Postmortem - It Begins with Death

Samuel Cromwell had to endure many great misfortunes in his life.

He used to be a sheltered lad with a happy family and close friends, however, since his childhood he escaped deaths grasp a countless number of times.

He survived many dangerous situations without even realizing that he was in danger in the first place.

Until one day, he survived a tragic accident that claimed the lives of his family members and friends, leaving him alone and as the sole survivor of his Cromwell family.



But in spite of that, he was determined to fight fate and keep on living.

He would not only keep his life but also enjoy every minute of it cherishing his life and achieving the common dream he had once shared with his best friends.

Yet, soon after they died he was plagued with unendurable guilt and thoughts that tormented his very soul.

Although he didn't experience life-threatening situations anymore, he was now under psychological pressure, as if something was attacking his mind.

He knew that the deaths of those he loved were not his fault but those thoughts kept coming back over and over again, almost as if they were a plague.

They kept urging him to end his life to rejoin his loved ones in the afterlife.

But were these thoughts really caused by Fate or were they actual manifestations of what he really wanted to do?
