My Spirit

After yesterday's rain storm, the skies finally cleared up. The sun brought back the warmth that

was taken away by yesterday's rain.

Rumbling sounds came from Jason's room as Jason was too excited, he tripped over himself as

he was getting dressed.

Rushing out of his room. He came to the dining room to eat his meal.

His mom called out to him "Jason why are you in such a rush today?" she said as she was

preparing his food.

And as usual his dad was already at the dining table reading the news.

"Today is the day we get to know what spirit dwells within us." said Jason as he was eating what

was already on the table.

"Oh, so you are already of age. Just remember don't fret on what your spirit is, as in that all

spirits have it's uses and can reach the top and that whatever spirit you manifest we will support

you no matter what." said his father

It was just as his father has said even one of the fourth heroes of humanity was originally

thought to have been useless as his spirit was just a pebble rock. But through the continuous

evolution of his spirit is now able to manifest with the power rivaling a high speed asteroid. It is

also said that due to the innate ability given by his spirit he has the highest defense in all of

humanity.

As to why it is only now that Jason is getting his spirit? It is because many more test has been

conducted since the discovery of spirits. Not only does a spirit grants an ability to transform, it

also bestows an innate ability befitting of it self.

It was also discovered that only when people are between the ages 12-13 begins to manifest

their own spirits. It is said that the spirits they get is the accumulation of their life experiences

and what they valued. That is why spirits are so diverse and are all only things from human

imagination and creation.

So most people have a general understanding of what their spirits can do.

As for his father and mother, his father's spirit is a first aid kit, his innate ability is healing and as

for his transformation was really minor that his ear changes to something like an elf ear. Able

hear the condition of anyone crystal clear.

It was the reason for his house also being a clinic.

As for his mother, her spirit was actually a water cleanser. She is able to produce water from her

hand and her transformation transform her hands into a liquid form that can cleanse and purify.

The reason why they aren't actively trying to evolve their spirits and gain a longer life is because

that requires going to the "Land of the Gods" and that in itself has its own dangers.

As Jason was just about to finish his meal he heard yelling coming from outside the window. It

was Wing.

"Hey Jason, hurry up or you will be late." said Wing as he cup his hands together like an

amplifier.

His mom asked with a smile on her mouth "Jason, Who is that?"

"My friend Wing. He is the first friend I made in school. Ok mom, I go to get going now. Later

dad." said Jason

As he was heading downstairs he met up with Wing.

"Let's get going already." said Wing

"I have never seen you this early before!" said Jason laughing

"I don't want to be late." said Wing

"Ok, Ok Let's get moving." said Jason as he ran off without him

The whole grade, of their year was already at the school, some of the kids had anxious looks on

their faces, some filled with excitement, while others try to pretend not to care.

They were all waiting in line to get into school to get tested.

"NOOOOOO, I thought being here 30 minutes early that I would be first in line." said Wing as he

was in shock

"Then we shouldn't have been in such a hurry to get here." said Jason

"I could have slept for an extra 30 minutes!" said Wing

"No, you would have been late." said Jason shaking his head

The testing has begun.

"It might be awhile until it is our turn to get tested. It might even take them the whole day to test

everyone." said Jason

It was no longer needed to go to the "Land of the Gods" for your spirit to be determined. Since

the time of discovery, they have developed a technology that uses material from the "Land of

the Gods" that can activate your dormant spirit here in this universe. Actually the thing that takes

the most time is not manifesting the spirit in each and every body but the recording of it.

A series of tests would be conducted, to test your innate ability and transformation. Though it

doesn't really determine your success, it does help determine your direction. A name will be

given at the end for your spirit in, which you can choose for yourselves if so desired.

Even though, spirits can be very diverse but in reality many people had really similar spirits.

Such as fire, water, plants, and animals. Success is determined by how far you can travel

through the "Land of the Gods" but some do have an easier time than others.

There have been special spirit cases such as the manifestation of a magic wand. Their

transform transformed them in a witch that can use multiple elements but it was still all within

reason as the amount of power they can use still reflected their current evolution stage.

As the two were waiting in line they heard people screaming in happiness and some people

walked by them with disappointment.

The sun was still high up in the sky. It was soon their turn. Wing was going to go first.

"I am starting to get nervous." said Wing

"I am sure whatever you end up with it will be a wonderful spirit." said Jason

"I certainly hope so." said Wing

Then a name was called.

"Wing you are up next." said a tester

"I hope you get what you want. Good Luck!" said Jason

After a few minutes Jason suddenly heard a scream it was Wing.

"Looks like he got what he wanted." thought Jason as he waited for him.

Not to long after Wing came out of the testing area.

He was jumping up and down. Showing off what spirit he got.

"Look at my spirit it is Wings." Wing said as he pointed at his back

He looked like an angel, one from the books that he has read in the past, an angel with red hair.

"Let me guess, your innate ability is to manipulate the wind and your transformation allows you

to fly." said Jason

"How did you know?" said Wing

"What do you mean how do I know? It couldn't have been that hard to guess could it. It is my

turn now." said Jason as he was called.

He entered the testing area.

Jason was told to enter a giant rectangular platform with complex engravings. On each corner of

the platform was a rod made of unknown materials to Jason presumably from the "Land of the

Gods".

The platform suddenly started to glow. The area around the platform started changing. It was

mimicking the environment of the "Land of the Gods".

As all of this was completed. The tester started talking about how to bring out his spirit. He was

told to hold his hands out in front of him and imagine a ball of light coming out from within him

from his chest.

His spirit was starting to manifest itself.

When everything finally stopped glowing. He finally was able to see what his spirit was.

"What spirit type of spirit is this?" said Jason in a surprise because it was a never before seen

spirit before

Several tester gathered around him looking at his spirit.

"It looks a lot like the student himself." said one of the testers

"The difference being that the spirit has yellowish/golden eyes" said another tester

They were confused by what might be his innate ability be. When asked do you feel any

difference?

Jason said "I don't feel anything different."

"Well, we will get a clearer idea once he transforms." said one of the testers

They agreed.

"How do you transform?" asked Jason

They then taught him that to transform is to express what you might think represent.

The testers then stepped away from the platform ready to observe.

As he brought back in his spirit and closed his eyes. He started feeling something has changed

about him.

He then opened his eyes again. As soon as he opened his eyes he gave off a certain sense of

pressure to the testers.

The testers all started feeling something similar.

"Why do I suddenly have the urge to bow to him?" they all thought, but shrugged it off almost

immediate

The only real differences they notice about Jason was that his sky blue eyes now contains a tint

of yellow/gold and that his pupils have become like those of a star shining in the sky.

One of them asked if his eyes do anything else beside what he was used to seeing.

Jason told them "I feel like I can see everything better and clearly, that is about it."

"Lets go conduct some addition test." said one of the testers

After another series of tests, they discovered that his overall physique,mind, and reaction times

has increased significantly, a few times over when he wasn't transformed. Even though they still

didn't know what his innate ability was.

They all concluded it was most likely a strengthening ability.

After everything was done it was time to choose a name for this spirit of his that looked a lot like

him.

Jason decided to name it himself.

"I will call it "Soul Spirit" said Jason as it looked like a manifestation of himself
