The Ark Of Let's Get Out!

"Sounds easy enough?" instructed Mordred, looking at Mavislin for approval.

The Ankou and the Valkyrie kept quiet as they tried to process what Mordred had said. Then, after a while, Mavislin broke out into a big grin.

"That sounds like a good plan! But, except for the first part, we can't afford to attack the King as a united front at first and then perform a gathered attack. If we do so, it would be shooting ourselves in the foot because we would have given our strengths to the enemy."

"So we fight together within a period and hope to wear down the opponent, or we go through with that final part at the beginning."

"Then how about fighting one at a time? Like, we come in one by one and try to defeat the King by exhausting him?" suggested the Ankou.

"Hmm... That would be too risky since the King might release the Husks during one of the fights. I prefer the latter option of going with the plan at the beginning of the battle."

"Where we force the King to unleash Excalibur so that we can attack from other areas while she is being held down," elaborated Mavislin.

The three were silent before Mordred abruptly stood up, scaring the Ankou off balance.

"What's wrong? Do you sense another enemy?" asked the Ankou, raising an eyebrow at the energetic Knight.

"Nope, I just found another way, but I don't know if Mavislin would approve of this..." said Mordred as her happiness slowly vanished.

"Speak, dear child," commanded the Valkyrie.

"I thought about sending one person to fight the King while the rest of us wait for the opportune moment to pull off the final attack and trap him. I know this can be an evil plan, but if you see it from another angle, it may work better than emerging as a group," explained Mordred.

"That could work, but who do you think would be the best choice to fight the King first?" questioned Mavislin, staring at Modred's emerald orbs.

The Knight of Rebellion gulped as she couldn't tear her eyes away from the ominous Valkyrie. Mordred knew that the first person to go in might be the first to get killed, so if she chose someone weaker than the enemy, she would essentially send that person to die.

It's akin to murder at that point. The Treacherous Knight found herself cornered and cursed as she had no choice but to use herself as the bait.

"To my best judgment, I think I would be the best fit for that role. I've got some unfinished business with the person anyway, so it's a win for me. I can use psychological tactics against the King if he still can speak, or I could trample his neck... The list goes on," proposed Mordred, sighing.

"Are you sure about this, Mordred?"

"Yes, I'm sure of it. We can enforce the plan on my call or when you see that the King will use Excalibur. Until then, I will make sure to play with the King."

"If that's the case, then I can't let you do it alone. You may be Mordred now, but the soul and body you are borrowing are my sister's. I promised her, and I don't intend to break it. So please, let us join you in fighting the King before the actual event," chimed Ankou and Duncan.

Mavislin could tell both males were in sync since their voices overlapped while saying that last sentence.

"I guess I can't say no... But if anyone gets a fatal wound, I'm revealing myself no matter what. So now then, if you two are going to fight first, will you be joining the climax in killing the King?" asked the Valkyrie.

"I know I will since I will use Clarent against the King... How about you?" asked the Knight, turning to the Ankou.

"It depends... If I exhausted too much strength within the first part, I wouldn't join in unless you need more help. But I think with the team that we have; we can manage... Right?"

"Yes, we should have enough power to defeat the King."

The area trembled just then as the other fights' clashes rang throughout the entire Domain. Alongside the onslaught of dolls, Albion was being havoced by the enemy forces. The Five Kings and the Mafia worked together to get the people into the shelters.

Mavislin straightened her back as she saw the forces from the Dynasty of Wings attending to the skies while the Blizzard Factions ensured the waters were safe. The Valkyrie sensed it would be only a matter of time before the King knew about his Knights' defeat.

"We have to go now... Let's get out of here before we meet the King himself!"
