New Friend

He looks over at me and speaks "so how about being my new friend? We have gone through a lot with each other so far it would make sense".

"Of course we can be friends" I give him a big smile. He laughs "alright, Should I take you back to your room"? "Yes please, my eyelids are getting heavier every minute" I giggle. He smiled and walked over to the door. He opens the door "ladies first". I walked thought the door and down the stairs with him closely behind me. When we get down to the first floor and walk out into the lobby there are people starring and whispering. I get uncomfortable again and shrink a little. He notices me doing so.

He speaks out loud "people sure do have starring problems". As soon as he says that the people stop starring and carry on with what they were doing.

We get to the elevator and get inside.

I sigh and finally I am not uncomfortable anymore.

"Why do people have a problem with me tonight" I think to myself.

He looks over at me "I'm sorry, I'm pretty sure I'm the one who's had you troubled all night".

"No your not the problem it's me they were starring at". "Yes but it's because you were with me, I am the first wealthiest man of this city".

I freeze and my eyes go wide.

"And I do happen to own this hotel" he says.

I stutter "wa...wa what"?!??!

He looks to me "seems like you really didn't know who I am at all".

"No I really didn't, that's crazy, I met the wealthiest man of New York City today".

I slump back against the elevator.

The door sings and we step out. We walk to my door. I turn around and smile at him.

"Thank you so much for today, if I hadn't seen you today outside the hotel I probably would have been kidnapped". He smiled back looking deep into my eyes. "Your welcome Riley, I hope to see you again".

I nod "ah here is your coat". I hand him back his coat. "Thank you, now get some rest".

"You to"! He smiled and waved me goodbye, walking down the hall to his room.

I open my door to my room and quickly jump onto my bed. "Man I'm exhausted" I think about what happened today. "Why do I have this weird feeling? Eh it's nothing". I quickly fall asleep.
