"On the surface, Fabian Brookes is a nobleman in the Briton Domain, with his rank being a Baron. However, it is said that the man has so much money that he bought a random plot of land on top of a hill in the 27th District of the Briton Domain."
"Which was odd to everyone, but no one questioned the rich man's choice. So long as you got the money and resources, no sane person will question whatever you do."
"The Briton Domain... Is that where Camelot was?" asked Galahad, his ears twitching when hearing his home.
"Yes, but it has since changed over the years after the fall of King Arthur. The Briton Domain is mostly led by the Midford Family and has been broken down into 27 Districts, with the highest number dubbed as Prisoners' Den. A place to dump criminals."
"And Fabian Brookes was insane enough to live in that place? What's the matter with his thinking?"
"I thought it was odd, but then I remembered what that rich person did for a living. As I've mentioned before, Fabian was responsible for creating dolls like yourself and the ones running around now. Before that, the person was a craftsman from wilting wood to carving statues."
"The only reason he became so famous within the Briton Domain was that Fabian carved out a statue of some dragon and called the Red Dragon of Camelot. That work caught the attention of the Midford Family and decided to give the title of Baron to Fabian."
"For an unknown period, Fabian kept to himself before discovering something called 'Porcelain,' a smooth but breakable material used in craftmanship and pottery. Very similar to clay. Ever since he knew of the material, Fabian decided to create dolls with cotton clothing."
"The man sold the dolls in toy stores as a toy manufacturer to stop the overwhelming commissions from those that wanted new statues in their homes. But most of the dolls were given to Orphanages through Briton."
"That's a good thing to do... I don't see how this man is becoming your enemy."
"You said that you had no clue where the King would bring the prisoners to... Right? If the math checks out and I'm right about everything we've discussed yet... Then those men aren't coming back alive anymore. Because there's another thing, Fabian found while researching on materials..."
"The existence of 'Bone China'. It's very similar to porcelain but looks more elegant and has a silky texture. And it would be a fantastic material to make undead soldiers because Bone China is very lightweight. But of course, it is significantly more costly than porcelain."
"Wait... You are not suggesting that... The dolls are made of bones?" asked Galahad, showing fear in his eyes.
"As the name suggests, Bone China is a material that uses bones as its main subject. However, traditionally, it uses cattle bones. So I would presume Fabian had started with animal bones for the toys. As for those dolls equipped to fight like yourself and your Knights..."
"There's no doubt that Fabian used human bones to create the Knights' bodies as well as yours..."
Galahad shot a palm out to Mavislin, making the poor girl scared, and slapped the poor Knight away out of reflex. The Knight of Heaven flew towards another rock, smashing his spine against it. It took Mavislin a few Ticks before realizing what had happened.
The Valkyrie quickly rushed over to Galahad, who was now wincing in pain again...
"Are you trying to kill me the second time?! I wasn't hurting you; I only wanted to halt your sentence because it was wrong!" yelled Galahad as Mavislin bowed her head apologetically.
"Why was it wrong? Aren't you revived like the Knights?"
"I was, but I was different from the rest because the King doesn't have a complete memory of me. Something didn't work, and the King tried to create a new persona for me. However, despite his best efforts, it failed when he tried to create me from the doll."
"Therefore, the King decided to turn to Merlin for help. But because my soul couldn't be invoked into the world by some unseen force, Merlin devised another plan. By grabbing half of my actual memories and the twisted persona that the King thought of me," explained the Knight.
"A twisted persona? The King thought of you being a cold-blooded killer or a madman?"
"Something along those lines. When I asked about it, Merlin said that the King believed in a version of me where I never found the Holy Grail, giving up halfway during my journey."
"Hmm... Some people have the same belief because you never came back to help Camelot during its final days. But from the power you've shown, those statements are false."
