Angry Mr. Henning

Even before the day could end another storm brew together. That storm in the form of a very angry Mr. Henning (Sr.). He strode right into the hall not minding anyone or the receptionist who tried to hold him up. His man going left and right of him glaring everyone down who even dared to come closer. The whole group of him went up to the elevator straight to Eira´s office.

Helen saw them coming but froze immediately at the sight of the angry Mr. Henning. Still, she took all her courage and stepped in between them.

"Hello, Mr. Henning. What brings you here?" She feebly said.

He didn´t answer her but just looked past her and went straight into Eira´s office.

Eira was busy signing off some documents and didn´t notice someone enter until Mr. Henning already stood in front of her. His shadow looming over her dangerously. She looked up and gasped.

"Mr. Henning! Why are you here?" She asked him while getting her cool back.

He looked at her sinisterly and then walked to the lounge sitting down.

"I have to talk to you, Miss Morgan. Sit down." He commanded.

Eira breathed in and out to calm herself.

What is he thinking coming into her office without notice and commanding, demanding her to sit down in her own office? Like father like son huh?

She sat comfortably down and looked at him.

"Well, what do you have to say to me that you came in this sudden?" She asked calmly.

Mr. Henning also sat comfortable and stared at her.

"It´s about my son. I want you to terminate the working contract with him." He demanded.

"And why should I do that?" Eira countered without batting with an eyelash.

"He is MY son. And he is NOT going to work for someone like you. Not in this small company. He is the heir of Henning Corp." Mr. Henning glared daggers at her trying to make her submit.

This game Eira knew how to play.

She smiled lightly when she answered him.

"Mr. Henning. I know that he is your son. But YOUR son signed this contract on his own will. He participated in his own in the cooking competition and won it. Why should I terminate a contract without valid reasons?"

"Aren´t you aware of the media. Do you know what they are saying? They are calling you an evil seductress. A mistress. My son´s reputation is getting caught up in your horrible business." He fumed. His face had started to turn red.

Eira crossed her legs while facing him and smiling.

"Mr. Henning. I am the CEO of this horrible business. If you don´t want to have anything to do with me just stay away. You should talk to your son not with me about his choice of workplace. I think this conversation is very much pointless and I am sure we both have more important work to do than sit here and chat."

"You are just like your father. Thick headed and stupid. Don´t mess with me. I´ll get my son out of here." Mr. Henning declared and stood up. He let his man surround him again and walked out of her office.

Eira didn´t stand up but just sat in her chair smiling while looking at his retreating back. When the door to her office closed she breathed out.

"Puh, that was exhausting. What in the whole world has he against me? What is his problem." She thought to herself.

She stood up and went outside her office to see a petrified Helen standing at her desk.

"Helen." She called her but no answer.

"Hello? Helen?" She waved her hand in front of her face. That snapped her back to reality.

"Ehhh yes, Miss Morgan?" Helen finally answered.

"Let the security know that a crazy CEO is running amok here. They should deal with him with care but if there is no other way they can kick him out on my order. Got it?" She instructed her.

Helen nodded and immediately called the security given Eira´s order to them.

Meanwhile, Mr. Henning had called his son to meet him. George reluctantly agreed and went down the basement to meet his father in the entry hall.

"Father, what do you need?" George asked him immediately when he arrived.

"Quit your job here. That is an embarrassment to the whole family." Mr. Henning demanded.

"Can´t. I´ve signed the work contract today."

"Don´t try to fool me. You can always quit. So quit if I say so."

"I am sorry father but I won´t," George said.

"I already told you not to get involved with that woman. Come back and I let you work in the company again." Mr. Henning tried to persuade him.

George snorted hearing that.

"Oh really? Can I be the CEO again? You know. You shouldn´t be a control freak like this. Because you can´t control everything, including me." George retorted.

"You insolent brat. Won´t you listen to your own father? You even tried to hide from me? You are nothing without me. Working at this measle company makes you the slave of this woman. Do you really want that?" Mr. Henning fumed.

"At least I am getting fair treatment. And of top of that, my boss is at least pretty." George smirked.

That statement pushed the last buttons of Mr. Henning. He was in a rage. He slapped George right across the face making a huge slapping noise. The people around them looked at them in surprise.

George´s face became red but he didn´t even wince. He looked at his father´s face with nothing but coldness.

"You want me to listen to you. Be your son? But all you do is making me into your puppet. Now that you don´t have me under your control you are using violence. This will just end with either you kill me or I kill myself." George slowly said. Letting every word hammer into Mr. Henning with a force he never knew he had. All the pent up frustration had gone into his speech.

Mr. Henning just snorted at that.

"Yeah sure sure. Quit acting and leave this company right now." Mr. Henning ordered.

George didn´t listen and just walked away.

"I am sorry father. I won´t do as you say. Have a good evening." He said and walked to the elevator to go back to work.

Mr. Henning saw that people were watching them so he turned around and went back.

There is no point to embarrass yourself in front of these peasants. He will get his son later.
