The Ark Of Seventh Frame: Roars Of Kur, Move That Holy Mountain!

"And I have a bad feeling Duncan will use that attack that had the power to take down an entire top of a sacred mountain. So no, Rina isn't going to come out alive if we don't stop the boy now," explained Tomoe, staring at Mavislin with desperation.

And since when did a Kitsune become well-rounded with Mesopotamian Mythology? Mavislin found it odd that those two knew about the Mistress of Kur.

"I'll be the judge of that. Do not fret. When push comes to shove, I will be the one who handles the consequences," noted the Valkyrie, waiting for the right moment to stop the spell.

Mavislin knew that if she were to dive in now, she wouldn't see Duncan's full capability of calling upon a deity for help. Plus, looking at how that shockwave blasted Rina away, Mavislin would highly doubt negating the spell at this point would be possible.

She needed to wait for a window where it was at its weakest stage during the spell, just like how she thought Midori to find that silence before the bombs go off. The Valkyrie's hands glowed with a tinge of blue light, which only Circe noticed.

"Seventh Frame: Roars Of Kur, Move That Holy Mountain!" yelled Duncan, as cracks began to form all around the terrain.

From the cracks of the black dirt sprouted sharp rocks that tried to pierce and stab the Flower Mage. The Butterfly Girl attempted to fly out of the way from the death-inducing rocks but found that she couldn't be airborne. It was as if her wings did not work in the new area anymore.

The Flower Mage panicked as she felt the ground begin to shake uncontrollably. Duncan stood right in the middle as sharp rocks sprang out everywhere. Blue flames erupted out of nowhere and soon engulfed the boy. The Flower Mage tried reaching out for Duncan, but...

The children, Raiyen and Tomoe, had the scare of their lives as Mavislin's Elemental Aura erupted out of nowhere.

"I didn't expect him to use that move, and I was hoping Duncan would only rely on the power of the souls that worked for Ereshkigal and not the spell that destroyed Ekur, the Sacred Mountain. And that move should be only used against multiple targets, not a single enemy," said Tomoe.

"The Old Chapel isn't altering the arena. Someone else is controlling that pit down there," explained Mavislin, as a rich blue of Elemental Aura engulfed her figure.

The Valkyrie released her wings to reveal blue and aquamarine feathers.

Before Rina could get injured, Mavislin dived down and released another spell to counteract with Duncan's Seventh Frame.

"All waves rise and become my shield... Lord Atlantia!" shouted Mavislin as her infamous mirage shield of Atlantis slammed down into the blackened soil.

The moment the shield stabbed the ground, a ripple of bright blue engulfed the area and forced the pit to resurface onto the main level as the rest of the group. As Duncan's appearance reverted to his standard form, Rina collapsed onto her knees. He then sighed and walked up to Mavislin.

Meanwhile, Raiyen glitched towards Rina to see if she had sustained injuries. Luckily, only slight bruises and exhaustion affected the Flower Mage. The Time Mage stayed with the Butterfly Girl, assuring her that she was safe and not going to die.

"How about Duncan? Where is he? Did he get injured?" asked Rina, unloading several questions onto the Time Boy.

"After an attack like that, where your soul could have been trapped in the grounds of Kur... You've got the strength to ask where Duncan is. That mad lad is doing better than you, Lady Rina," said Tomoe, smiling at Rina.

"Mad... Lad?"

Raiyen glared at Tomoe before the group of kids rushed to Rina's side.

"Don't go around using the words you heard in my head. You're going to scare people within this time," scolded Raiyen.

"Like how you scare girls away with your face?" asked Tomoe.

"And since when did you learn to defy me like that? I ought to have a leash on you, fox!" argued Raiyen.

"Since you kicked me out of the Old Chapel, Time Boy. I'm not afraid of any Mage, so what makes you think a threat could affect me?"

"Shall I ask my girlfriend to threaten you then? If I may recall, Mavislin is one of the Founders as well. So you're saying that you're not scared of her?"

"Yes, I'm not scared of that Valkyrie. I respect her. Learn to know the difference, and you'll find that you'll have an easier time dealing with me."

"If these kids weren't here, I swear to god I would've used your face to drill you to the planet's center!"

"I highly doubt you can do so with those scrawny arms."
