ESCAPE

Hui took a detour, instead of going back home. He took the route to a desolate mountain. It didn't take a while to hear his phone ring. He picked it up hands-free, "Hello".

"Hui, where are you?"

"I am going to be late so don't wait, I will come see you tomorrow."

"Hmm... then lets talk about it tomorrow."

"Anything important?"

"Lets talk tomorrow. Drive safe."

"Hmm"

He hanged up continued on his way. The bright light that followed him aroused his suspicion. He observed it. He had a tail behind him.

He sped up hoping to loose them.

As the door creaked open, she watched through between the hinges. The person entered the room with food for her.

The sight of the room that came to his view was a mess. Before he could raise his guard something hard hit behind his head. He slumped to the floor.

She closed the door and searched him thoroughly. She got hold of his firearms and armed herself and headed out of the room. The two guards patrolling in the hallway immediately alerted the rest of the staff as soon as they saw her.

They headed towards her, she grabbed hold of the shards of vase in both her hands and ran towards them. She threw the shards at them aiming for their right shoulder injuring them. She then threw a spinning elbow knockout to the one at her right then punched right in the stomach of the guy on her left.

She knocked them out and took out the shards from their shoulder. She looked at the shards and said, "They are pretty good at shredding the initial attacks. Should I make use of these? Shredders... Hmmm.... I like these Shredders. Fragile but potent"

As she looked up she could see that the number of people swarming in was quite large for her to take altogether.

'I should save my energy.'

She looked around to find an escape route. She locked the nearby window as the target. She climbed up the walls and slid out through the window.

She could hear the siren go out alerting her break out. She looked around for a four-wheeler. She spotted a jeep. She headed towards its direction, the number of people trying to take her down was not her cup now due to her condition.

As one of them made a move to tackle her down, she cartwheeled over him and attacked him from behind with the tubing. She choked him and took out his firearm and shot a few of the men in their legs headed in her direction. The wound started to hurt as the blood trickled down her forehead. She knocked the guy down, wiped of the blood with the back of her hand and moved towards the jeep.

The jeep had just entered the premises and was being pulled up. A bulky guy stepped out all prepared to take her down.

'I ain't wasting time with my fists' ,she took out the gun and shot at his leg. She then pulled out the staff and struck him right across his head and thwacked him down.

She turned around to see Su Lin rushing to the balcony. He looked flabbergasted. She gave a casual two finger goodbye salute and mouthed 'Adios'.

She picked up the keys got inside the jeep and dashed out of the villa. She stepped on the accelerator as the wound started to hurt real bad.

Hui still had the car tailing him maintaining a distance. Being the only route it was hard to loose them. The bad connection made it hard to contact anyone. He had to deal all of this himself.

He had just decided to confront them head on when an unexpected jeep took him off guard around the corner. He steered off track crashing into the guardrail.

He opened his eyes to find himself hanging over the cliff. His head ached after the hit. He looked outside of the window to find no ground to step on. He slowly moved to the back maintaining the balance of the car so as to not fall down the cliff.

He had just opened the door of the car when it started to slide down. He tried to jump against the falling car desperately looking somewhere to grab a hold of.

A hand held out and clasped his arm tightly and pulled him up. After a moment of relief he immediately turned around to the person who helped him.

He found a lady lying down with bloodied bandages around her head and hand. Her hair was a messy braid that seemed wild and spunky. As she turned her head to look at him he held his breath for a second.

'Untamed and unrestrained. …..Does it mean the same?' he thought.
