New friends

Frankly I'm not sure how I feel talking with this Koga kid, I usually only talk with people thrice or four times my age so it's a little weird talking to someone a year older than me. I wonder if my mom would be happy I have a "friend"? Wait is he my friend when do people become friends? Dear moon I don't know. Should I ask him... As Ryu had all these thoughts Koga got to watch him turn from pale to deathly pale.

"Um Ryu are you okay? I don't think I've ever seen some turn that pale, and your Ki is all kinds of directions."

"Ki? what do you mean by that?"

"Well Ki is something that a Helsinki clan member can see circulating through the body of human or animals. Yours is purple. First I've seen that, but it seems to be conflicted."

"Um well I have a question and I'm not sure if it's something I ask or not."

"What is it?"

"Are we friends?"

...."After what just happened you had to ask? Of course we're friends dummy for someone who uses poison I'm kinda shocked Ryu."

"Well I've only been around adults, and this is the first time I've been around anyone my age. What do you mean by purple Ki." Ryu stated bluntly.

"Well Ki so far has only been 4 colors till just now. Blue Ki for humans with no awakening to the phonix. Red for the phonix. Green for all Munchkin and White for star people. Apparently it has to do with a combination of injuries, emotions, and states of death.
