The first move was made by the monster that seemed to be the leader, it resembled a carnotaurus. As it ran towards me it swang its head to the left and chomped on a tree and crunched down on it. It struggled for a moment before uprooting the whole entire tree, it used the uprooted tree like a heavy bat as it swang it at me and cut down many trees in the way. While he did this the giant type monsters in the category of felines, -giant tigers for short- lunged at me.
Pumping myself up for the fight, I punched my fists together and let loose a barrage of punches at the first giant tiger that reached me.
*prrrRrRRCHKKKK prCHKKKK*
The tiger's face resembled mashed potatoes with some bones sticking out, as I continued sending barrages, sounds of flesh being smashed kept sounding in my ears.
Seeing what seemed like their companion being so ruthlessly murdered in front of them, the giant tigers started slowing down. As they slowed down the giant carnotaurus had swung its uprooted tree bat which struck the slowed down tigers and turned them into balls of flesh that flew my way. I easily dodged them as I zigzagged side to side, I abruptly stopped as I positioned myself to let out the hardest punch I could let out in the matter of seconds. I put strength into my legs and hand as I punched with all my might at the giant uprooted tree that was swinging my way, as the tree made contact with my fist the tree completely disintegrated at the area of contact. Seeing this the giant lizards started retreating to their home in where the trees blocked out the sun.
Knowing full well that the giant lizards would be two times if not five times stronger, I chased them at full speed. As their silhouettes faded into darkness, I soon faded into the darkness as well.
"You're quite brave elven boy."
"Elve??"
Before I could lose myself to senseless thinking, I snapped out of it and paid full attention to where the voice was coming from. I lunged at a direction I was sure at and unleashed a barrage of punches. Immediately the sound of a giant creature stomping away could be heard, and the sound of fist hitting hard wood came from where I struck. After the sound of shattered pieces of wood hitting the ground stopped, the dark abyss that I had jumped in once filled with silence.
After what seemed like an eternity of silence a giant lizard head appeared in front of me in the darkness, as I dodged its bite, the lizard had bitten into the tree as a result. Seeing this opportunity I pounded on the lizard and let loose a barrage of attacks on its head. Although it had received tens if not hundreds of punches from me, the giant lizard head showed no signs of damage.
Seeing that I couldn't cause any damage to it with my blunt fists, I retreated as the giant lizard pulled its fangs off of the tree it had bitten into. The process of pulling off his fangs had seemed excruciating as it left fangs on the tree and it started wobbling. I knew it had gotten nauseous from my barrage but in terms of real damage the giant lizard had taken very little. The giant lizard wobbled back into the silent darkness, and the silence of the forest once again returned. I pulled out a giant fang with all my effort and planned to use it as a giant nail that I would use to try and kill the giant lizards.
As a result of seeing my actions a low growl broke the silence of the forest as it said in a low voice lower than anything that I had ever heard, "YOU DARE?!??"
Seeing an opportunity to lure out my prey, I tried to provoke them to the best of my abilities as I said, "What are you gonna do about it? A lowly hu... elven boy is pointing your own fangs at you. Do you have what it takes teach me a lesson?!"
The forest was was once again filled with silence. Sighing to myself and wondering if I overdid it and was too obvious, I started to scan around my surroundings,- as my vision slowly adjusted to the dark- to make sure that I didn't get surprised attacked. While I was quickly scanning my surroundings, something had caught my eye as a sound of blade cutting through the wind reached my ears. I saw a little dot of light that was flying towards me at an alarming speed, I quickly raised the giant lizard fang in front of my face to block it.
To my shock the thing flying at me had completely shattered the fang and continued in its path to my face. The thing, that I could recognize now as a spear, was greatly slowed down by coming into collision with the fang. I clapped both my hands on the shaft to capture it, to my surprise the spear still had enough momentum to push me off my feet, I quickly leaned my head to the side as the spear lifted me off my feet and pinned itself to the tree whose branch I had been standing on.
Momentarily I was dangling on a spear that had pinned itself to the gigantic tree. I had no plans to let it return to whoever had thrown it at me. I started to pull out the spear when another light appeared at the corner of my eye. Although it wasn't as bright or at the speed of the first one sent, it would still be enough to impale me if I was careless. I prepared to catch it and if I couldn't, I prepared to dodge it but my plans were quickly pushed away as the gigantic carnotaurus and its 4 other gigantic lizard friends started to sprint at me.
As the ground started shaking and I started getting nauseous from shaking up and down from the vibrating spear. I reluctantly let go of the spear and caught the new spear that had been charging at me, remaining cautious of the 5 giant lizards heading my way and the mysterious spear thrower.
When I caught the new spear in my hands, I could immediately feel that it was lower in quality compared to the first one, I held it in my hands and jumped onto a branch of the giant tree.
I quickly took a stance that I remembered one of my opponents that beat me once used with their spear. Immediately I could feel a strange sense of familiarity in using the spear, someone who saw me with my stance probably believed I was someone who practiced using the spear. I accepted this and immediately jabbed at the giant carnotaurus that had rushed towards me. I aimed for its neck since it was the closest thing to me.
Although the spear had pierced through my target incredibly well, it might as well be compared to an ant trying to kill a human with a pin needle. I retrieved the spear that had been embedded into the carnotaurus and headed straight for its eyes. Although the other giant lizards had seen everything, they couldn't do anything as I sped up faster and faster -pushing myself to the limit.-
I quickly ran up its neck aiming for the head, when the spear that had been embedded into the tree was flying towards me again at an even more violent speed than the first time. I knew I couldn't block it, immediately I calculated that if I was the target then even after it impaled me it'd penetrate through to the carnotaurus as well. Armed with this useless knowledge, I reached the top of the carnotaurus' head and released a barrage of punches. Pushed back by all the force of my punches the head of the carnotaurus had fallen down in the path of the unstoppable spear, as expected the spear pierced through its head and left a gigantic exit wound as it flew towards a tree and embedded itself halfway in.
While I was left marveled at the sight of what had just happened in front of me, I was defenseless as I slowly felled down. One of the giant lizards, seeing an opportunity, charged at me and caught me in its mouth. Before he could bite down on any of my limbs I charged towards his insides, but his tongue had another plan for me as it pushed me towards his sharp fangs. Not having any other choice, as I had dropped the spear in order to release my barrage of punches on the carnotaurus, I started doing what I did best and released a barrage of punches at the tongue.
