Chapter 9: Reunited for Battle

The Ministry of Magic led by Uranus arrived first on the palace of the Light Kingdom. They were welcomed by Diggie and Kaja on the entrance of the gate.

"Uranus my friend! Its been a long time since our last meet." Kaja said.

"Yes it was. I never thought we'd meet under this kind of circumstances instead of sitting enjoying a glass of beer." Uranus answered and both guardians was laughing.

When they were about to go inside, the portal opened behind them releasing a huge beam of light.

"So this is the Light Kingdom? It's too small compared to mine." Harith was the first one to exit the portal with Rafaela behind him.

"You?!" Harley recognizes the familiar face.

"Oh look here, the self-proclaimed strongest magician who can't even hide a tiny rabbit under his hat!Hahahahaha." Harith pointing Harley laughing out loud on the ground.

"That rabbit was supposed to come out of the hat but you..."

"Harley come on! That was 120 years ago! We were just kids! Im pretty sure you can pull that trick off now." Harith couldn't help himself laughing in front of every body.

Everyone starts to come out of the portal, the next one was Lancelot's fiancee, Odette. He ran towards the lady leaving behind his sister with a grumpy face.

"Odette! My beautiful Odette! Why have you come here my love?"

"Oh Lancelot,I didnt know you'd be here. I offered my help to the King."

"Oh yes, you're beauty shall cast an inspiration to this handsome young knight. I shall show you the real power I've learned throughout my trainings."

"Get a life Lancelot!" Gusion interrupted the two and dragged Lancelot towards the team.

Tigreal just came out of the palace's door to welcome the visitor's when Karina and Esmeralda walked out of the portal.

"You are not allowed to set foot on this Kingdom per order of the King." he said.

"I am her King, and she shall obey me. Not you!" Harith interrupted the awkward aura between the two.

Lastly, Minotaur and Grock was the last one to come out of the portal before it closes.

Everyone was amazed to see the huge stone giant. But Grock was not happy to be there.

"Where is the twilight orb?" Tigreal asked directly.

"Perhaps you need to learn how to properly welcome your guest and we can talk about this inside the palace." Harith said.

"Yes, we have some discussions to do and this is not a good place to talk about it." Uranus added.

Inside the Hall of Wits, everyone was gathered to discuss about the war they're about to enter.

"WHAAAAAAAT?!" Tigreal slammed his sword on the floor upon discovering that the twilight orb was now on Vexana's hands.

"You're duty was to protect the orb! Get the fortress to a safe place! Protect the princess at all cost!" He tried to get a hold of Grock looking at him furiously but the stone giant couldn't say a word.

"Stop blaming the guy! It is your fault in the first place not listening to what Esmeralda has to say. We wouldn't be here but your King was so stubborn he let his pride took over and yet left the Ministry of Magic decide the fate of his daughter." Harith said.

"The Ministry of Magic only did what they think was right for the land." Uranus stood up to fight for his voice.

"The why don't you tell them what youre planning to do now that Vexana has the orb huh! Tell them!" Esmeralda faced off Uranus.

"The princess must die. The twilight orb was supposed to come to the Land of Dawn by the first fullmoon but we were too late. Her powers under the dark magic of Vexana's will bring doom to us all." Gusion answered.

"Die? You plan to kill the future queen of this Kingdom?! She sacrificed herself for the balance of this land and for what cost? To die for failing her responsibility to bring balance in this cursed land!" Tigreal walked towards Gusion holding his scarf looking at him with madness.

"It's your choice. It's one for all. Are you willing to give away the lives of all the innocents in every Kingdom and serve the unruly queen into darkness and never ending service to her throne?!" Gusion answered bravely.

"That's enough!" Kaja released his wrath sanction bringing silence to everyone innthe room.

"This is no time to fight,just because we did some wrong decisions in the past doesn't mean we can't make it right for our future. The twilight orb still hangs into balance of light and dark and it is up to is to show her she deserves to rule bringing balance on the Land of Dawn and not Vexana!" he added.

"There is a way to release the orbs power and bring it back to what they used to be bringing light and dark on our atmosphere." Diggie interrupted holding a book and looked at the stone giant.

"My army is already set on the east led by Selena, Cyclops, and Balmond. We will set the parameter near the west gateway where Vexana's army is expected to arrive by tomorrow at dawn. We will separate her generals and fight them one by one." Harith showed the map and his plans to the group.

"My Lord, perhaps you've noticed Leomord was under Vexana's spell when we were on the Orc's village." Diggie asked Tigreal.

"Yes. He betrayed his Kingdom, he betrayed my sister! He is no longer the brother in swords I used to know "

"Are you prepared to face your sister?" Diggie added.

"Yes. I am. Prepare the army! At dawn, we will end this war."
