"Gab freaked out when Mavislin went into the lab and came out with the mad person, struggling within her grasp. To be more specific, they had split up and Gab found Mavislin only after she had the literal wind out of everyone in the room. They were in protective gear."
"And she walked right in, with a casual dress that she liked to move around in, to drag everyone out. With or without bruises. That was when he knew that Mages could tolerate different amounts of poison levels. Do you remember that?" asked Tomoe, looking at Mavislin.
"Yes. It was the 'Apple Mission', where Gab reported that there was an apple shortage throughout Albion. I had been in that place for a few hours, trying to interrogate everyone in there. But not before I knocked them out and tied them together."
"You should have been dead, ten times over. That is if you were a human. So, I'm telling the Headmaster and Sir Noble, you are dealing with an Aki and Bahamut baby. The child could take even longer to develop or shorter. No one knows unless you've done it before."
"And I'm sure Akis has a higher poison tolerance than humans, right? But I don't know if it is comparable to the Valkyries' tolerance or on a league of its own," asked Tomoe, directing his questions to Gillian.
"The Valkyrie's possess a body mass similar to a Bahamut. Our poison tolerance level is higher than a Bahamut and Valkyrie combined. That's why it was so hard for me to understand or learn about poisons. Because I couldn't tell which poison could cause death in an instant or just pain for a bit."
"Whether it kills you within a day or a year. The reason is that we don't have a physical appearance. I copied this appearance from one of the humans when I first came here. We can change into anything we want, so we do not have a definite body mass."
"In short, I could drink Mercury and concentrated juice made out of Atropa Bella Donna berries for dinner and still go swim in a swamp in the next Domain."
"Then I think you won't have a problem with the kid being poisoned anymore. I highly doubt that it was poisoned in the first place. It might just be the kid getting confused and affected by being a hybrid of a Bahamut and Aki. The gestation period might be different as well."
"Akis has no gestation period. Akis can live almost as old as the stars or galaxies. We started with twenty, passing down our powers and creating life within our power and Element. We were lonely and created some characters like us but none of them was the real thing."
"I am from the twenty that started and so was Old Man Pond. I had many 'children' and 'offspring. Because we couldn't live alone in loneliness anymore. But these kids weren't like us, they didn't have as much power as we did. In the end, we were overwhelmed by the Husks."
"And now, we are left with two. If the child can wield the power of both Aki and Bahamut, it would be a force to be reckoned with. That child might end up splitting the planet into two if that's the case. But I want to have a child with Ysabeau, despite the risks."
"Even if you have no clue what you'll be dealing with?" asked Tomoe, with eyes as fierce as a lion.
If looks could kill, then Gillian's glare to Tomoe would be enough to kill a thousand men.
"Yes, tyhat's what I will do for the woman I loved for so long. To give her the child that she wants and misses so much. Even it's impossible, I'll find a way to make it possible."
"Ah... The thing we do for love...Wonder when will I get my turn," said Z, smiling at the Headmaster.
"So... do I still have to take care of myself? You want me to stay in for the rest of this pregnancy?" asked Ysabeau.
"It would be best if you stay in. That way, Baldwin and I can monitor you. But of course, if you want to spread your wings for a bit, you may go ahead. I don't like locking my wife in the Old Chapel. And I can't do that as well," replied Gillian.
"Well, that's very considerate of you, to think about what your wife wants, not only satisfying her needs," said Bryan, looking impressed the Headmaster would allow Ysabeau to have a choice.
When he gained his memories back, Bryan noticed that pregnant women weren't allowed out of the house or even seen for a few good months. Mages have a vastly different way of thinking about treating pregnant ladies.
