"The Sword of Promised Victory and the Sword of the Chosen King are items created by Magecraft. These weapons prevented you and humans from seeing the King's true gender. And the same goes for Mordred, but that's because you don't see her with her helmet off."
"Oh great... Now Mordred is a girl too?! So then you are going to say Guinevere is a male..." replied Galahad, sighing heavily.
"Well, I'm not confirming nor denying that fact..."
"Huh?!" yelled the poor Knight, who felt like the world was nothing but lies.
The unfortunate man called Galahad was now questioning his existence from birth to death. His disappointment was immeasurable, and his day was ruined.
"So how was Mordred created if both King and Queen were girls?" asked the Knight, still shaken by the revelation.
"Well, according to Mordred herself, she claims that Merlin took chunks of the King's flesh and made some nasty doll out of it. Then, using more Magecraft, Merlin created a fake body for the King and Queen to place part of their souls into the thing."
"But Morgana, the King's sister and mother of Agravain, took the artificial human for herself and placed her soul into the mix, resulting in Mordred. But I agree with you; if Mordred hadn't taken off her helmet, I would've thought she was a male," explained the Valkyrie.
"For starters, Mordred fights like a mad beast but gets the job done quickly. But I couldn't have fathomed that Mordred was a woman..."
The Knight of Heaven sat on top of a rock while trying to wrap his head around the truth. The poor man was still holding his head in pain while Mavislin arched her back to crack her spine.
"Does that wound hurt that bad? I didn't expect you to feel any pain when you are supposed to be the undead," replied Mavislin, raising an eyebrow at the poor Knight.
"Well, compared to the rest of the Mages, I wasn't brought back to life using the traditional means! So I'm bound to feel some form of pain... Besides, if I were to lose the feeling of pain, I don't think I could live with myself..." complained Galahad, looking at the rocks.
"What do you mean? Isn't it a good thing not to feel pain? Judging by the fact you are still rubbing that spot on your head, I thought you would hope that your wounds stopped hurting," asked Mavislin.
"To you, it might be good not to feel pain because you are warmongers... But for a human, it's different. If I stopped feeling pain, then I can't call myself human. I wouldn't know what could kill me nor understand the pain of going into battle."
"And speaking of battles, I hate to admit this, but how you've handled the shield is astounding and worthy of praise. We would have been unstoppable if you and I had been on the same side."
"And if you didn't have a change of heart at the last Tick, I wouldn't have known the truth about my group," commented Galahad, rubbing the sore spot on his head.
"I appreciate your kind words, but I don't think I'll be joining you soon. You are helping the King out with some grand plan of sorts... I've only gotten a few points, but I want to know what the King intends to do."
"Do you think you can tell me what you are trying to pull off?" questioned Mavislin.
"I think that you've got the wrong idea about me... I have no intention of helping the King in his grand scheme since that thing is no longer the person I served in my lifetime. And after hearing the truths and piecing everything together, I am adamant that I'm no longer on their side."
"I hope the King wouldn't send troops to me because of my rebellious act. And because of my belief, I will gladly tell you the King's grand plan since I want nothing to do with it. And I hope the Arks has the power to stop whatever this King is planning..."
"I can't make any promises, but I can assure you that the Barren Pillars are more than capable of finishing a Mission. If it tarnishes the Magecraft society and hurts my brethren, I will do everything in my stead to rectify the problem," announced Mavislin, nodding.
"The King announced that he would like to turn the Albion Domain into the Utopia, Avalon. The first stage is now purging the masses of the sinful ones," explained Galahad with his eyes darkening.
Mavislin widened her eyes as her face drained of all color. The Valkyrie quickly took deep breaths and tried calming herself down as memories flooded her mind. Merlin had shown her what Avalon was, and it triggered her memories of war.
