The Ark Of Single Vs AOE

"But you have a point; I can't confirm if our combined powers would be anywhere enough to defeat the King. And not forgetting that her armor can be a problem to bypass unless one of us has a Divine Weapon up our sleeves..."

Just as the Ankou wanted to kick Mordred into the next dimension, Mavislin chimed into the conversation after pondering for some time.

"Instead of doing an area of effect attack on the backup armies, I can ask someone else to do that while I use that spell against the King."

The twins blinked in confusion as the Valkyrie figured her statement was too vague.

"Okay... I'll show you a miniature scale of how my powers work. Let's say my target is this rock over here. And I'll use another similar rock to let you see differences between the two types of attacks."

Mavislin placed the two rocks in front of the kids and hovered one palm above each stone.

"On my left, I will show you what it means to use an area of effect attack. On my right, I will use the same attack but focus on a single target. Okay, first, I'm going to smash the rock on my left into smaller pieces," instructed Mavislin as she smacked the rock's top.

The rock instantly broke into several pieces as Mavislin's palms started glowing. A flash of light blinded the kids as the Valkyrie activated the spells at once. Then, as the mini dust cloud dispersed, Mordred and the Ankou could see the aftermath of both rocks.

The one on the left still had tiny pieces strewn about the area, but the one on the right had nothing left.

"Using the power I would have unleashed on multiple targets; I can force into one space and direct the power into a single point. Imagine having the strength used for ten punches combined into one single punch at an enemy. That victim wouldn't have a face to be buried with..."

The twins nodded, and the trio continued talking about the plan.

"So, what you are saying you will be using the attack on the King himself? And we should block the incoming attacks?" asked the Ankou.

"Alright, let's break it down to simpler terms... We've got a few things we must take care of once we reach... First, if we can find the place or the King decides to find us. If we head to his base, then we have to prepare for more dolls. But we shouldn't care about them since they're lower level."

"I wouldn't get too cocky if I were you because we still don't know what those dolls are..." added the Ankou.

"The Ankou is right, Mordred. We can't just assume the dolls are weak. If we get weighed down by too much, we might lose to the final enemy. So we will be heading towards the King once Galahad is stable to relay the information to me," explained Mavislin.

"Wait, how is Galahad on your side? I thought you finished him?" questioned Mordred, blinking in confusion.

"Long story short, I've turned Galahad into my Familiar. But that isn't the point... Those dolls that Fabian created are very similar to Familiars, meaning that those things can learn and grow if given time. They aren't just mindless puppets... They are living and breathing in a mass of organs."

"So once they get their hands on a Mage, there is no stopping them," warned Mavislin as her eyes darkened.

"Roger that, Lady Roydon. I'll make sure to take that into account when we battle them. As for the current plan, I would need everyone to play their part. Will Galahad be helping out?"

"Because from what I know, that child of a philander has got a shield strong enough to beat some of Merlin's spells. That giant metal thing is made from the Round Table, so if you can use Galahad at full power, you can summon the Round Table Knights' defense into that spell."

"It's quite powerful if you ask me..." explained the Knight of Rebellion.

"No, I don't think I would have the strength to pull that off..."

"If that's the case, we have to go with another plan, which is to use what we've got. Initiating the fight would be everyone's job to see how powerful the King has become. A bit like testing the waters. In the meantime, we can try to find a weak spot or get the King confused."

"Then, when it comes to the battle's climax, we would need someone to hold down the King and another person to brave the attack from his blade. Another one to break through his armor and at least two of us to land the attack just in case the King has another trick up her sleeves."
