kill me" Trake pleaded.

With the words 'High Tribe' Bilal abruptly glanced at his Hide Clothes that he wore under the leather armor. The muscular said the same thing as he too gazed at his Hide Clothes.

It seemed logical too since it's quality really is extraordinary.

'Maybe these clothes represent High status here while Status and strength really matters in this world the most'

"Worry not kid, I won't kill you, say who told you that I may kill you?" Bilal asked.

"M.my mom told me that people from High Tribe would kill anyone from a Nameless Tribe for any reason they deem fit.." Trake answered meekly.

Reacting to him, Bilal suddenly stretched his arm towards that bun and broke it into two halves, having the first half he moved the second towards Trake.

'Ahh'

Sensing the sudden movements, he little boy Trake shrieked but calmed down as he looked at the half-bun carefully.

"Don't shriek like a girl, eat it you look hungry?" Bilal

said.

"Thanks…." Trake hurriedly snatched it from the plate and merrily gobbled it down piece by piece.

'He really was hungry…' Bilal became somewhat relieved and asked.

"Where's your Mom, Trake?" he asked curiously.

Having heard the question, the little kid Trake abruptly started crying and in a broken tone he said "She was killed…when trying to save me…everyone was killed…none were spared…."

Hearing this Bilal couldn't help but relate with that little kid, the memories of old kept resurfacing, but he knew this wasn't the time to be reminiscing those memories but the time to gather information.

Since he knew, Library and books were out of option because only the spoken Language was transmitted to him not the written part of it. That legacy too was outright out of option since Valzer prioritized teaching him History. And no one would be willing to help him out without being suspicious.

In the end, only extracting information from this Kid appeared the only viable option for now.

"Kid, how did you arrive here escaping from the attack?" he asked curiously.

"Our tribe was too far from the Green Wind High Tribe, but due to us from being a Nameless Tribe we had no Attainers of our own, every family escaped on their own accord, and within no time the soldiers from the Empire caught upto us, one of them targeted me but mom intervened and they killed her…suddenly a heavenly beam of light streaked from above and disintegrated everyone allowing me to escape" Trake said as he tried his best holding his tears "It must be the legatee of the Hero of Light, I wish for him to live a long life and destroy the Empire who wishes to capture him"

Although the answer was grief-stricken it wasn't a useless one, it'd also let him confirm three things, A Nameless Tribe can't / don't have Attainers, The man from the sky and those Folks in black were soldiers of 'The Empire', And the motive behind their attack was to capture 'The legatee of Hero of Light' which was aka Bilal.

'This Kid's useful and worth taking care of' He pondered.

"Trake who takes care of you now? And what's your role here?"

"Ah, I am being trained here as a Slave and would be sold in one of the City-state, I've heard Olga Federation treats their slaves well"

'Huh? A slave? These bastards, what would've happened if I had chosen the Worker token? It seems Slavery is quite prevalent in this world and this world is still in the Middle Ages'

Bilal drew his arm towards Trake's shoulders and asked: "My name's Bilal, Trake, I don't have anyone in this world, would you be my Little brother?"

Flabbergasted by the question, the kid gathered his voice and said "But...It would take 20 coppers to redeem me…"

"Don't worry I have 20 coppers, let's go redeem you"

Along the way from the murdered villages he remembered plundering hundreds or so round copper coins and a few square-shaped silver coins, as expected they turned out to be the currency used in this World, although he didn't know their value, 20 coppers wouldn't be much he thought and stood up.

As he went came out with Trake and observing the dusk sky, Bilal became aware of the time elapsed in the module transfer. When he arrived here it was around Mid-noon and now it's evening.

He took long strides and with Trake he quickly reached that Burly man yet again. Who was the current owner of every 'Worker'?

"You are for the Soldier's recruitment, right?" The burly man recognized as soon as they came close.

"Yes, I am for the Soldier's recruitment," Bilal said while pointing at Trake "I am here to redeem him"

"Did he tell you it's 20 coppers? Young Workers costs more than Female and Old workers, do you still want to buy him?" The Burly man asked while he radiated his no-nonsense aura.

"Yeah" Bilal agreed with a nod and gave that man 20 coppers which he already had pre-arranged.

With that being done he looked at Trake and asked: "I've just arrived here, Trake can you give me a tour of this camp?"

"Yes, Bi..big brother…" Trake said and took Bilal with him.

Slowly he took Bilal to the Market aka the Training Area, where he saw people getting trained to serve food, lift objects and learn to bargain. There wasn't much to see since he already had explored it once.

Then they went beyond the row of houses and arrived directly to some wooden taverns which were heavily guarded by soldiers draped in Blue, which obviously shocked him since he saw no guards at the entrance besides the Old man and that Burly guy.

But here they gathered in huge proportions, completely surrounding that Tavern in total there would at minimum be more than 20. They stood like wooden pillars with immense concentration.

'Whom are they guarding?' Bilal wondered and suddenly he felt a light tap on his shoulders, and as he turned around he saw the suspicious gaze of that Burly man.

"What are you spying here?" The Burly guy asked with a heavy tone.

"No..no..we aren't spying anything, we're just curious" Bilal answered.

"You better don't, you've heard of Mages right? The Attainers of Magic path? Inside that cottage rests a Mage of Mortal Initiate. This Four corner protection barrier is operated by him and if he was to sense your ill thoughts he won't hesitate to hurl a fireball towards you" The Burly man pointed at one of the row house "I'm off duty now, someone would take my shift, would you like to company me?"

"Trake waits for me at the Room, I'll come back soon," Bilal said.

"Yes, Big brother," Trake said and went off.

'Such a nice and naive kid he is' Bilal thought and accompanied the Burly man.

"Bilal, my name is Dayes and I'm a Foot Soldier of the 4th Federation Squadron, do you know not a single one would be selected in tommorow's Recruitment" He said while taking

"What?! How can it be?Why?" Bilal asked immediately.

"Yes, I'm telling you this since you seem kind and pure enough to me, tomorrow's test is designed to fish the recruits with affinity to Light. The Federation is also searching for 'The Legatee of Hero' and the option possible for them is to play this recruitment trick" The Burly man told Bilal as they walked to an empty ground just adjacent camp's market.
