Chapter 10: The Unrequited Love

The dawn has finally come, this is the war they've been waiting for . Both armies from the Light and Dark Kingdom marches through the boundaries of the West land where it all began.

"Vexana! Your reign ends here!" Tigreal shouted.

"Tigreal? My brother. Have you come to end the life of your precious sister?" she asked.

"No. I have come to take you home.!"

"This is my home! And you shall see the consequences for choosing this pityful land over your own blood!" Vexana turned her back towards her waiting generals, she stopped to take a look at her brother but felt anger and pain for him.

"Kill them all!" she ordered.

The ravaging monsters pushed forward and so is the Light army. Swords piercing through the flesh, blood bursting as the blades slashes on the bodies, canons destroying the land killing anyone on its path.

Helcurt releases darkness throughout the battle killing every soldier on his hands.

"Kill ! Kill ! Kill !"

Minotaur protects Harith through the huge piles of monsters whos trying to get to the prince and released his rage stomping on every bit of it.

Terizla faces Gusion trying to get his hammer hit the fast moving assassin.

"Too slow!" Gusion said. He was not able to notice a ravaging monster behind him moving rapidly while holding a knife.

"Bang! Bang!" Gusion looked behind him and saw the monster with a huge hole on its head.

Lesley shot it dead spot on and went back to shooting some more. Gusion smirked and looked at Terizla being carried away by Kaja and beaten to pulp by Esmeralda.

Harley and Harith worked hand in hand to beat the undying wizard Faramis.

Hanzo released his dark shadow killing the Light army in a distance, but he was too busy not to notice the hidden ninja from behind Hayabusa releasing his blades through Hanzo's chest.

"Don't ever let your guard down! You dont deserve to be a ninja." he said. But right before he could turn his back to the dead body, Leomord was there standing and pierced his sword towards Hayabusa.

"Ma..mas..master.." Hayabusa looked at Tigreal.

"Leomord!" Tigreal saw Leomord pulling out his sword from Hayabusa's body.

"Ahhhhhhh!" he charged towards Leomord with their swords clanging trying to kill the very person they grew up as partners.

Grock smashing the monsters through the walls and throwing huge stones to stop the firing ball cannons.

When he saw Vexana watching from behind her army, he rushed to get a huge log throwing over where she was standing.

She was able to redirect the log from smashing through them and into the Light Army's horses .

Grock saw Leomord and Tigreal fighting not far from him and helped Tigreal who was trying to stop himself from being stabbed to death by Leomord's sword. Grock smashed Leomord on the brick wall hitting his head and losing consciousness. Vexana is losing her generals one by one, she's running out of choices.

She gets the Twilight Orb out of the box and unlocked it releasing the dark beam of light into the air creating fear on everyone on the battlefield. The light's spheres drains every soul it catches, growing and growing furiously.

"We can't come near it without touching those spheres, if we get hit by those beams its the end of us." Uranus told Gusion.

"We must finish the mission, we need to see her physical self to be able to get my knife through her.I need to get closer" he suggested.

The Ministry of Magic tried to make a move upon seeing the beam of light has started to take its physical form.

Leomord woke up holding his wounded head and saw a familiar picture right in front of him.

"Is that . . Lunox! Lunox!"

He spots Gusion getting near her holding his blade watching carefully trying to get the right timing.

When Lunox was in her full physical self and Gusion was able to duck every beam surrounding her. He released his blade towards Lunox and the dark beam of light stopped.

"Leomord!!! No!!!" she shouted. Leomord was standing in front of her with Gusion's knife pierced through his stomach.

"My queen!" Leomord tried to reach out to Lunox but lost his consciousness.

The dark beam of light became faster and faster, the light has once again changes ots color from light to yellow mixing through the beams growing stronger and stronger.

"No! No! This is not supposed to happen!" Vexana felt fear watching the orb loses its control.

"She's losing her balance! We must get out of here!" Diggie shouted trying to tell everyone to pull back.

"My friend.." Esmeralda walked to Grock and touched his face once again, "it's time...your queen needs you." her tears was flowing through her cheeks as she watched the Stone Giant slowly walks towards the piercing beams.

"My princess, remember when you were lost in the woods while following the pixie,trying to catch her? You were crying so loud you woke me up and I was able to help you from those wolf. Remember when you tried to practice your magic to hit the tree and you hit me instead? Remember the flowers blooming to that cave when the first full moon is closing in and how it blooms when you were there. Remember when you invited me to your palace and I took oath to save you from any harm. My princess, you were my only friend, you were like a sister to me." Grock arrived closed to Lunox and created a new fortress around her, but the light was too powerful.

He closed the fortress and closed himself in to avoid the light from escaping. He hugged the fortress so tight and said,

"Hopefully my princess, you will remember me."

Lunox loses all the control, a strong beam of light was released to the sky piercing through the atmosphere creating a huge fog of dust towards its surroundings. When the fog was cleared, everyone saw the brick of stones shattered into dust , the fortress was unbroken. Harith opened the fortress and saw Lunox opening her radiant blue eyes for the first time. Everyone rejoiced as the Land of Dawn has finally seen its first sunrise ending a long time war.

"Leomord!" Lunox ran towards Leomord who was healed by Rafaela.

"Im sorry if I failed you ." he said.

"You never did my love. I will never leave you ever again."

The two lovers kissed and so the Kingdom rejoices, the Light King Minsitthar was back to his self and all the Kingdom's in the Land of Dawn celebrated for days, finally everyone bids goodbye with each other but with happy memories to bring home to their Kingdoms.

Leomord and Lunox visited the cave and offered flowers from Odette's garden on an altar they created for Grock.

Beneath the Light Kingdom's palace...rats crawling to the broken pipes, and the sound of chains can be heard throughout the hallway.

"It's never too late to change yourself.."Tigreal said.

"My brother, it is not over yet.. And when that time comes, you'll be proud to kneel on my throne by then.You will see... you will se...Hahahahahaha"

Tigreal walks out leaving his sister Vexana chained for eternity.
