ACT XVII: OBLIVION

"Nothing is Everything!"

Breathing heavily, Edgar woke up in the exact same room. He was only focused to one thing, saving Christina! "I need to find and save her. I need to bring her back!" He murmured to himself.

"EDGAR!" someone shouted in the large corridor outside the room. Edgar went out to investigate. His mind was rolling like a hamster wheel. "Is that Coop?! I need to find Christina? I need to save her before it is too late!" he looked at the shadow. It is somewhat similar but because of his fear he went to the opposite direction while he walks lamely because of the excruciating pain in his chest that almost affected his whole body except his mind power.

"Edgar is that you?" he shouted as Edgar continuously walks towards the southwest direction.

The man in the shadows started running toward Edgar's direction and shouting loudly, "Wait! Edgar it's me! It's Michael! Michael Curt!" As Edgar heard these phrases his fast limping walk became slower not because it was his friend, but it was because of his enervated knees from the continuous running and the feeling of dread that she was not with him. Christina is lost, and he do not know how to tell his old friend that he lost her little nephew.

Michael continues to shout in the empty white hallway where they are standing. "Edgar where is Christina?! Where is my child?!" Edgar stopped at the middle of the hallway while Michael continued to run towards him.

Edgar's bandaged head was arched when he looked at Michael that was standing in front of him. His white hair covered some parts of his face, but tears started dripping. "I'm sorry my friend I lost her. I lost Christina." He murmured.

A spike of pain ruptured his chest. He looks at his old friends face smiling and crying tears of blood. Behind him is the dark shadow from the lab. "You do not deserve him." The shadow said in a deep and trembling voice.

The shadow disappeared repeating the same phrases again and again. While his friend stumbled down, Edgar went to his side and with a dying voice he said to Edgar, "Find her, please find her, 'till then I shall forgive you..."

Michaels body started becoming into ash as Edgar hugs his dear old friend goodbye. "I shall find her! Sorry, Old Friend!"
