They calmly passed through the roadblocks on the road without any problems since the checks for vehicles entering the city are a little looser compared to those leaving the city where police performed thorough checks on them, which is actually a little careless on the side of the authorities as they seem to have assumed that the kidnappers are hiding within the city.

Clearly, they had forgotten to factor the chance that they could be holing up deep in the mountains to evade their eyes.

Missing the chance of getting them under their radar as they moved through the city, which would have made their job a little easier than blindly looking for them.
