"In the end, I took off with my stuff and arrived at Albion a month later. Unfortunately, that kick cost me two broken ribs that took so long to heal that I seriously considered suicide. And the added fact that the grin he gave me a lifetime of nightmares," finished Clement.
The man Clement described was the same as the man in the profile in front of them. The Valkyrie was stunned before offering a look of solemness and pity for what the chef had gone through. Though he may be young, Clement's eyes have seen more than an average human.
Mavislin stood up and walked up to Clement with saddened eyes. But the Valkyrie wasn't crying as she rummaged her sleeves for a miniature painting of two children. As Mavislin took it out, Clement gasped as she passed it to Clement to see.
"Yan asked me to paint these kids' pictures out so he could put up a memorial in his mansion back in the Teuton Domain. But, unfortunately, he couldn't recover the bodies, and despite how much we looked, we couldn't find them either. So this picture was a rough sketch, but you can keep it."
"Are those your girls?"
Clement nodded as he took the picture with quivering hands and tears falling down his cheeks. Mavislin gave the man a gentle pat on the shoulder while Rina tried her best not to cry.
"Their names were Ciel and Cordelia, known as the Scarlet Twins. If it's any comfort to you, they were the ones who taught Yan how to survive in the streets and helped him to kill the nasty people that were after him. Yan also taught them how to fight."
"Without them, Yan would've never survived until Ashley came along and put them down. This was in the past, but Yan kept finding their families to try and thank them. But he could never find anyone who could claim to know these twins. Until you came along, Clement," explained Mavislin.
Clement wiped his eyes with his sleeves before keeping the picture in his pocket. Baldwin then stood up and placed another hand on Clement's other shoulder.
"If Mavislin permits you. I can bring you along for my task to Teuton for you to see the memorial Earl Yan had put up in memory of the twins. It's quite the sight to see, as Mavislin, Minwoo, and Yan took the time to create it over a week. Would you like to see it?" asked Baldwin.
The Valkyrie nodded as Clement took in a deep breath before nodding. The Old Chapel then prepared a chair for the poor griefing father to sit on.
"I don't mean to pry, but was this Rapid Dog guy roaming around the streets freely during that time? Or was it unusual to meet him at broad daylight?" asked Z, raising his hand slowly.
"That man did regular patrols around the streets and conducted random raids on unsuspecting people trying their best to earn a living. But from what I know and what happened to me, he had a habit of stealing newborns. At first, he would always blame it on climate change."
"His reasons weren't too out of this world since Teuton has got some crazy weather forecasts and human newborns were dying left, right and center all the time. And disease was rampant in that area, so it shouldn't be that much of a shock. But I knew damn well my twins were alive."
"And judging by the reports of recent days, that Rapid Dog hasn't changed one bit in his abduction methods. The last I've heard from my sources before I moved here was that he killed the parents of newborns and claimed the babies as 'Orphans' to adopt them. He was doing so for a few months."
"That's when he started the Orphanage. However, you can't find that 'Orphanage' because it's disguised as another property in the 12th province, and his last known whereabouts would be in the 42nd province. Because of the tunnels, he could travel so fast within such a short period."
"And lucky for you, I know those tunnels like the back of my head. So, as a small thanks, I can give you the information you need to find this dog and put him down for good," replied Clement, placing his hand on the Map Crystal.
A giant map of colored lines on the surface of the picture of the Teuton Domain popped out into everyone's vision. The tunnels were all over the place, connecting to every province of the Domain. Baldwin glanced at Clement and nodded.
"If Mavislin doesn't mind, shall I take the chef for a vacation to the Teuton Domain?" asked Baldwin.
The Valkyrie was stunned for words as the whole room gazed at her.
