"So after compiling the memories, that man of the pink petals created me using a Bizzare Doll. From what I know, a Bizzare Doll is a person that has already died, but someone else took their body and used Magecraft to take care of it."
"Another soul would be stuffed into the item, resulting in me being alive again."
"So that Mage is active again... I truly thought he was dead..."
"I wish he was, Valkyrie. But alas, Merlin was the one who brought me back to life, and that's why I don't have glowing red eyes like the rest and why I can't be strung up like a puppet," explained Galahad.
"But I destroyed that ring around your neck... So that means you were being controlled, right?"
"That ring was the only item to keep me in check. Now that it has been destroyed, there's no way of controlling me. Also, I've stopped fading away because I am no longer under the King's Element... Something called 'Corruption'..."
Mavislin shook her head as she sat down beside the Knight.
"So that means you aren't going to go crazy or something? Because I think you are still not right in the head..."
"I'm never right in the head, and that reminds me of what I was trying to tell you earlier about the King not being himself. The King looked odd when I first saw him. But, like, the King's physical appearance was more mature than I had recalled, and his armor was clad in black."
"Also, his eyes were bright red, and his hair was super pale, a shade paler than his original hair color. Then came his commands, and he wished to change Albion. During that meeting, I turned to see that I was the last one to be summoned."
"After a while, I thought to myself, why wasn't Mordred revived as well? I thought he would be since he could fight so well. Everyone said Mordred didn't fight like a normal Knight, but I think his tactics and skills are out of this world. But when I brought Mordred up, Gawain wanted to use Galatine on me!"
"Well, that's never going to change because Mordred was the one who rebelled against the King and caused a rift between people. Chaos ensued afterward, and everything ended during the Battle Of Camlann. I was there to see everything, and Bedivere took away the King."
"It has been so long, but I still recall the day I saw Mordred's lifeless body on that blood-soaked hill. The King had been gone by then, and I was left standing there, trying to figure out how things turned out so negatively. And that's when I vowed never to help the humans with any conflict."
"So that's why you were so intent on showing me your true strength... To prove that you couldn't help the humans no matter the cost. I understand now, and I sincerely apologize for my reckless behavior."
"It's fine... Hey, earlier, you asked about the events that led to Camelot's defeat and the eventual death of the King... Did you know that the King had died when you were summoned back into the world?" asked Mavislin, suddenly remembering her question.
"No, I did not. I only recalled giving the Grail and promptly passing out. And from what I've seen of the other Knights, they seemed revived with different memories. For instance, Tristan can't recall leaving the Round Table while Lancelot has lost his speech and can only growl like a mad dog."
"Only Gawain and Bedivere seemed the most normal, but Bedivere was more robust than usual. However, that new trait caused a problem for me when I saw Bedivere punching the life out of another man because he refused to answer the King's questions."
Mavislin looked surprised as Galahad explained the differences between the Knights.
"Why do you ask?"
"Because I want to know if you see the King as a He or a She."
"Isn't the King a male?" asked Galahad, looking at the Valkyrie with a raised eyebrow.
Mavislin was silent as she transformed back to her first form.
"I am very sure that the King is a male... So why are you looking at me as if I'm wrong? I served that person for most of my life, so I should know... Otherwise, how was Mordred created?"
"That's a damn good question that Merlin's whimsical fantasies can only answer. But, because I can assure you, I see King Arthur as a woman," replied Mavislin.
"Huh?" was all the Knight could say as Mavislin twiddled her fingers.
"The Mages aren't human, so we knew that the King isn't a male..."
"But I know King Arthur! I've seen him... So why can't we see the King as a girl?"
