"No, I don't want to lock my wife up in a building because I am worried she'll eat me. The last time we had to take Bahamuts as prisoners back at Akhaten, the Bahamut ate our guards and the building that housed them. I am not taking any risks with that. And another thing."
"The Old Chapel would physically run away if there was an angry Bahamut within its walls. That's why I try to keep the women of the household tamed, fed, and happy," explained Gillian, sighing.
"The Valkyrie hates being on empty stomach, the Bahamut hates when people fight at the dining table and the Old Chapel hates when the females are upset. You've got your work cut out for you, Headmaster," teased Baldwin, shaking his head.
"And on that note, I will ask my question again. Does anyone have any objections to me taking a rest for a month?" asked Baldwin.
"None from our side. We are glad that you've offered us help but I insist on letting us pull this off. I have full confidence in my Enhancement Skills to pull it off. But thanks, I think we would need you to care for the kids as well," replied Mavislin, smiling at Baldwin.
"Hmph. Just don't blow yourselves up."
"Well then, let's finish our breakfast up and get along with our week's list. I would be at my Study now if anyone needs me. Meeting's dismissed," announced Gillian, standing up to clear his plates.
"Well, I'm getting used to this type of cooking and foods. The breakfast was fantastic! I could swim across the globe after this meal," said Z, happily gobbling up the slices of bacon.
"Make sure you don't eat too much. You're already fat as it is. You don't have to get bigger, or else the Old Chapel has to change the door's size," commented Baldwin, getting up after finishing his toast and eggs.
"Well, someone's having a grand start of the day today," said Raiyen, looking at Z.
"If I were to jump from your level of sarcasm to your skill level as a Time Mage, I would be committing suicide," spat Baldwin, turning to look at the Time Mage.
"Aww... Someone can't take a joke today..."
They made faces at the Angry Man while his back was turned. Rina was happily trying to get Kai to eat his breakfast, which was scrambled eggs with white bread, untoasted. Clement had precut all of his bread. Kai seemed to love the scrambled eggs but not so much for the bread.
Mavislin turned into a child once more to play with Kai and Rina during this morning's breakfast. Kai looked confused at first since he was used to seeing the Valkyrie in her mature form. But the two children loved each other's company as they exchanged food.
Rina seemed very happy to be eating leaves, leaving Mavislin confused at the Butterfly Girl. After the mess and havoc of two kids at the table, Mavislin grew back to her adult form and asked for Raiyen, who was busy washing the dishes.
"Even if I sounded so confident earlier and with Gillian yesterday, I still have some doubts that I can't pull this spell off..." murmured Raiyen, as he washed the dishes.
"I've never met my father properly but I know that he was a Time Mage bathe din limelight from the Time that I was born in. And he created most of the tricks that Time Mages use, to change the entire use of Time Magecraft. I don't know if I have that in me, that power to do it."
"Well, you promised me that you would at least try. Even if you couldn't, I would still be happy and contented that you tried. It's better than not going anything at all. But of course, I would prefer that the spell works. And don't worry," said the Valkyrie, walking towards her partner.
Mavislin wrapped her arms around the Time Boy, causing him to jump, nearly dropping the bowl that he was washing.
"I'll be right beside you to support you. We will pull this spell off. Just like how we did all those missions before. It's just another small obstacle, nothing that we can't handle, right?" asked Mavislin, smiling at Raiyen.
Raiyen nodded and Mavislin walked back to her original spot.
"After you've done, we're heading out. Now, would you like to walk or travel via my Familiar? Or shall we borrow Fluffy?" asked Mavislin, smiling at Raiyen.
"You know I hate riding on that Behemoth. I'd much rather crawl than to take that thing for a spin," spat Raiyen, shaking his head at the grinning Valkyrie.
"How about using my Familiar instead? You haven't been on mine yet," suggested Mavislin, as Raiyen placed the final washed dishes to their rightful places.
