"Sarah!" ---- Reyan frowned his eyes as he loosened Sarah's grip ----

I had lost hope in this life of mine. I am usually not a weak person. But I cannot come up with another method to deceive these people. They even have connections with the police.

"Thanks for your help Mr. Grey." ---- Kenny thanked the cop who brought me ----

Reyan witnessed my guise, reaching his arm grabbing mine. I averted swiftly.

"I give up." ---- I said as I walked out of the cubicle. ----

Limping slowly, I saw a bench inside the office and sat on it. Resting my elbows on my thighs I hung my head low, knowing that no one can help me now.

"Let's go home Annie. Reyan is already furious." ---- Kenny sat next to me on the bench and talked to me gently ----

"I have no choice. Wait until my legs feel better."

"This is not the place to rest" ---- Reyan wrapped his jacket around my waist and carried me to the car ----

When we reached home, I was expecting Sarah and Reyan to be agitated. But Reyan stayed calm. Kenny was upset. The one person who could potentially help me was disappointed in me again.

Reyan sat on the couch, along with Kenny. I stood in front of them like a student would when she didn't perform well on tests. Sarah expressed her fury at the station.

Slap! "You had the guts to poison our people. How shameless!"

I covered my cheek with my hand as I saw Kenny approaching me.

"Stop it Sarah. You have reached your limits."

Reyan got up and took me to my room. He did my first aid. He didn't speak a word while cleansing my wounds. I could faintly hear that Kenny and Sarah were yelling at each other. Once he was done and about to leave, I tugged his shirt.

"I am not sure about what you plan on doing to me. But if you want to kill me let me know, I'll have a last talk with my family. I don't want them to be affected because of me."

"You want to leave that badly, that you are okay will dying?"

"Tell them that I met with an accident and that my body could not be found."

"I haven't seen Kenny fight with us for a stranger."

"He said he'll be my brother."

"Didn't you want a brother?"

"How do you know so much about me?"

"We have been tailing you since the day I saw you for the first time."

That was so long back. Why did they have to do that? I was not a very important person in any sector.

"There are a lot of girls who might look like the one you are trying to protect. Why did you choose me?"

"You stood out among your sisters."

"Right. My sisters are precious even to strangers. Its just my fate."

He frowned and walked out. I realized he left his jacket , so I slowly tried to follow him, with my leg still aching like hell. I peeked at the living room from upstairs. Reyan walked down the stairs like a beast.

" What is her problem baby, and why are you being kind to her?" ---- Sarah still hasn't calmed down.

"You are fired Sarah. You can leave now. You don't have to come to our firm tomorrow. You'll be notified via email."

"Fire.. fired? But why? What did that tramp talk to you about exactly."

"Leave Sarah. I've been wanting to get rid of you so badly. You made it easy."

"Never touch what's mine.." ---he paused for a while ---- ". . baby. ."
