The Ark Of Minwoo In Euphoria

As Ashley thought back, he did tap into the physical world using Mavislin's eyes, and there seems to be some conflict going around the Five Domains. The Arks called it the Umbra Missions, and Ashley had been 'watching' it unfold for the past couple of days.

However, because of the time difference between the real world and Euphoria, Ashley was caught off guard that his brother would visit him since it took the guy months to arrive.

"It's only been a year for you? I must've hit my head or something, " muttered Ashley, looking away from his elder brother.

"Are you going to let me in? Or am I going to build a house beside you?" asked the impatient White Rat.

"Nah, I prefer that the trees of this place get left alone. I've got to clean up the mess, but help yourself to those cookies on the coffee table," said Ashley, letting Minwoo into the house.

It was about another year when Minwoo decided to ask the stickman to go back to the physical world. Mavislin, after nearly dying, had unlocked something in Euphoria. Minwoo and Ashley felt the change almost a year after Minwoo's arrival.

The two brothers switched to the Valkyrie's sight to see what was happening. It was at that moment when Euphoria's guard was down and Mavislin was in danger, Ashley was summoned back into the physical realm. Not as a person but as a weapon.

One event led to another, and now Ashley is sitting at the dining table with familiar and new faces. The Marksman smiled as he glanced around the lunch table. It has been a long time since he was part of a large group during mealtime. Seeing everyone enjoying themselves...

They were living the life he once dreamed of all those years ago. Yes, this was why Ashley placed his life on the line. After all, the ghosts of the past are the foundations of the future. And Ashley was proud of being a ghost to see the Arks go through massive changes over the years.

As for the current situation, Mavislin smiled as if nothing was wrong with the question. She continued to eat as she thought of a proper reply.

"Yes, to answer your question, my favorite snack has been and always will be eyeballs."

Duncan seemed surprised that the Valkyrie would answer such an odd inquiry.

"And somewhere upstairs, the Time Master has turned over in his sleep..." laughed Z with tears streaming down his cheeks.

After the feast was held, everyone dispersed to their respective locations. But before Ashley could follow behind the children, the Valkyrie stopped him.

"Is there something wrong, Lady Roydon?" asked Ashley, tilting his head to the side.

"How's Minwoo doing on the other side?"

"If you're wondering if he can come back the same way I did, I doubt since he is a new being within Euphoria. The gates permitted me to go, but it sent down a bolt of lightning when Minwoo touched them. The White Rat became fried that day, so yeah..." answered Ashley.

"It looks like he is still the same as always, even after death. That's all I wanted to ask. Take care of those kids and make sure you carry out the tasks I asked earlier," said Mavislin, turning away to walk up the flight of stairs, following Z.

"You know, he still talks about you as if it was all those years ago. He wanted me to let you know it wasn't your fault and you did the right thing that night," said Ashley before he walked out of the front door.

The Valkyrie stopped at midflight of the stairs before shaking her head in amusement.

"It's not about doing the right thing... It's the fact that I had it within me to slay a precious friend of mine with such ease... I never thought I could do such a thing and continue living my days."

Mavislin and Tomoe followed Z into his room, where the future was stuck in the past. Going into the room was mesmerizing, but it didn't deter Mavislin all that much. If it were Bryan, then it would be another reaction. However, Tomoe felt it was too flashy for his taste.

The Galaxian Mage commented that a white fox complained that the room was too white. Due to the number of gadgets in the room, the Kistune's tail was frizzled. Mavislin then went to one side of the table while Z continued surveying the large globe on the other side.

Tomoe leaned against the wall behind the Valkyrie, carefully reading the screens floating above the tabletop. Unknown to the Kitsune, the writings' language was all in Valokian, but because of the nature of the Old Chapel, Tomoe was reading it in Japanese.
