Love! Not Again..

The following would have continued unless Kiara felt a strong feminine hand on her shoulder making her jump and squeal in response.

Kiara, was afraid to turn as she didn't wish to lose the charming guy. Smitten, was she with him!

But, a slight tap again made her turn to see its owner. She heaved a sigh of relief when she found her best friend - Shona eyeing her suspiciously. She knew she was indeed trapped because this friend of hers was not the one to be fooled. She acted casually whereas her friend was in her standard pose of something-is-up-and-you-are-hiding-it.

Yes, that's what they are the best friends, the happy buddies, the drama queens, shopaholics, foodies which also made them talk of the town. Where you found one, the second would always be nearby, they were almost inseparable friends since childhood.

OH Yes, the introductions.

Well, this is Kiara, born and brought up in Delhi, raised by her nanny as her parents being the famous and busy Cardiologists hardly were home. Being the only child, she is bestowed with every luxury and uncountable assets in her name including her parent's heart hospital Kiara Foundation.

Kiara, beautiful with long hairs, slender yet petite body with a curvaceous figure made every boy drool over her. Though she had a thick accent yet her attitude was polite, her vocabulary was exceptional, and the learning attitude towards everything made her more likable amongst any new group she went to.

Kiara's million dollar smile would make even the stars blush, she could hardly see anybody sad and her only aim was to make this world a beautiful place to live in. Though she was a mess inside, a failed relationship caused her never to trust any person. Yet, on the outer, she was always a loving and caring person.

Shona, on the other hand was a polar opposite of Kiara. Outspoken, Bold, Vivacious, and a big time foodie. She loved two things the most, sleeping and singing. Graduated as an Interior Designer, she had her own store 'KISH' which instantly attracted eyes when she launched it a year ago, of the who's who of the town.

Shona had basically two rules in her life which were mandatory to follow:

1) Do not mess with her.

2)AND, DO NOT MESS WITH HER.

Shona knew something was spooky, she smirked and asked in hurried tone with her slender hands placed on her hips. She looked stunning in an a-line wine colour gown with her hair perfectly braided sideways.

"Kia, where the hell have you been? I have been searching you the entire time, even I had those silly aunties bother me with their requirements. I mean, who asks you to construct their home when they haven't yet bought it. I am pissed." Shona was going on and on, until she realised that Kiara wasn't paying any attention to her.

"Excuse me! You again passed out on me!"

"Ohh, I am sorry," Kiara replied sheepishly.

"Okay! I have zero tolerance now tell me quickly what I am missing here? ",  Shona asked impatiently.

As if caught, Kiara blushed and directed Shona to the spot where Mr.Charmer was, last time she saw. Following Kiara's direction, she glanced over her shoulders "What?"

Immediately Kiara turned 180 degrees and got disheartened as there were only a group of waiters discussing something and a lousy man drinking and talking to an empty chair. She composed herself quickly and started running towards the waiters. Shona confused about what's going on, followed her trail.

She nonchalantly asked the waiters about the mysterious adorable man and they shrugged, but that little boy blurted out, 'A, went the other side.'

Kiara out of nowhere hugged that boy and he blushed from the sudden embrace. Without waiting for Shona, she started frantically searching for Mr. Mysterious A.

The place outside the hall, adjoining the terrace was dimly lit. The huge flower decorations were hard to ignore but Kiara being the clumsiest girl was running pushing all those flower-pots and wall hangings onto the floor and Shona following her trail began saying sorry to every waiter she met on her way. She couldn't match her pace but didn't quit following her.

After a whole impromptu marathon, they returned to the same place, heaving profusely, clothes disheveled and hairs out of the bun with sweaty forehead and palms.

Shona, bearing no more busted out, "What the hell was that, Kia? Could please elaborate? I almost ran a freaking marathon with you. Why are you behaving so strange?"

Kiara knew that Shona was angry and concerned, panting she stood up straight and hugged her. Shona melted, clueless of what's going on, hugged her back.

After composing herself, Shona asked her politely,

"What's the matter, Kiara? Did anyone harm you or bully you again? Tell me and I swear they would never come to you again."

Kiara, still in the bear hug stated with exhilaration, "Shona, I like him, I like that person. I want to meet him."
