"I was wrong for sheltering my trainees from partaking in a Mission just because of their age. Instead, I want them to enter the Mission under my guidance and support."
"I thought that only the First Seats would be stationed to fight the Knights? Why is it that you are allowing the twins to participate in such a dangerous event?" questioned the Headmaster with a tone of anger beneath his tongue.
Rina fidgeted as the Headmaster's voice was formidably loud, while Bryan was shocked and summoned his scythes by accident. Luckily, Tomoe caught sight of the outlines of the weapons and quickly grabbed the Slayer's wrists.
"Calm down; it would be bad to let the Headmaster see how emotionally unstable you are from a single shout. It would look bad on your lady boss so keep your emotions in check," whispered Tomoe.
The Slayer gulped and nodded, retracting his weapons away while Rina could finally exhale the breath she had held for so long. Ashley, the First Pillar, had not made any moves nor was surprised by the Headmaster's sudden burst.
Meanwhile, Mavislin continued to stare at Gillian and continued her response to the matter without breaking a sweat or popping a vein.
"That's why I am allowing only the two best trainees to participate in this Major Mission. They are set up to be against only one Knight. If there is more, they will have to retreat and get my attention first before attacking the enemy," answered Mavislin, without fear of the Headmaster's anger.
"I hope you will not come to regret your choices of placing children on the battlefield," boomed the Headmaster, standing up to threaten the Valkyrie.
Mordred and the Ankou backed away in fear even though they had already entered the room. But was it the children's fear that caused the spirits that way? Mordred felt something was off with how she acted and cursed herself for acting like a weakling.
The Slayer and Spearman sensed the children's alarm and stood in a protective stance between the children and the Headmaster. But Mordred wasn't having any of it and brushed past the First Seats.
"Are you saying that the Grim Reaper and the Knight of Rebellion are not powerful enough to stop some dead things running around the Albion Domains?! Are you underestimating the power of the Knight of the Round Table?!" growled Mordred, ready to lash out at Gillian.
Before Gillian or Mavislin could do anything, the Ankou appeared in front of Mordred. The First Seats were shocked at how fast Duncan reacted to protect the Headmaster from Mordred's swinging punch and simultaneously imposed an attack on the Knight.
The Ankou remained expressionless as he held Mordred's punch in mid-swing with a single hand while his other hand was on her face, ready to crush her skull at any given moment.
"This was what I meant when I said you rely on your emotions too much. Sure, it's great for fights, but we are in a civil setting, so we learn to behave more like humans than animals. If you act out again, I won't hesitate to crush your head."
"So sit back and listen to what the Founders have to say before doing anything reckless, Knight of Rebellion," bellowed the Ankou as his luminous green eyes flashed red for a Tick.
Mordred pondered if she should kick the Ankou away and lunge towards the Headmaster but thought better of it with the judgment of Midori. The poor girl had been sleeping and was awoken by the iron grip of Duncan, panicking when she looked at the situation.
"Oi! Have you lost your mind?! What are you trying to do to the Headmaster and my brother?!" yelled Midori, instantly leaping from the ground and putting Mordred into a headlock while sitting upon the Knight's shoulder.
"Get off of me! Are you trying to kill me or something? Release me this instant before I bend you over psychologically and physically!" yelled Mordred, trying to pry away the child's arms.
"I'm already from the nuthouse, so that's not going to work on me! Promise that you won't hurt the Founders, and I'll let go of you!" screamed Midori, squeezing even harder.
"Okay, Okay! I promise! Damn it, you are worse than Gareth! But why would you even care about what I do, the Headmaster?! I'm not going to kill your Mother, Mav... I'm only throwing hands at that Headmaster!" shouted Mordred, still trying to remove Midori from her neck.
"Because the Headmaster also helped in reviving us! Duncan nearly died after that doctor swung him into the table's corner! He was the one who could stop the bleeding when no one could! How could you forget such an important thing?!" yelled Midori, with tears in her eyes.
