Not you... Him.

"Konoha, here I come!"

Feeling the adrenaline rush, I ran as fast as I could. After making my way to the tallest vantage point, I let a smile cover my face as I took in the scenery.

It really was Konoha. I wasn't dreaming.

Tears nearly fell out of my eyes, remembering all of the fond memories from my past life, watching the anime. A wave of nostalgia assaulted me out of nowhere.

Calming myself down, I started thinking.

"What do I want to do first? I've dreamed of this day, yet I don't know..."

Squatting, I calmed myself down. Then, a thought came to mind.

Ichiraku!

Smiling, I jumped down, landing smoothly on the ground below. The people looked at me weirdly but quickly for a second got back to what they were doing.

The first thing I noticed was that they seemed much healthier than Sunagakure's inhabitants. This really was a rich land.

After walking through the streets for a while, I finally came across an information point. Entering, I purchased a map of the village and had the system memorize it. Of course, I did not forget to ask for directions.

Finally knowing where to go, I immediately started walking to my destination. Reaching it in half an hour. Suddenly, as I was lifting the shop's curtains, a scream caught me off-guard.

"Hey! You fat pig! If you don't let him go I'll make you pay! Fatass! Idiot!"

That voice... There's no mistaking it.

Feeling my heart accelerate and my stomach fill up with butterflies, I ran straight to the direction of the noise... forgetting about the Ramen.

My body acted on instinct and I quickly arrived at the scene.

First I saw Temari and Kankuro. The latter was holding a kid in his hands... It was none other than Konohamaru!

"I remember this scene... If that's Konohamaru, then..."

Naruto!

Shifting my head slightly to the left, I saw a short, blonde kid with spiky hair and whiskers. He was wearing his signature orange jacket and looked like he was about to start a fight.

Sakura was holding him down, stopping him from fighting Kankuro head-on. Suddenly, Kankuro spoke, interrupting my thoughts.

"Hey, you're annoying. Basically... I hate midgets. Especially younger ones that are rude, it makes me want to kill them."

"What!?"

Hearing him say those words, Naruto and Sakura looked shocked. Temari just shrugged, letting out a sigh. Suddenly, Kankuro raised his fist, ready to punch Konohamaru.

"Well, after this one, I'll take care of that other midget."

Finally snapping back to my senses, I quickly lifted my hands, predicting what would happen. Some sand quickly made it to Kanlro, protecting Konohamaru from his punch.

At the same time, it stopped an incoming rock that could have hurt his arm.

"What? Gaara!"

Seeing the sand, Kankuro immediately understood what happened. Coming out of my hiding spot, I walked over to him and made him drop Konohamaru, who quickly ran behind Naruto's back.

"Kankuro. Didn't Baki tell us to not cause any trouble?"

Hearing my words, Kankuro became somewhat angry.

"But he was the one to bump into me! I just wanted to-"

Before he could finish his sentence, I let some of my chakra leak out... Shutting him up. Intimidation was one of my strong points, as Shukaku's Jinchuriki.

"You! Who are you! What was that chakra!"

Turning around, I faced a fearful Naruto and Sakura. Avoiding the subject, I quickly apologized.

"I'm sorry for what my brother did to your friend. I hope you can forgive him, he's just a little short-tempered."

Saying this, I shifted my gaze towards a nearby tree, where a black-haired boy was resting. He looked at me with a confused expression.

Jumping down, he stood by Naruto and Sakura. It was none other than Sasuke Uchiha.

(Sasuke: 'How the hell did I not notice his presence... Just how long has he been there, hiding?')

"well, with that said, we'll take our leave."

Turning around, I signaled for Kankuro and Temari to follow me as we started leaving. Suddenly, we were stopped by Sakura.

"Wait!"

Turning around, I looked at her dead in the eye. She looked scared but still asked her question.

"Judging from your forehead-protectors, you guys are from Suna, right? You may be allied with the leaf, but it's forbidden for ninja to enter other villages without permission..."

"Depending on your reasons, we might not be able to let you go..."

Hearing this, I smiled. It was a question I expected to hear.

"We are here for the Chunin exams."

"Chu-what?"

Naruto looked at me confusedly.

"The Chunin exams. It's where outstanding Genin from the Sand, Leaf, and other neighboring villages assemble to take an exam to become Chunin."

"Hey Konohamaru, do you think I should participate in this Chunin thing?"

Looking excited, Naruto completely ignored me, opting to talk with Konohamaru instead. Smiling, I turned back around to leave.

Before I could though, I was stopped once again, this time by Sasuke.

"You... What's your name?"

"Gaara of the Desert. I'm also interested... What's your name?"

"Sasuke Uchi-"

"Not you. The one with the blond hair."

Hearing my words, everyone looked at me weirdly. They didn't understand, especially Sasuke himself.

Naruto took a moment, but quickly realize what happened and strolled past Sasuke, Pointing his tongue at him and pulling down an eyelid.

This angered the young Uchiha, who clenched his fists in frustration.

"I am Naruto Uzumaki! Remember it!"

"I will... Farewell."

Smiling, I left the scene along with Kankuro and Temari, who looked at me with confusion. The latter couldn't help but ask what was on her mind.

"I really thought that the handsome guy was stronger... What did you see in the blonde squirt, Gaara?"

Smiling, I answered in a mysterious tone.

"You guys didn't notice, but that kid is special. Even more so than the other one. You wouldn't understand."

"Tch. Weirdo."

Hearing my words, Kankuro just decided to forget about the whole incident.

-----------------------------------------------

After that, I spent the rest of my day as a bonafide tourist.

I ate all of the foods I wanted and visited all of the note-worthy spots from the anime, like the Hokage monument, the Hokage tower, the training fields, etc.

Not a single minute was wasted, as I took hundreds of pictures with the system's help.

The next day, Baki took us to the main site of the Chunin exams. Once we reached the entrance, he stopped us and gave us a little speech.

"I will not accept failure. All of you are strong enough to make it, so I expect nothing less from you. You can go now, and remember to not let your guard down, ever!"

"Hai!"

Nodding, we all entered the building, leaving Baki at the entrance. We were six in total, including that sword-guy.

Once inside, I had expected to come across the Genjutsu test, but it was nowhere to be seen. In fact, we made it to the third floor unhindered, taking up a spot in the back corner of the room.

I watched excitedly as more and more ninja walked through the door, all from different backgrounds. Sometime later, I saw Kiba and team Kurenai enter the room.

They were the first of the rookies to arrive. Not saying much, they sat down in the front.

After them, the only noteworthy characters were team Asuma, Team Dosu and Kabuto's squad. Seeing him, my guard obviously went up.

Finally, Team Kakashi arrived, along with Team Guy, and I watched attentively as the Manga's events happened right in front of me. From Kabuto's puking to Naruto's screaming. Everything was the same.

'Phew... At least I haven't messed up the canon yet. If I did, my knowledge would be irrelevant. Even so, it will be inevitable and will probably happen at some point in these exams.'

...

Suddenly, a loud bang was heard, and a group of ninja appeared out of thin air.

They were none other than Ibiki and his examiners.
