The Ark Of Mordred's Account Of Merlin

"One was when he was forced down by the enemy to see if he was truly blind, and the other was when Gawain wanted to know if the world would crumble if Tristan showed his eyes to everyone. Least to say, we were a rowdy bunch when we weren't trying to gouge out each other's eyes."

The group looked horrified at the Knight of Rebellion's words while Duncan shrugged.

"What?! I'm not going to influence Midori into randomly fighting her peers, so you don't have to give me those looks... Anyways, Merlin was the one who created the famed sword in the stone, Caliburn. So the man was proficient in making weaponry with Magecraft."

"And always barging into our dreams to mess with our heads, but that's another day. If I'm not mistaken, Merlin taught the Lady of the Lake Magecraft, but I'm not sure how true that is," replied

"Despite his claims of always not wanting to be in the frontlines, Merlin's swordplay is on another level. Sir Kay and he were the ones who taught the King the ways of the sword. The Mage of Flowers never liked during long chants since he always got tongue-tied," explained Mordred.

"That checks out with our encounter with Merlin. I hate to admit it, but Merlin was more powerful than the Knight of the Sun. If it hadn't been for Ashley helping me out at the last part, then I wouldn't have come out of the battle unscathed," answered the Slayer.

"Hang on a Tick... So you fought against Merlin?! That Mage isn't the type to start fights without right reasons... And even if he had reasons, Merlin wouldn't fight unless he couldn't physically retreat from the area. So how in the world did you manage to make him fight?!"

The Valkyrie was very confused as she stared down at the Slayer and Marksman.

"Well, as I've said earlier, Bryan went nuts and started kicking the poor Mage throughout the forest as if he was the next punching baga whileook me a while to figure out the enemy's identity. Bryan had jumped the gun and thought Merlin was the one who revived the King and the Knights."

"The fight ended after Merlin had unleashed his Original Spell; Sinless Utopia. And I found out the Slayer can conjure up beasts like the Hydra using the Element of Constellations," explained Ashley.

"Well, that's a nice feature, but I highly doubt it's as strong as my Cetus or Tomoe, so it's a one-time spell. As for Bryan jumping the gun, was his prediction right?"

"I'm not sure because he vanished after Merlin used his spell on us. But I'm hinging on the fact that Merlin might not be involved in these things or has been working for Fabian but not for the Knights. I'm willing to bet that Merlin is innocent because he sounded off.

"The Mage Of Flowers was confused about why Bryan hated him so much during our battle. And he couldn't understand why we accused him of reviving the Knights. That would warn us that Merlin wasn't wholly responsible but not innocent either."

"I've got my doubts too, but I can't say for sure..." described Ashley as the Old Chapel erected a stone table in front of him.

Out came a floating screen with Merlin's profile and archived history. The Marksman went silent as he tried finding any accounts of Merlin being with the revived Knights. But nothing came out, only the error messages saying there's no sign of the Dream Mage being active.

"Is this thing spoiled or something? How can it not detect our battle in Albion? Merlin was looking alive over there..." said the Slayer, confused.

"And I'm supposed to be dead here, but I'm still walking about, aiming at dead Knights' heads. Nothing makes sense anymore. But Mavislin, Headmaster, what are your thoughts about our findings?" questioned Ashley, glancing at the two Founders.

Mavislin walked up to the screens and read the screens before sighing and sitting back down.

"For the first time, I'm going to trust Merlin the Mage and say that he isn't involved with the Knights of the Round Table or King Arthur. However, I would say that he is somehow related to Fabian, but I have no clue why or how," announced Mavislin after hearing Ashley's words.

"Well, I'm going to disagree with you on that since I've known Merlin long enough. He loves to mess around with your thoughts and dreams, so I will never see him as innocent," said the Headmaster.

"Mavislin, I am interested in how your battle went against Galahad. Because your First Seat all had interesting experiences to tell, I've got high expectations of your fight. Because I can't imagine Sir Galahad fighting since he was known to be a peacekeeper during the old days," asked Gillian.
