The Ark Of Knight Of the Sun's Sword

Midori stepped back in fear as the Knight of Rebellion inched closer to her with anger in her eyes. The poor child only thought about the best way to defeat her opponent, not realizing that it affected Mordred's emotions. Because, unlike Amani, Midori can't read very well.

Thus, the poor child didn't have the backup knowledge needed to understand the weapon or history she used in battle. The only thing Midori knew was that using the Element of Gaia against the Element of Fire would spell trouble for her since Gaia is weak to Fire.

Midori gripped the sword and started buckling in fear of Mordred beheading her.

"That Knight of the Sun... No matter how many years have passed, whenever someone brings that guy up, I get flashbacks of that goody two shoes. An honor student... It makes me so annoyed to remember that face of his... I would've shown him the pearly gates if Gareth weren't around!"

"And so long as the Sun is up, that Knight would be invincible against all attacks, boiling nearly half a lake at full power. What kind of a cheat is that?! Still, I can't believe you chose that weapon instead of... Well, anything BUT that damned sword..." complained Mordred, as she slammed down her blade.

That was the last straw as Midori dropped the blade and started balling her eyes out, afraid that Mordred would slaughter her or hack off her limbs like how she suffered in Albion. Finally, the poor fox dropped herself and squatted while covering her ears.

Mordred was shocked and quickly ran over to comfort the shaking girl, not knowing that being angry would've triggered an emotional attack from the kid.

"Hey... I'm not going to hurt you... I was the one who saved you, remember? I'm... Sad that you would choose my rival's sword instead of mine or others... I don't like that guy, okay? But it doesn't mean that I'm going to hurt you... We made a deal, right? A promise to stick together..."

"Because if I weren't summoned into your body, you would've died a long time ago. I am part of your soul that the enemies have destroyed, and because your Elemental Core was crippled, your inner mind summoned a Spirit from the past to help you heal," explained Mordred.

Midori sniffled and rubbed away her tears as the Treacherous Knight helped her to stand up again. Mordred sighed, picked up the sword from the ground, and gave it to Midori.

"I guess I shouldn't use my anger from the past to hinder your battles and victory. So promise me that you'll only use this once and switch to another sword, okay?" asked the Knight of Rebellion, holding a thumbs-up sign.

Midori nodded, and Mordred walked by the young fox who held the sword up high.

"Follow my chant, and you'll harness the Sun's power that shines to the Earth, creating Gaia and strength to your being. As much as this thing annoys me, I do know everything about this sword, so I will guide you to unleash its full potential. Don't stammer," said Mordred.

As the Knight of Rebellion finished her explanation, Midori closed her eyes to the inner world. The fox child began to chant as the area around her started to have grass and roots growing everywhere, making Bryan back up slightly.

"With the blessing of the Sun, I now declare this weapon to be honored and true. It shall not be plagued or tainted by darkness or lies. Given to the Knight of the Sun... Sir Gawain of the Knights Of the Round Table..." recited Midori as green Elemental Energy sprang up from the ground into her palms.

Meanwhile, Circe, in her inner world and searches through thousands of doors to use against Midori. The poor girl was conflicted about the arrangement for the fights... It wasn't fair to put her against the rest since she wouldn't do well against close-quarters combat.

Then again, she didn't want to undermine Bryan's decision to do the duels. And besides, it was fun to watch and learn how others battle. Thinking back to Amani's fight, she noted that using Demoness Gozen was only a one-shot technique.

After using that move, Circe would be down for the count. Thus, Hawkeye needed to find a better solution. How about going back to the roots and using her best bows of Greek Myths? Hmm... Circe thought for a while as she opened more doors to look for the best bow and arrow set to use.

Finally, the girl thought of the lion-imprinted door, and it appeared. Circe had wanted to use it against Amani in the previous round but couldn't since something else popped up. But now, that door was staying and waiting for the girl to turn that doorknob.
