Two days passed by. I occationally went downstairs. Reyan used to bring food to my workstation. I slept most of the time, refusing to engage in any activity. I gave up on plotting to escape from their capture. They are powerful beyond my imagination. I lessened talking to mom as I couldn't manage to make up stories about my stay. Dad rarely called. He would mostly get all the information from mom.

Once my leg was healed enough for me to walk confortably, I went downstairs to see what they are up to. Kenny hasn't visited since then.

Reyan sat on couch reading the latest news. I sat on the sofa next to his.

"Want to say something?" ---- His unwavering voice never fails to terrify me ----

"N.. No. I don't see Kenny nowadays. Is he alright?"

---- He stopped looking at his laptop and frowned ----

"Don't beat around the bush. Come straight to the point."

"Okay. I don't plan on fleeing from here."

---- With a stern face ---- "Good"

"Where is Sarah by the way? She was mad the last time I saw her." ---- I was trying to drag the conversation. I know Reyan fired her. ----

"She won't be back."

"Okay." ----- I stayed calm for a while till Reyan finally got up to leave for work. -----

"if you don't have anything to say, I'll excuse myself."

"When will you be back tonight?"

"Why ? are you trying to escape again?"

"No. I am sick of staying indoors. You even disabled the internet."

"Okay, so you are bored. We haven't played since the last time you misbehaved."

---- Does he mean torturing me again.. if that is what he meant, then I better say something by which he would not proceed ----

"I won't stop you." ---- I hung my head low to avoid any eye contact ----

"Where do you want to go?"

"Any isolated beach."

"Isolated? You don't have a dirty mind. Do you?"

"I hate watching people."

"Whatever. I'll call you before I return."

Honestly I wasn't excited. I just wanted to go somewhere besides this suffocating place. Water seems to be the best destination for now. Lying down all day was irritating. May be this beast would be different in public places.
