The Ark Of Respect To Girls

The Slayer's eyes widened as he looked up to see Rina's drenched top. In seconds, the Valkyrie had never seen a person's face go from white to red. Mavislin could not help but laugh at Bryan's beetroot face before Tomoe went up to his partner to smack the back of his head.

The Butterfly Girl instantly conjured her battle armor which was the same outfit she wore during the fight in Albion. Bryan thought he would meet God right then, so he threw up his shield constellation to defend himself against Rina's wrath.

But to his surprise, the Flower Mage merely got on with changing the girls into their tunics. Bryan was confused about why Rina hadn't punched him in the face yet.

"My battle armor isn't always for fighting, you know. And I don't think you are a bad person, so I do not mind it," explained Rina.

Bryan sighed with relief as Mavislin walked towards him with the fully clothed Duncan and Amani.

"Hmm... You seem to have quite a nice bottom for a small fry like you," joked Tomoe, checking Rina out.

Raiyen gave a divine thwack to his Familiar, which caused Tomoe to yelp in pain.

"Ouch! What was that for?!" shouted Tomoe, with murder in his eyes.

"That's for making crude remarks to young girls!" yelled Raiyen, angered at Tomoe's words.

"Uhm... I'm not-"

"It's not crude! I was saying that she has a good body! Young girls should be complimented to give them confidence, so I was doing just that! So why'd you need to hit me for?!" argued Tomoe, as he interrupted Rina's sentence.

"That's awful to say to females! No wonder you haven't found a girl yet! I should teach you some manners about treating young girls with respect. Honestly, you are so creepy at times!" shouted Raiyen.

Mavislin could swear that she heard Rina's patience snapping as the Flower Mage raised her voice.

"I'M NOT A YOUNG GIRL!" roared the Butterfly Girl, glaring at the two men.

Tomoe and Raiyen had never thought that a small girl like Rina would have the potential to yell so loudly.

"Huh?" chimed the two boys.

"I was a mother for crying out loud! And I'm not some little girl that needs your compliments or protection! I'm older than Bryan!" shouted Rina, pouting at the two men.

A moment of silence occurred between the three as Mavislin shook her head. The children were scared of Rina's shouting voice, so they hid behind the Valkyrie.

"You see, kids, this is why you should treat everyone with respect. So don't make snarky remarks about anyone's bodies, or I'll smack your little bottoms, alright?" asked the Valkyrie with a bright smile.

The children nodded in unison as Rina rushed towards Bryan to hide her blushing angry face.

"Children, follow Raiyen and Tomoe to the Old Chapel for dinner. Clement's done with the dinner so that you can sit at the dinner table first. As for you, Bryan, let's hear what you've found out from your investigation," said the Valkyrie, shooing the children away.

Raiyen wanted to join in their conversation but was dragged off by Tomoe.

"So, what have you found about the incidents? I thought it would be a small errand, but it sounds like a Major Mission. And we've just finished Albion's Mission. I didn't expect to go on another one so soon," asked Mavislin.

"A Major Mission?" quizzed Bryan.

"Oh, that's right! I haven't told you about the Board Missions yet. When you join the Arks as a working member, you have to go on missions to prove that you are active within the organization. You need to go on several monthly missions to earn your keeps and stay in the Arks."

"To be more specific, two Major or four Minor Missions every month unless you are at bed rest after injuring yourself. Major Missions are the ones like the Umbra and Infinite Experiments Missions. Minor Missions would be like going to a village to patrol or be on the watch out for areas."

Bryan nodded and proceeded to talk about his findings. And the Slayer was glad that Z took his precious time from napping to help with the research. Albeit in a slightly grumpy manner.

"Well, it's three problems simultaneously, but I'm not sure if they are all connected. The first one is about the incident you've asked me to research at Briton's Prisoners' Den. There seems to be unforeseen construction at the hill at the back of the district."

"When I confronted Li Ling about it, the Viscountess claimed that someone had bought that plot of land years ago and only started doing something to it recently. She found it odd, but the building looks like a giant mansion. I've got some images I saved in Z's system."
