The Ark Of Mage Of Flowers

Luckily, Merlin's Elemental power wasn't as high as what Bryan had presumed, and the attack was only slightly above the children's power. So Bryan quickly broke through the spell and was ready to unleash another bit of the Stars at Merlin's face.

"Symbol of Chiron, Tutor to many Greek Heroes... Stars Of the Centaur, Saggitarius!" yelled Bryan as an onslaught of arrows appeared above Merlin's head, raining downwards from a giant golden circle.

Finally getting a clear view of the enemy, Ashley aimed for Merlin's head and fired a single bullet. But the figure of the Mage vanished, collapsing into a pile of pink flowers.

"Phew! That was close... It seems that I've underestimated the two of you as competent Mages..." said Merlin, standing behind the two Mages on top of a rock.

"Who in the world is this Mage? He doesn't have a proper Elemental Aura or Energy level, so how is he existing now? It's as if this enemy had come from another dimension like how I came from Euphoria..." questioned Ashley, reloading his gun again.

"Proper? What, like can you see the Elemental Aura and Energy levels of every Mage you see?" asked the Slayer, turning to face Ashley.

"Well... Ya, of course, I can. High-ranking Mages in the Arks are supposed to discern their opponents' Elemental levels just by looking at them... So don't tell me that you don't have that skill..." said Ashley as he relaxed his shoulders and faced Bryan.

"Well, I got to where I'm standing without such a skill, so I don't think it will be necessary."

"How can you be calm about a skill so needed on the battlefield?! What happens if Lady Roydon hears about this?!"

"Then you're not going to tell her! And besides, I've won most fights without using such things, so it's not going to change my life whatsoever..."

"Argh! Never mind that; I'll fix that problem for you again. For now, however, I'd like to know who or what our enemy is... Because I don't like how he talks like a weak fighter when he knows how to use a weapon."

"Oh? You still haven't got a clue who I am despite firing at me. What happens if I was your big brother?" asked Merlin, placing his hands on his hips.

The Slayer and Marksman Pillars slowly turned to look at the White Mage with widened eyes.

"I would love to be given a chance to kill my brother, but he was already done in by something else. So there's no way I am going think of you as my elder brother," said Ashley as a flash of cyan appeared in his eyes.

"Aw... That's a shame; you seem like a perfect candidate for a little brother. Well then, allow me to introduce myself properly," said Merlin as he proudly flicked his hair and cloak.

"I am the Mage of Flowers, serving as the advisor to King Arthur of Camelot. I was known as the Dream Mage of the Congregation. My name is Merlin, the Gran-"

Before the poor man could finish, Ashley shot the rock that Merlin was standing on. The Mage of Flowers screamed with terror as he leaped away before he could fall.

"Hey! What was that for?! You didn't give me a chance to finish my introduction when you were the one which asked who I am!" yelled Merlin, pointing his staff at Ashley.

The Marksman shrugged as he reloaded the rifle, causing the Slayer to raise an eyebrow.

"Your introduction was too long, and you should know better than to stand still in the presence of a sniper... Besides, you were part of the Congregation, which makes you my enemy," growled Ashley as he glared at Merlin.

"Now that's interesting... You know that all the founding members of the Arks were from the Congregation, right? Also, I doubt that you know much about Mavislin and her connection with the Round Table..." replied Merlin, smirking.

"Explain yourself, Merlin the Mage... Weren't you supposed to be dead? I get that you are a Mage and half incubus, but that doesn't give you an excuse to become immortal..." said Bryan, pointing one scythe at the smiling Mage.

"Hm? Was my death recorded down? Because I don't recall dying..." asked Merlin, scratching his head.

Bryan lowered his arms as he recalled what Mavislin said about the last meeting with Merlin... But, unfortunately, their fight didn't end with anyone winning because Merlin had vanished before Mavislin could deal the final blow.

"The last thing I recalled after I left the Camlan Hill was fighting Mavislin. I complained to the Valkyrie about how Camelot fell because Mordred threw a huge tantrum about not getting the throne while she argued that it was because of the King's incompetent ruling."
