Night Sky

I follow him up the stairs cautiously. We finally get up to the roof. He opens the door to the roof and holds it open for me. As I walk out onto the roof I notice how extravagant the night sky was.

"It's beautiful" I say as my mouth is wide open.

"Yes it is, but there are other things more beautiful"

I am in awe, as I look up at the sky I see a shooting star. "Wow look at that" I said.

"Quick make a wish"!

I quickly made a wish and looked over at him.

"I'm kind of glad that it was uncomfortable in there" I chuckle.

"Me to" he said with a big grin on his face.

"What?" I asked. "Oh nothing" he turned away from me. "So what else would you like to talk about"? He looks at me and thinks. "What kind of work do you do"? I panic and remember I didn't plan everything through fully. " ah uh.. I do research on humanity". I think to myself good job for thinking on the spot. "Oh? And how is that?" He asks. "It's really interesting and fun, we are constantly changing and that makes it even more interesting".

"You are right, people change constantly, but some people don't, you should show me some of your work sometime". "Alright" I replied. I look back at the sky and dazzle at its sight once more.
