The dark sky laid the perfect background for the bright moon that hung up high above. Hui drove to his base to investigate further into today's incident. As he parked the car in the compound, he saw Lei right outside walking towards him.

He got out and gave the keys to Lei and said, "Find whose jeep is this and get me all the details related to it. Also look into this license plate number and find me whose car is it. Hunt them down." Hui handed a piece of paper with the mentioned license plate number.

"Yes Boss, I will work on it."

As they walked into the building Hui stopped midway turned around and told him, "One more thing. Look into a person called Mei. Get me all the details you can get about her. Don't leave out any details. Do you get me?"

"Boss, I don't think I will be able to dig deeper with just one name."

"Ah… That is right"

"We have no clue how many Mei are out there. It will be very hard to find the person you are looking for. But if there is any other info that I could connect when I search her up it could make it easier."

"Hmmm….. Yes, there is one. I have her address. I will send it to you. Look it up for me."

"Yes Boss"

They resumed their walk and headed straight in. Hui wanted to check the progress they had made so far.

"What is the progress about the club case?"

"So far we couldn't get hold of anything."

"That's disappointing. We have almost reached the deadline. What do you think is going to happen?"

"We will surely not disappoint you. We are doing an extensive search into it. We will come across something real soon."

"I will be satisfied as long as you guys do come up with something."

After he spoke his mind, he went into his office. He had just remembered that he had got a call from his brother before the entire ordeal. He had promised to talk to him today. He picked up his phone to call him.

It didn't take a while for him to answer the call.

"Hello"

"Brother"

"I thought you will not call today. Did anything come up? I was just thinking to look into you."

"Ah.. that.. I got tailed yesterday. I just didn't know when they were behind me."

"You got tailed? How bad was it?"

"It seemed like they wanted me dead."

"What do you mean?"

Hui talked to his brother about the entire incident.

"So did you look into them?"

"Lei is working on it. It shouldn't take a while."

"How about that woman? Did you check on her too?"

"I am looking into her. I am not sure how long it will take. But she does seem a bit off the radar."

"Okay. Then keep me updated about the information."

"Hmm. Also, what was it that you wanted to talk to me last time?"

"It was about Liling's incident. I am digging into it and I am having a hard time finding this person."

"What do you mean?"

"There seems to be no clue of the person that you guys talked about. So far I haven't come up with any leads." Lei headed out of his office.

"I will look into it."

"Okay then."

"Catch up later."

"Hmm"

"Lei, look into all the cameras that were near Lilings incident area."

"Yes."

"Look up for anyone in a hoodie, cap and a mask. Keep note that it is a female figure."

"Yes Boss."

"Make sure not to miss even the slightest detail."

"Yes Boss."

As Hui concentrated, he thought, 'Why am not getting any leads of anyone lately. Do they not exist or what?'

His patience started to run out as nothing was coming up.

"Boss, I have the details about the Jeep and the license plate number."

He took the file Lei handed to him and questioned, "Hmmm. How about the other ones?"

"So far nothing."

"Why does I just keep on being disappointed with you lately?"

"Sorry Boss."

"Ah.. I really hate hearing it. Why don't you guys speed up a little bit. It might help a lot."

"Yes Boss."

Frustrated Lei turned around to headed back to his office.
