Can I Have Your Number?

Han Ji-ae grabbed Suzy's wrist and pulled her towards the bathroom in the VIP room. Just before reaching the bathroom she give Suzy some quick instructions.

"I am going to sign you out of the hospital, wash up and then well leave. Here, take this as well, I got it from the nurse it's your dress from the other day, I'll be back." She then ran off to follow up with her plan.

They both afterwards headed out the hospital and took a taxi to Times Square Mall.

.....

"Wanna grab some coffee before we actually start shopping? Also we are getting you a hair cut too!" Ji-ae spoke up as the two friends got off the taxi.

"Sure, but I don't know how I feel about getting a hair...I like my hair long!"

"Stop whining!" Ji-ae said as she nudge Suzy's shoulder.

They both then walked inside one of Time Square's most valued and high end coffee shops, Ancient Café. The two claimed a spot next to a window that give them a beautiful view of the a water fountain outside, as well as the view of the outdoors. The store was spotless and was built with ancient Korean woodwork on the walls. Particularly the window give off a similar vibe of ancient Korean woodwork. The shop itself consisted of a top and bottom floor. Suzy was still looking around when she noticed the waitress had walked towards them. A gentle smile was on the waitress's face, a pen and a notebook on her hand.

"What would you guys like to order?"

"Two cups of latte and one slice of cream cheese cake."

"Alright, is that all?"

"Yes, thank you."

The waitress grabbed them their order after about five minutes, placed it in front of them and then walked off to the next group of people to their right.

"Ugh, I love the coffee here! It's always so good!" Ji-ae sighed as she took a sip from the hot drink.

"We used to come here so often back when we were in university, ugh, good times." Suzy smiled at Ji-ae and then proceeded to make her attack on the cream cheese cake in front of her. After scooping up a large enough piece onto her fork she place it into her mouth, savouring the taste "it's so good" she covered her mouth with her hand and giggled.

"Hey don't finish..." before Ji-ae could get the chance to scold her best friend a man walked into their view and stood in front of them.

"Excuse me, do you mind if I ask, if I can have your number ma'am?" The guy was tall, he had fair skin, dark hair, and thick eyebrows. He was wear a white t-shirt with black pantsuit. He smiled at the two friends and then turned his head towards Suzy.

Suzy was blink, her brain started spinning. She stared back at the man in front of her, she had no idea what to say. Was she ready for this? Did she want to be broken again? As a matter of fact she wasn't even truly over that jerk, Park Young.

The man lowered his gaze, placed the palms of his hands on the table and then turned his head towards Suzy. Now they were facing each other, his eyes were directly staring at her and waiting for an answer.

"Uhmm.." Ji-ae was about to say something again when he already cut her off, giving her no chance to stop him.

"I saw you when you walked into the store, I wanted to say that you're very pretty and if you could give me a chance to get to know you...maybe we could..." Now he was cut off, which frankly made Ji-ae happy as she was cut off two times by him.

A familiar scent flew through Suzy, she could recall his deep voice and that familiar watch on his wrist....was it that man, again?
