Attack on fortress

Four days later, in the early morning hours, when most people were asleep... I was on top of a vantage point, observing an enormous yellow fortress.

By my side was Shiso, Although her cloak hid it, she was wearing a telecommunication device on her head.

Turning on my microphone, I spoke softly.

"Shiso. Is the area clear?"

"Yes. Not a single soul throughout a fifty-kilometer radius."

"Perfect. A, how is it on your side?"

"Very good, boss. We've successfully infiltrated the fortress, and the night guards are all in the locations you specified. We can take them down as soon silently as you give the order."

"Good. Everyone, remember this. We go in alive, we get out alive. Everyone inside will die, and no commotion. Understood? no witnesses."

"Hai!"

Hearing their confirmation, I took a deep breath. Feeling the area out with my sand, I made sure that everyone else was asleep. I had placed a hidden sand eye in every single room inside the fortress.

This would be a mass murder. Although I'm not a madman that goes around killing people for pleasure, this is necessary. I can't leave a single witness or chance of retaliation. When I do something, I do it thoroughly.

Anyways, the only people in the fortress were Manami and her guards, therefore no innocents would be killed.

Steeling myself, I gave the order.

"Go!"

As soon as the triplets started killing the guards, I lifted my hands in the air.

All of the sand I had scattered around the fortress during the last three days came alive, silently entering people's sleeping quarters.

I watched through my sand eyes as the sand entered people's nostrils and moths, expanding in their throats and killing them.

After sixty seconds, not a single person was left alive in the fortress, including Manami. The job had been clean and perfectly executed.

Even the Jonin died to my sand... They were all asleep at this time. We had specifically waited for this moment when they were all asleep.

A total of fifty people had been killed tonight, in sixty seconds. Even so, I didn't feel any different.

Was I changing? I don't know. Anyways, we came for something... Let's not waste any more time.

"Alright, everyone is dead. The coast is clear. A, B, and C, head over to Manami's room and wait at the door, we'll be there shortly."

"Yes, boss!"

I could feel a little incredulity in his voice. I mean, who would believe that a single person took down all of the Jonin and Chunin, even if they were sleeping.

Not thinking about it, I ran alongside Shiso and Tori, making it to Manami's room in no time.

Once there, the triplets were already waiting.

"Time for the reward. Good job everyone. Take anything you like, but don't touch her body. Also, remember that I have priority and that we need to get out in less than a minute... Open the door."

"Hai!"

Listening to my orders, A pushed the door open. Once inside, the magnificent view of countless rare treasures greeted us.

"Oh my god. Boss, we're rich! Are you sure we can take anything we want?"

"Yes, but only if I don't want it. Don't worry, I'm very picky."

"Nice!"

As they all started scouring through the rare treasures that Manami collected, I headed straight to her. Her throat was crushed, but her face looked peaceful...

The kill had been so clean that she didn't even wake up.

She had beautiful white hair, and her skin was pearly white. A beauty in every sense of the word.

Sighing, I unattached the watch from her wrist. Looking at it, it had a spherical crystal, clearly holding something inside of it. The watch glowed with a specific red color.

After some analysis, I carefully twisted the crown, and the crystal came off smoothly. Inside, an eyeball with a magnificent red pupil could be seen.

Making sure that no one saw it, I quickly sealed it inside a special scroll, preserving it.

Placing my hand on Manami's body, I flowed my chakra and tried to locate the second eyeball. To my surprise, it was implanted into her right eye.

Her hair had been covering it, so I hadn't noticed. It was a mystery how no one found out that she also had the Sharingan implanted.

Then again, she wasn't a ninja, so she probably never used it.

Carefully, I removed the eyeball from her eye-socket and sealed it with the other one. My job was finally done.

Suddenly, weird seals started spreading from Manami's eyeball to the rest of her body, making her shake violently.

Taking a step back, I watched silently as chakra started manifesting on top of her.

It took the shape of a person, and although I couldn't see their features, they had white, glowing eyes that seemed to stare into my soul.

Before I could say anything, it spoke in a chilling voice.

"I'll remember your face."

After saying that, it disappeared and Manami's body burned to ashes.

The whole thing had happened so fast that I was still in shock.

Suddenly, A's voice brought me back.

"Boss! There's something weird here!"

Calming myself down, I headed over to him. What was that? Remember my face? I was wearing a disguise though... I wonder if it saw through it...

"Here, look at this."

Smiling, A took out a big capsule from a nearby chest. Inside was an arm, floating inside of a viscous fluid.

Its color was completely white, so much so that it looked like it had no blood in it.

"That's!"

I couldn't believe my eyes. If I wasn't mistaken, this was an arm made of Hashirama cells... But how...?

"Do you know what this is, boss?"

Snapping back to reality, I quickly snatched it off A's hands and sealed it inside another scroll, sealing that scroll inside another one. A just looked at me weirdly.

"Are you ok... boss?"

"Yes. I'm done here. Let's go."

"..."

Still confused, A and the rest took everything they wanted. I had them give me some scrolls and sealed all of their belongings for comfort.

"boss, I didn't know that you were a sealing master! You have my respect..."

"I'm not a master. I just know a little."

Not wanting to dabble into that, I quickly flickered away, followed by the rest. We all went back to my property, not too far away from the village.

The whole way back, I couldn't help but be worried about that chakra figure. Even though I had gotten incredibly lucky, what if I lost my life as a result?

Because of this feeling, I was unable to sleep that night.
