Maiden Of The Sea

I start to sing the moon melodies start to appear from all directions floating above me.

Once I finish the song they hang around for a while everyone stares at me. "What?"

One of the idol's blush slightly. "I wasn't expecting you to be that good at singing."

I take a bite of fish. "I use to take a singing class when I was little but I never persued it."

She looks down. "That's a shame I would have liked to hear your music professionally."

I laugh slightly and we change the subject. One of the guys point at the bandit. "He doesn't look to hot. That wound on his leg is probably getting to him."

I walk over picking him up like a briefcase tossing him into the hot spring he becomes alert flailing around breathing heavily. "W-Whats going on!?"

I glance down at him. "You almost died from your wound. flop around in there for a bit and you'll be good as new."

I walk back over sitting down I finish eating us guys take a dip in the hot spring we set the bandit against his tree.

We talk for a little while and a fog rolls in the smell of death fills the air and the guys fall asleep. I have the roots pull them out of the water while I sit there relaxing

A women with long wavy black hair and violet eyes steps into the water naked her pale skin shinning from the light in the water.

She takes a seat across the spring from me leaning back against the rocks as the steam rises "I wasn't expecting to be able to relax on this mission"

She cups her hand lifting some of the water looking at it and smelling it slightly closing her eyes "the scent of your magic is so enticing no wonder the moon melodies love you."

I rest my hand on the rocks "what are you here for?"

Her eyes glow for a moment "I've been sent by the god of death to kill you."

I close my eyes leaning back "oh, alright."

I feel a cool breeze I open my eyes shes face to face with me her eyes glow bright "It was a nice chat but I have a job to do."

My eyes glow gold for a moment fear spreads across her face she doesn't move a muscle. her nails are grown out like claws they retract slowly as she starts to shake.

I smile "what's wrong aren't you gonna kill me?"

I reach up touching her cheek "come on don't lose your drive now the fun was just starting."

She drops to her knees in the water shaking i hold her chin looking her in the eyes she breathes eroticly. "i-ive been bested."

I let go of her face she bows slightly "As stated by my people if I should ever lose to a man he will become my master or take my life."

I sit back "I have uses for you being close to the god of death so lets call this a draw."

She blushes slightly "very well master my name is Ivy Im known as the Dark temptress a priestess of the church of darkness."

I look at her body "I see why you have that name."

She blushes touching her cheek "you flater me master I will warn you the god of death is very angry that an unmarked human defeated his temple he will be sending 3 waves of death at you I was the first the next two will be even harder I suggest you run."

I touch her cheek smiling "I'll be fine return to your temple I'll call for you after these day's are up im headed to the Cerios kingdom."

She blushes bowing "I pray for your success master if you'll exuse me."

Her body vanishes into black mist and the fog lifts the others wake up. They get back in and I get out laying ontop of the carriage making a small bed for myself.

The moon melodies float near me Irina climbs up onto the carriage laying beside me. "Tonight was great the girl's are very friendly and you seem to be getting along with Sir Luke."

I lay my hand over my eyes "I guess so im glad you made some friend's."

She touches my chest "what's wrong?"

I sigh "Nothing just thinking."

A look of concern spreads across her face she lays her head on my chest and we fall asleep a while later.

In the middle of the night I feel something touching my face. I open my eyes the moon melodies are poking me i sit up they make an arrow pointing at the water.

I vanish appear at the edge a dome of mist covers the water as I get in again sitting down. The melodies swhirl above me in mass a image appears across the water of 13 women sitting on thrones they're in different locations

The one with blonde hair flips her hair over her shoulder "So you're the unmarked one who defeated the dark temple you don't look like much."

A soft spoken blue haired girl holding an orb looks at the blonde "Lilith dont be rude to him he's-"

Lilith looks at her "Im aware of what he is but he needs to be aware of who we are."

She looks at me "you are our tool nothing more don't let the fact we are your brides get to your head you answer to us."

I reach forward grabbing her by the throat grabbing her by the throat I smile. "Can you feel it? The feeling of death mear moments away?"

Fear spreads across her face. "I dont answer to anyone I cleared that temple on a whim and if you think being my bride will keep you safe from death you are nieve. Talk to me like that again and i promise whatever threat you think this world is under wont compare to what I'll do."

I pull her closer. "Do I make myself clear?"

She nods I feel her shaking I look at the light blue haired girl. "you can talk to the melodies can't you?"

She nods nervously "y-yes its one of my special powers as a ether maiden."

I hold my hand up letting go of lilith the melodies float into my hand "That's cool being able to open a live image gate from 14 points in the world simultaneously that isnt easy your power is useful."

Her eyes light up "T-Thank you."

A girl with light pink hair smirks "I don't know why we are even introducing ourselves he will be dead by tomorrow the god of death is sending the 3 waves of death after him. Enjoy your last night the best you can."

The blue haired girl tries to tell them to think positively I reach through patting her head "thanks at least you have faith if you need anything don't hesitate to ask."

She blushes nodding the mist vanishes and I head back to bed. I fall asleep a display opens that blue haired girl is trying to use a dream connection spell.

I allow it opening my eyes in my dreamscape its been forever since ive been here. Darkness is everywhere I sit down on a gold and black throne.

She walks through the darkness looking around nervously "H-Hello-"

I snap forming a chair in front of me. "Take a seat."

She sits down holding the orb close to her. "I apologize for the other's behavior and for bothering you while you sleep I just... I wanted to ask you... What do you plan to do once you've collected all the fragments?"

I lean back pulling a drink out taking a sip. "I'll kill whatever threat is facing this world then go back home."

She looks a bit curious "home... Unmarked ones aren't from this world ive been told, so you plan to return to your world... That sounds nice."

She looks down sadness spreading across her face. "Do you not have a home?"

She looks up at me "N-No my people have fallen to their own greed and thirst for power long ago. Whats left of my kingdom sits under the sea next to the great water temple. I was sealed in a coffin as punishment. I know it's selfish but if you find a way home would you take me with you?"

I nod "I don't think that would be to hard."

Her eyes light up "you mean it?"

I smile "Yes, I don't go back on my promises."

I snap changing the dreamscape into the forest I grew up in as a child She looks around "This place is beautiful."

I look around "Yeah, Like you my home doesn't exist anymore..."

She looks sad "Im sorry, where do you live then?"

I snap a city appears around us we are sitting in the middle of an intersection. She freaks out as cars pass by. "This is my current home and where the group im with come from do you think you could live here?"

She looks up at the tall buildings and cars driving by the people walking around happily. "Everyone looks so happy here I think I could live here but would we ever be able to visit the sea?"

I nod snapping my finger changing the dreamscape to the beach we where headed to. "Before we got transported here we where on our way to the beach on a school trip."

She stands up "this place is so beautiful! Can I come here with you?"

I follow her down to the water she puts her feet in spinning around the moonlight causes her hair to sparkle as she spins around. "I don't see why not."

She stays still I step closer "everything okay?"

She sniffs turning around burying her head into my chest her huge boobs smush against me she tears up. "Thank you for showing me such kindness I know you have your own things to worry about the god of death is coming after you and im asking such selfish things of you."

I pat her head lifting it slightly wiping her tears "you're making future plans with me like the god of death isn't even a threat to me. I like that confidence so after I beat this god lets visit the beach together im sure my companions will go crazy over a beauty like you."

She blushes slightly leaning forward kissing me on the cheek. "Thank you for cheering me up I will see you again soon wont I?"

I nod she smiles "goodnight."

We both vanish and I wake up as the sun just starts to rise.
