2 Weeks Later...
It had been 2 weeks since the torture began. Currently, Kai was laying in the corner of the room, it was the middle of the night.
The demon was sleeping beside him, it's body twisted in an unnatural way as it lay with it's mouth open, revealing its awful teeth.
Kai was awake, somehow after the torture his body began to get use to it. The demon noticed this and began to be more forceful when he toyed with Kai.
Right now, his body was covered in scars and bloody scratches. For some reason after the demon slept the healing stopped, which proved Kai's theory.
He simply layed there, thinking about possible ways to escape this place. The demon hadn't eaten or done anything that would kill him yet, so he was determined to escape as soon as possible.
The only problem, there was no escape. His body wasn't capable of moving at all when the demon was awake or slept. Kai simply observed the pattern of the demons life, pushing through the torture.
The demon had a routine, Wake up at 3:00AM in the morning and watch Kai as he slept. Then, after he had awoken, the demon would begin to scratch and tear open Kai's skin, enjoying the screams he made.
Then, the demon would drag him down to the lake, where he would repeatedly drown Kai over and over after he regained consciousness. The demon would then go back to the cave and repeat this process, until it got bored.
Only 5 days later would he get food, which was either the rotten flesh of a dead corpse of an animal or a disgusting insect.
Either way, it was absolutely disgusting. But Kai ate, because if he didn't, he could eventually starve. The demon would force feed him if it needed to.
The demon would later get tired of playing with Kai, then it would lay down beside him, chewing on him numb hand or arm.
It would do this for hours until it fell asleep, leaving the worn out and empty soul of Kai laying there, motionless.
His body would go numb every time, there was truly no escape from this hell. But this question always loomed in his mind,
"Why hasn't the demon eaten or killed him already?"
This question never faded from his mind, what was the point. He had just assumed it was for fun at the beginning, which he still believes to be so. But still, why?
Why wouldn't the demon eat his snack after 3 weeks? Why?
Kai had felt the demon was getting more and more bored over time. The thought of the demon eating him was both horrifying and great.
He would be free from the torture, but at the cost of a painful and agonizing death. The idea of death...
He felt weak, hopeless once again. Looking around, Kai's eyes were perfectly adjusted to the darkness, he could even see perfectly fine in the pitch-black.
Along with this, his senses had become astronomical. He could hear better than ever before, and smell better than ever before.
His sight had been enhanced too, even though he mostly saw darkness through all those weeks. Kai could even see the demon in the darkness now, he could sense him through the darkness, like his presence had become more clear.
He passed out.
The Next Morning, 5:00 AM...
The demon illuminated over Kai, staring as usual. Kai awoke from his slumber, and stared back at the demon, his face showing no fear. The demon noticed his fearlessness and seemed angry, grabbing him with much more force than usual.
Crash! Crash! Pop!
The demon began slamming him into the cave walls, shaking the entire cave. Blood splattered over the walls like paint. As the demon threw Kai his entire back popped out of place, his muscles falling apart.
Kai felt the his popped back slowly come back together, only to reset after every slam, causing even more pain. He screamed.
To the demon, it probably thought of this as punishment for not being scared of it, this thought pissed it off even more and the demon began slamming harder, Kai's bones now cracked and broke.
AHHHHHHHHHH!
He pain from his bones breaking dazed him, he felt light-headed. He was about to pass out...
...
8:00AM...
Kai woke up to tremendous pain. He tried to move, but as usual his body was frozen.
FUCK!
He slowly opened his eyes, trying to locate what was causing him this tremendous pain. He knew it must be the demon, but had no idea what it was doing to him to cause such pain.
...
Pure shock filled his brain, body, and most of all,
Horror.
As he opened his eyes Kai saw the demon feasting on his now cut open stomach. It was eating and chewing on his ribs, like some chicken leg, it bit off the flesh from his rib and threw it to the side.
Completely speechless Kai closed his eyes, his entire right-side was torn open, being feasted upon. This is it, the demon had finally come decided to kill and eat him.
Kai felt relieved...
He was free from this torture, he could finally die after all this suffering. Kai smiled, and opened his eyes. The demon saw that smile,
Then Smiled Back.
It stopped eating, and jumped on Kai's motionless body, on all fours. It long nails scratching the cave floor and making a piercing sound filled his ears. The demon smile was first whicked and demonic, but slowly changed to a wild, and cracked smile.
It stood up on 2 legs, almost 8 feet tall. It's skinny body sucked in as it stood there, its smiling face reflecting off the water droplets falling from the cave ceiling.
It's long arms reached down to it's knee's, and it's nails reaching down to it's twisted heel. It stood there for a moment, simply staring at Kai with a wild smile and big eyes. It's one eye popped out of socket again, but still moved and stared at him.
It began to kneel down, it's bones cracking like a skeleton. It grabbed Kai's arm and held him in the air, looking at him like a play thing.
His cut open stomachs inside began to fall on the cave floor, making a disgusting noise as it hit the cave floor.
It dropped Kai, only to grab him again and drag him out of the cave, standing. This was the first time he had ever seen the demon stand on 2 legs, it truly scared him.
They got to the end of the cave, the fresh air from outside flowing onto Kai's body like a soft blanket. The beautiful tree leaves glistened a bright green as they walked outside. Now surrounding the entrance of the cave was several homes of exotic creatures living around it. The vegetation slowly taking over the cave, overrunning it.
Soon, vines would block the entrance.
Kai simply stared at the beautiful view, as the demon simply walked to the river close by. It looked ferocious, as it walking in a serious manner. It seemed to be mad at something,
Kai had noticed that sometimes in the middle of the night, the demon would leave the cave and head off somewhere, leaving him on the floor.
He simply had no idea why the demon was mad, other than it being angry at Kai for not being scared, he had no idea.
They walked further and further to the left of the cave, the long, beautiful colored grass scratching Kai's legs and back as the demon walked.
It's arms were so long that Kai's entire body was practically on the forest floor, being dragged across all the rocks and insects.
Kai saw several weird looking animals see the demon and run away, supposedly scared.
The River... 5:00PM
They had reached the river, it had beautiful different sized rocks around it. It had a mini waterfall falling down the middle, and lily pads floated above the river.
Once the demon and Kai arrived there all the animals that were previously drinking scattered, scrambling over each other to leave as quickly as possible.
The Demons must rule over this forest, or quite possibly this demon in specific.
The demon was still holding onto his arm, squeezing it as tightly as possible, making it bleed. It then dropped Kai's arm, and Kai fell, his body failing to operate again.
The demon then got on all fours and crawled over to Kai's legs. It made crackling noises every crawl it did, like a little spider running.
It then grabbed his legs and began to bite them, tearing the skin off completely. Kai screamed in pain, but the demon continued, it's wild smile appeared on it's face. It then went to the other leg and peeled off the skin until all you could see was bone.
The demon stopped, and stood back up on 2 legs, it's bone creaking and back crackling as it straightened up it's dark body.
Kai simply lay there, paralyzed as he'd always been since the beginning of this torture. The demon didn't do anything but stand there, not even drowning Kai or anything, just standing there.
Waiting for something...
8:00PM (3 Hours Later)
Still waiting, the demon simply stood there, it's wild smile had turned ferocious forever ago. Kai was completely confused, all this time it could have gone back to the cave and tortured him, but instead it stood, waiting.
Kai was although in pain, curious as to why the demon was acting so strangely. But he did know one thing, the demon was waiting for something.
His almost bitten off legs never healed whatsoever over the course of 3 hours, and Kai was wondering why. The demon probably stopped the healing process for something, he just simply didn't know what.
That's until it happened.
At last, after 3 and a half hours another demonic figure appeared through the pitch black, it's razor sharp nails glowing in the moonlight.
This other demon was very muscular and quite big, bigger than Kai's demon. Kai's demon looked at the Muscular Demon and it's ferocious face suddenly turned to scared shitless.
It quickly began to start grabbing Kai, dragging him. But the Muscular Demon's face was even more ferocious and terrifying. It was wearing a black cloak that covered it's entire body, including the head.
It's only revealing parts were it's hands, feet, and head, which was slightly covered by a torn up hood. The Muscular Demon's eyes glew a dark red, seemingly piercing the moons gaze has it stared through Kai's Smaller Demon.
The Cloaked Demon began to get on all fours, as it was previously standing. That's when the Smaller Demon looked back, horrified. It had realized there was no escape, it's made it's choice.
The Cloaked Demon looked at Kai hungrily, probably wanting him to eat.
It was a fight over Kai...
The Smaller Demon got on all fours, it's previously terrified face turned to worry, then angry, then regret. The Cloaked Demon simply smiled, it's entire head cracking at the length of it's smile.
The Cloaked Demon was across the river, opposite of Kai and his demon. Kai suddenly felt his arms moving without him even controlling it. He began to crawl and his legs started to heal once again.
The demon didn't want to hand over Kai, so it planned on hiding him until the fight was over.
Kai crawled as his entire body ached, until finally he reached a bush with a enormous Ancient Tree behind it. The cloaked demon completely focused on the smaller demon, seemingly waiting for the Smaller Demon to begin the match.
The Match Of Death.
Both demons got on all fours, opposite of each other over the river. Behind the Cloaked demon was a tall hill, and behind the Smaller Demon was the enormous ancient tree where Kai hid in a bush.
The Cloaked Demon pulled back it's arms, forcing it's nails into the ground, and scratching through the dirt like an animal. The Smaller Demon did the same, slightly hesitating.
They both opened their mouth's and roared at each other, a deafening roar that would only happen in someones nightmares.
ROAR!
Both of the demon's jumped back, the Cloaked Demon running up the hill on all fours, then jumping from tree to tree, gaining momentum. The Smaller Demon jumped back and ran up the tree, it's long nails the only thing holding it up as it ran.
The Smaller Demon then jumped from tree to tree like a bullet, also gaining momentum like the Cloaked Demon. Then, on the same looking tree on the opposite of the river both of the demons ran up to the outward branch facing the river.
Both of them jumped through the air, roaring.
ROAR!
They both soared through the air at each other, like two bullets about to collide together. The air pressure was so strong that the Demon's cloak flew backwards, revealing it's battle scared stomach.
It had a full 8 pack filled with deep and long scratches and bite marks on it. It's entire stomach was pure scars, only the 8 pack visible under all of the scars.
Finally, they collided. The moonlight glistened the demons pitch black body's as they both had their fist's out forward, about to punch each other. They were right in the middle of the river, mid-air clashing.
Suddenly, a bright purple light illuminated from both of their fists.
The Smaller demon looked both angry and full of determination, while the Cloaked Demon simply smiled a cocky smile.
They both pulled back their blood soaked fists, their entire bodies moving for this one punch.
The Clash Between Two Demons Has Begun...
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!
They're fists collided, the air pressure around them visible. The blood that previously soaked there hands flew off from the pressure of the punch. Both demon's looked at each other, as they're bodies stood still over the river, the waterfall glistening under the beautiful moonlight beside them.
The water under them exploded and soared through the air, soaking them as the shock waves made the water fly to the sides of the demons and eventually fall into the river again, this all happened in a matter of seconds.
The entire forest lit up, as the animals ran and scattered, feeling the shock wave that illuminated from the clash.
The Smaller Demons fist and the Cloaked Demon's fist were together, still glowing a bright purple peacefully. That was until the Smaller Demon's fist twisted and broke, the Cloaked Demon simply looked in both pride and pleasure as the air pressure from the punch knocked them both back, as they soared through the air the Smaller Demon fell back, hitting the enormous ancient tree.
The Smaller Demon left a huge crater into the tree, supposedly knocked back so hard from the Cloaked Demons punch that it made a crater into the tree, which would permanently stay on that ancient tree for the rest of it's life.
On the other hand, the Cloaked Demon soared backwards through the air, doing a back-flip and landing on a tree branch in a superior manner.
The Smaller Demon jumped from it's crater and fell on the river side, falling over in pain. It grabbed it's torn and twisted fist and cried out in a screech.
SSCSSSCREECH!
The Cloaked Demon looked over the river and saw the weakened Smaller Demon and smiled. The Cloaked Demon began jumping tree to tree, gaining momentum again.
After 30 seconds or so the Cloaked Demon stopped jumping from branch and tree to tree and jumped through the air, flying.
It's cloak flew back once again, revealing it's battle scars as it jumped over the river, landing perfectly beside the Smaller Demon aching in pain.
The Smaller Demon immediately stood up, it's hand had been twisted completely backwards and all the fingers and nails were ripped apart. The bright purple had faded into nothingness.
The Smaller Demon stood, staring at the Cloaked Demon in both anger and regret. The Smaller Demon should have never accepted this clash, it was going to die.
The Cloaked Demon lifted it's cloak and pulled out a small dagger, it's handle was brown and silver, looking brand new. But it's blade was pitch black, exactly like it's skin. But there was a purple line going down the middle, looking like the same color as Kai's veins. A dark, matter-like purple color that seemed to be moving.
The Smaller Demon immediately panicked and began backing away, after seeing that dagger it was petrified. Kai simply stared at the clash, as he couldn't move a muscle.
Both of the demons stood straight up, now on 2 legs. The Cloaked Demon looking very happy with itself, It had no idea where Kai went, but just assumed he was nearby. It's fist still shining a bright purple, a fist that will kill anything in it's path.
The Small Demon on the other hand was terrified and began to run backwards, the opposite direction of the Cloaked Demon,
The Cloaked Demon looked pissed. Another demon dare run from a challenge it began? He dare run from the now ancient rule of clashing?
Disgraceful.
The Cloaked Demon looked in disgust and began following the now injured Smaller Demon. The Smaller Demons arm was now completely useless, as the shock and pain from his hand numbed it's entire arm.
The Cloaked Demon lifted it's blade and placed it in it's mouth, extending it's long arms towards the slow-running Smaller Demon.
It grabbed the back legs of the Smaller Demon and stopped it completely, making it immobile. The Smaller Demon stared in horror as the Cloaked Demon got on top of it and got the blade in it's mouth and cut off the Smaller Demon's legs off.
Slice!
Purple blood splattered over the sand, and into the river.
SCREEEEEECHHHHH!
The Smaller Demon screamed, it started a fight it could not win, and this is the result of such a careless mistake.
The Cloaked Demon then grabbed it's blade from it's mouth, now able to not worry about the Smaller Demon running. It began slowly cutting open every part of thew Smaller Demon's body, enjoying its screams of agony, just as the Smaller Demon did to Kai.
Finally, the Smaller Demon's entire stomach and long lower and upper chest was completely cut open, the Cloaked Demon began to feast on him.
The Smaller Demon was still alive, that was, until it reached it's head. The Cloaked Demon continued eating the Smaller Demon until there was nothing but bones, extremely skinny bones that didn't even look capable of holding up such a long and thin body.
The Cloaked Demon then got to the head, staring it's horrible eyes at the Smaller Demon. It began to gouge out the eyes of the Smaller Demon and eat them, like giant gumballs, it chewed in satisfaction.
Then, the Cloaked Demon cut open the head, revealing a very large and bright dark purple crystal. The Cloaked Demon pulled out the crystal and swallowed it whole, the crystal visible through the demons throat as it swallowed. The Cloaked Demon's throat was shining a dark purple, like the crystal.
Suddenly, Kai realized once the Cloaked Demon ate the crystal....
He Could Move....
