Murdered Paintings (Part2)

A week later, they became best friends. They would study together after class and do other things together.

One evening, they went to a local swimming pool together. There were only the two of them, and so they played around in the pool.

Eventually they stopped and rest. Sitting by the pool, chatting.

He enjoyed the cool breeze, sun shining on him and chatting with Noel.

But then, he saw something at the bottom of the pool. It was a murdered painting... Which made him uncomfortable.

What happened here?

For a few times, he was listening to Noel, but the questions keep on coming.

He wanted to see what it was, and what had happened.

Then, he decided to go to the pool alone to see the painting.

He was shooked when he saw a guy, sitting by the pool. It was Noel.

"Hey" he said as he was walking towards Noel, tapping him on the shoulder. That made him jump a little.

"What are you doing here?"

"The weather's kinda hot today, and wanted to swim" he said, putting his backpack down and sitting beside Noel.

He noticed that Noel's body was dry, he hasn't been in the water yet.

"Aren't you swimming?"

"Thinking about someone" Noel sighed and let out a sad look.

"Who is it?" he asked curiously.

"My younger brother" Noel said with his head down, "he was a year younger than me. He really liked swimming, we often come here together."

"Then?"

Noel stopped for a second, then said "four years ago, as usual, we went swimming here. While I was in the bathroom, he jumped in the water first, and that led him drowning. When I came out, he was already dead."

He noticed that Noel was crying.

He peaked at the painting, then patted him on the back.

He didn't know how to comfort Noel. Seeing him so upset, made him sad too.

" From that day on, I never came back here. When I came back, was the first we were here. That time, I saw my brother, he's still here."

"Your brother's still here?" he said, shocked.

Noel said as he inhaled "I.... can see ghosts"
