"Well, I submerged myself into humanity and followed along the path of war and destruction while slowing down for the beauty of a simple human life. I wandered the world from the East to the West before settling here, in the alliance of the Five Domains."
"That's why I know of so many legends and heroes to the point that I saw King Arthur in his youth and befriended the Knight of Rebellion, Sir Mordred. Later on, after the Round Table had fallen, I shifted my alliance to the Twelve Paladins of Charlemagne, only to realize Merlin was around."
"I left when Merlin wanted to see me. I have also fought alongside the Fianna and punched Fionn mac Cumhail for spilling water that could prevent Diamuid's death. I fought against Ishtar with Gilgamesh and Enkidu back in the day."
"I have countless more people and legends I have met but can't remember because I'm trying to find out how and why Galahad became such a hot man..." murmured Mavislin as she stared into the profile image of the Knight of Heaven.
Now it's Clement's turn to spit out his coffee. Mavislin knew what would happen as she summoned a mini version of Lord Atlantia, enough to cover herself and the food from the blast.
"Sorry! I never thought that you would be one to think of a male as a 'hot' person. I never knew that you liked the opposite gender since you never struck me as such a person. I only knew that you had a thing for the Time Mage."
"You sound like the type that doesn't get involved with romance or sexual desires nor have the care to dive into those things," said Clement, wiping his mouth.
"You are right about that, but it doesn't mean I am ignorant about such things. Besides, I was stating that my target was supposed to be a young boy, not an adult of such masculinity. So that means something is truly wrong about the version of Galahad I am fighting against."
"What's wrong? Is the famed Knight of the Round Table different from when he was alive? If that's the case, it's best to treat this version of Galahad as a new opponent rather than comparing him to his past self..." suggested Clement, finishing up the food and sipping his coffee.
"I wish it could be that simple, but the only thing changes would be the Element and physical appearance of the Knights, nothing of their combat styles. Maybe their view has shifted to a more cynical and darker side, but their moves are still the same."
"The guard Galahad once used is the inspiration for my Ancient Relic, Lord Atlantia; Lost Kingdom of Oceana. So to find that this new version of the Knight of Heaven does not wield a shield is a bit confusing for me. Although, he does use the Sword Of Balin."
"That Sword has the Element of Light despite being revived by the Darkness within the Black Knight. Thus, it's an even match to my power as a Valokian Gladiator," said Mavislinb, plucking out the image of the Sword Of Balin from Galahad's profile.
"Oh? Does it look like Mavislin is going for another guy so soon? How about trying with me instead-"
Before the Kitsune could finish his sentence, Mavislin merely punched the poor fox by holding up a fist. Clement watched horror as Tomoe flew across the room and collided with the thick stone walls. Raiyen sighed as he dragged his Familiar back to the dining table.
Clement left the table to prepare the main breakfast for the whole group as Mavislin cleared her dish.
"This is what you get for jumping top conclusions against the Valkyrie, Tomoe. Even after so long, you fail to realize that. Either you are a fool, and you're thriving from pain... It disturbs me, so go fix yourself when you face the Stormbringer," said Raiyen, stretching his arms out.
"Hmph... I wanted to tease Mavislin since she looks so stressed out..."
"I thank you for trying to comfort me, but you could give me words of encouragement or more food next time. So how are you both going to defeat Raijin?" asked Mavislin as she reverted her Flame Empress outfit to her usual sky blue dress.
"Well, that's a secret! But it will involve a lot of destruction and pain because that Stormbringer isn't one to be given light punishment. I want that man to feel the wrath of pissing off a nine-century-old Kitsune. So I'm going to unleash my Tails for this battle, so best know that it will be glorious."
Tomoe's speech about killing Raijin sent shivers down Clement's spine as he realized Tomoe was also a figure of legends. Raiyen laughed as Clement served their breakfast, and Mavislin left through the front door.
