Taehyung's POV

It's been a week and everything's been going great so far, Y/N and Jimin would often bond together while the guys worked part time and I'm stuck with watching Soobin, Yeonjun, Taehyun (well, this is weird), Kai, and Beomgyu

They're easy to get along with, we're all still adjusting to the fact that Jungkook isn't the youngest now, he feels great with ordering the five boys around, too bad he can't do that to us

"Hyung, we've been staying here for too long" Soobin started "We only stayed here because we were in danger right?" His friends nodded

"It feels embarassing already, we feel like we should go home now" Yeonjun stood up but I told him to sit back down "Jimin is a very nice guy, besides, your schools are near here, but if you really prefer to stay at your parents place then you can go" I smiled

"Actually, don't mind them hyung, they're just crazy, we'd love to stay here longer until we're old enough to find our own home" Taehyun smiled which his friends didn't seem to like

Beomgyu started saying something but I got distracted because I heard someone enter, I turned around and saw Jimin and Y/N arguing like there was no tomorrow, the five boys didn't notice it, or maybe they just chose to ignore the argument

"I don't see why you prefer to play inside an arcade instead of eating food! You even used my money!" Y/N glared at her brother who had a sleepy face "You eat everyday! Arcades are something hard to go to once you've grown up" Jimin defended himself "Besides, you really need a diet, Taehyung might not like you anymore once you turn into a pig" he stuck his tongue out, wait, why was I brought into the argument?! And what the freak did Jimin say?

"Uhm, I'm alright with her looking cute" I said all of a sudden which made everyone in the room look at me, the Parks' mouths were wide open while the five boys were giving me a look that said 'woah' "Is there anything wrong with what I said?"

"N-Nothing" Y/N blushed a bit and looked back at her brother "I'll have lunch with Jungkook and Hoseok today, hopefully their shifts are done" She mentioned and walked out of the house

Okay, awkward mode on, face the consequences of your actions Kim Taehyung. Jimin walked closer to me and gave me an 'are-you-serious?' kind of look "What did you expect from me?" I asked

"You're very crazy, I can see why you two like each other" I rolled my eyes at him, why do I feel like he's drunk? But Y/N would've turned into a beast if that happened "I liked your kind version better" I commented, it's really rare for Jimin to be a responsible person, he's hard to understand or talk to when he's on child mode

"He'll be back in a million years" He laughed and looked at Kai talking with his friends "We should hangout with them, like us seven and those five, who knows what will happen" Jimin suggested and I guess he's starting to imagine crazy things right now

"Aren't we supposed to be the good influence here?" I raised an eyebrow at him, he shrugged "I never considered the seven of us as good" Jimin snorted and walked closer to the boys, he looked like he successfully joined their game

Later that night

"That was fun! But seriously, you better hope the police won't catch you" Y/N told Hoseok who was just smirking "I'm the King of Pranks, you can ask Jimin about the legendary things I did back then"

"If you say so" she shrugged, hmm, I wonder what stupid thing hyung did today "Yah! Park Y/N!" All of our heads turned to whoever shouted, it was her small big brother "Uhh, present?" He stomped over to his sister and roared "I thought you were just going to have lunch with Jungkook and Hobi hyung?! Why are you three late? I mean two, and where the hell is Jungkook? And why do you look so tired?!" He looked a Hoseok "I swear I am not trusting my sister with you and Yoongi hyung if she ends up getting bad habits" He groaned

"Relax Jimin, Jungkook will be here in a few seconds, and we have a reasonable explanation to why we went home a bit late" Hoseok smiled, there was silence, when he realized no one is explaining, he nudged Y/N on the arm, she rolled her eyes and dully looked at her brother

Y/N sighed "After we ate, Hoseok here said he wanted to show me something, Jungkook and I protested, but we had no choice since Hoseok promised to buy us ice cream if he watched whatever he planned to do, and he encouraged us to throw toilet paper around an abandoned house, the three of us enjoyed the childish act but apparently an old man lived there and he called the police, so in the end, we spent most of our time running and hiding, Jungkook said a while ago he'll take a shortcut but now I don't know where he ran off to"

Jimin's look was not so friendly after the long explanation, he continued ranting and scolding the two, his voice was so loud to the point that no one, except me, heard the knock on the door I assumed that it was Jungkook, so I instantly opened the door, unfortunately, it was just Yoongi hyung with a very grumpy face "What happened to you?" I asked

"Well, Namjoon and Seokjin hyung said that they'll treat me somewhere, we entered a great restaurant and eventually the two blokes just had a date and chose me as the third wheel without letting me eat! I hope they choke or get thrown out of the place sooner or later" Jeez, he and Jimin's not having a great day, I was about to close the door, but someone prevented me from doing so, it was Jungkook!

"Kook, are you alright?" He just gave me a thumbs up, poor kid "You see, this is why I don't like shortcuts, mostly in math" I commented as I helped him get inside "Are you serious hyung?" he raised an eyebrow "Well, I'll shower then go to sleep, night" Jungkook waved and went upstairs

While I was watching Jungkook go up, I something popped into my head, we have the same routine everyday, it's getting predictable and a bit boring, even if I find it funny whenever the Park siblings will have one of their famous arguments in the living room. Why don't I schedule a trip for me and Y/N to Daegu? Eonjin told me that mom and dad's coming home next week, she could meet them! But my only fear is that Y/N might be uncomfortable with it, especially because of recent events, I also can't bring everybody because they'll have to adjust their schedules, and I want more alone time with Y/N d^~^b

And she could reunite with Yeontan! I know that those two miss eachother so much, so why not? I looked over at Y/N and it seemed like her brother already stopped the scolding and lectures, sometimes I can't tell if he's a brother or a parent to Y/N. Once Jimin left, I started to approach Y/N "Hey.." I greeted

"Hi" She smiled "Sorry you all had to see that, jeez, I can't believe he still treats me like a ten-year-old" "You know, there are some children who are younger than 10 but manage to stay out of trouble" I chuckled but shut up when she gave me a fierce look "hehe, but of course you didn't want trouble" She scoffed, looks like I didn't help

Well, I hope what I'll say will change her mood "So... My parents are coming to Daegu next week, I was wondering if you would like to come with me? Jeonggyu and Eonjin also miss you so much" I said "Besides, I would like to introduce you to them and vice versa" Her face lit up "Sure! Why not?" Phew! That went better than expected , I smiled at her in reply, I hope the next few days will go by quickly

At Daegu....

Instead of driving all the way to my hometown, we took a plane instead, I was a bit annoyed because while I was asleep, Y/N drew and wrote weird things all over my face, tss, and she says that she isn't a kid

I spent about fifteen minutes inside the men's comfort room, by the time I was done, Y/N and I ate a rice meal in one of the restaurants inside the airport, and we decided to walk all the way to my house, which was surprisingly not tiring, nothing changed, except for the fact that the streets were not that crowded anymore

We headed for my house, Eonjin, Jeonggyu, mom, and dad didn't know that we would be arriving today so I guess it'll be a good surprise. We slowly walked closer to my house and peeked in one of the windows, fortunately for us, they weren't covered by curtains, my family was playing with Yeontan, I heard Y/N silently pout, hmm, looks like I was right about her missing Yeontan! High five Tae- oh wait I'm thinking weird things again

I walked away from the window and faced the door, I don't know why but I'm nervous.... that mom will embarrass me in front of Y/N, I could think of several scenarios that might happen later, ugh Taehyung don't overthink! Whatever happens, you can just go to Jeonggyu for help, he's very loyal and I can count on him anytime.

After a few minutes, my mother opened the door, her eyes widened and she quickly hugged me "Oh Taehyungie! Why didn't you tell us that you'll visit?! Ugh the house is messy! And I look horrible, and- I see you brought a guest" her joyful tone turned into a confused one and she stared at Y/N, who looked super nervous "I don't think I've seen you before"

"Mom" I started "That's Y/N, the girl I've been telling you about for years" I explained, I used to tell my mother multiple stories about Y/N ever since we met during my college days, I wouldn't shut up about her and my mom would always be happy to share some advices on how to win a girl's heart

"Oh you mean the super smart and beautiful Y/N , the one who inspires you to work hard and actually be a responsible guy for once? Well I've got to say, your taste in clothes improved and I love the way you talk nowadays, I can't believe that you two are still together! My baby found the right one for him!" My eyes widened when mom said all those, I looked at Y/N who was giggling, okay time to hide

Mom faced Y/N and hugged her tightly "Thank you so much for bringing my children happiness, Jeonggyu and Eonjin also told me about how you were such a good big sister to them" Y/N smiled "No problem Mrs Kim, I can say they can catch anyone's heart easily with that lovable attitude of theirs"

"Oh please, call me mom" Mom dragged Y/N inside the house, I have a feeling that those two will go shopping sooner or later, I felt someone rest their hand in my shoulders, I looked beside me and saw that it was dad "Looks like your mother's gotten attached to your girlfriend already" He mentioned "I can tell that she has stolen your heart already, it should be the other way around but I like it" He patted my back

"That's what I like about her, she's different, I hope she's not scary like mom though" I chuckled, dad suggested that we all have a family dinner in my favorite restaurant from when I was a kid, of course I agreed! It's been 10 years since I've eaten there!
