Invited to his house

Mulan walked out looking at the handsome man in front of her. She just looked at him without blinking or averting her eyes away, she even forgot that staring at a person is rude but she doesn't care.

Skye turn around feeling the burning gaze on his back. The moment he turned, his eyes and hers connected as they get lost in each others eyes. The look was intense as if they can see through each others soul from their eyes.

Skye was the first one to break the battle between them, he averted his gaze and turn his head to his right, avoiding her face. His ears turned crimson red as his heart pounded loudly in his chest.

She was the only woman that made him feel like this. Her gaze that always made his heart to palpitated and go crazy, her beautiful smile that light through his cold heart as she melt it into the heart of a human being and not the ice King of the North Pole, Her sweet scent of vanilla ice cream that always makes his brain to stop working unlike the putrid smell of strong perfume that some women usually used to attract men, smelling like they bathe in perfume burning his brain cells in the process.

Her beautiful yet fierce eyes that changes from one moment to another in a second. One moment she's cute and innocent like a cute kitten and the next she's fierce like a tiger with sharp claws.

He loves everything about her and he loves every part of her but he doesn't know how to react towards this foreign feelings he's feeling.

Does he love her?

Or does he only enjoy her company?

Maybe because he doesn't involve himself with women much, that's why he's feeling this way! But is he just lying to himself?

He didn't feel this weird feelings towards Luna and Renita so... What's wrong with him?

He doesn't know but he knows that it happens only when he's with Mulan. He was brought back to his senses when he heard the sound of light footsteps coming his way, he looks at the person and he saw Mulan walking towards him with her head down looking guilty while playing with her fingers.

She reminded him of milo and he had the urge to hug her but he suppressed himself. "I..I'm sorry for bothering you to save me again. I know I've caused a lot of problems for you but... Thank you for saving me each time!"

Skye wanted to say something but he paused, he was trying to find his voice after her sudden attack. Mulan became worried seeing him silently looking at her without saying anything.

Mulan heaved a deep sigh of relief, she didn't even realise she was holding her breath.

"Why are those people chasing you?!"

Mulan paused for a moment, she opened her peach blossom lips as she started talking " Well... A few months ago, I was invited to our school reunion party. Everyone came except for Michael, William and Jacob. I was talking to my friends when this girl, Rachel poured her glass of red wine on my white dress.

When I came here, I somehow became popular without even noticing. I took the spotlight away from her for being the most popular and beautiful girl in school.

I wasn't even interested in becoming popular. After that she became the enemy that I didn't care or bothered about, and that only make her more furious.

We were shouting at the top of our lungs in the reunion and out of anger... I said I would kill her and the next morning in her apartment, she was found dead.

I became the top list of suspects and almost all the clues found somehow were connected to me!

Kylie said she will help me and that's how you saved me. You found evidence to clear my name but I was still bothered by the police because the clues that were found couldn't

just be abcoincidence that they all lead to me.

This guy Lu Matteo, the young master and the only heir of the Lu family called me, he said that he found something that will solve this case, he found a footage of the day that the murder took place and the photos of the

murderer.

I went over there without thinking about it properly but It was all a trick to bring me here. At first I shrugged it off but then I went over, so he grabbed me, I kicked him and now his guards are looking for me, the end! "

Mulan was so focused on telling the story that she didn't notice something different in the atmosphere. Skye was literally burning in rage, he was furious. His beautiful eyes glowed as he released a powerful demonic aura.

That bastard dared to touch her!! He will pay!!

Mulan looks at him, feeling something was weird and the moment she did, she was scared silly. Skye's eyes looked like a ferocious beast, it was even glowing in a demonic hue.

When he saw her trembling like a scared kitten, his eyes turned normal in a second as if nothing happened.

"Do... Do you...um want to stay in my house.

He-he can dig up something about you and find out where you're staying at and he will track you down! But he won't dare to pester you if you're in my house!" Skye said all of this with his eyes averted, he was looking towards the living room as if it was the most interesting thing in the world.

Mulan subconsciously nod her head.

When she nod her head, Skye was strangely happy that she agreed. He was nervous when he asked her as if he was a teenager asking his crush out on a date. He saw Mulan's face turning crimson red so he innocently tilted his head and looked at her.

Is something wrong with her, why is she blushing?!

The guy was oblivious that Mulan's shameless mind was thinking about him shirtless.

Skye shrugged it off when he saw her face turning normal, he turned around and walked out of the room with Mulan following behind him.

He heard the guards from before talking softly as they head towards where they were. Skye held Mulan's hand and pulled her back. There was no time to hide since the room was the other way and if they move the guards will notice them so he did what his brain told him to, pretend to be a couple making out.

He thought about it a bit and it's a good idea. If the guard saw them kissing, they won't check them if Mulan was the girl but they will run away instead.

Thinking that this was a good idea without thinking of anything except for her safety, he pressed his soft and red lips against hers making the woman to widen her eyes in shock!
