Seven Months Later

It's seven months later and a lot has happen. I work at the shop and I hear someone come in. I get busy and check some things off and check some cash. "Welcome to The Cake, how may I help you?" I ask. "Aria, we need to talk" They say. I look up and say "Charles... What are you doing here." "I came to see you. I haven't seen you in months." He says. I step out of the counter and say "I think it's a little too late. "Aria..." He says looking at my stomach. Carly then walks out with my baby. "She's all changed!" Carly Says. "Thanks..." I say as I grab the baby. "You..." He says. "A lot has happened" I say. "What about your wife?" I ask. "The baby news was fake... Look, I'm so sorry." He says. I start laughing. "What's so funny?" He asks. "Your saying sorry? For god knows you broke up with me after saying that you'll be by my side the whole time. I raised this child alone. Joe LEFT." I say as I start crying. "It was all just... Just a lie..." I say. "Except where I said I love you." He says as hi lifts my head up. "I'm sorry, I just can't..." I say as I walk behind the counter. "What I'm trying to say is... I'm sorry. It'll take a long time for you to forgive me, I know that. Nothing can really stop me from loving you, I never stopped loving you." He says. I look up at him and say "Yea... I'm sorry too...". "What's the name?" He asks. "Felecei Hunterson." I say. "She's beautiful." He says. I wipe my tears and smile. "She is, isn't she." I say. After that, we just talk.
