After Thea woke up around lunch time, the two of them got dressed and ready to leave the apartment for the day. She wore the same outfit as the day before, just without the vest jacket.
Caden wore a similar outfit to her, though he wore black cargo pants, red dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up, a black suit vest and a dark patchwork flat hat. It brought out his bright arctic blue eyes, thanks to the contrast of the shadow resting on his face.
When they were ready to go, they left out the front door of the apartment, as if they were to suddenly disappear, it would be strange for them to walk back in through the front door. The main idea of living a life like this, was to blend in and live life to the fullest.
With arms hooked and shoulders side by side, the two made their way down from the fourth floor and into the lobby below.
"Going somewhere today Mister Price?" It was a different person at the receptionist desk this time around. It was a young man dressed in business casual attire.
"Aye, we're going to go out to the outskirts and have a long walk. Is there something you need?" Caden almost immediately asked the man who shook his head.
"That should be what I should ask you... Would you like me to call up someone to give you a ride, Sir?" The man asked politely as he seemed to really work at the place.
His eyes wandered down to the man's dress shirt to see the nameplate. The name said Pete, which ironically was similar to Petra, the other person who worked here. However unlike Petra, this man named Pete was caucasian with a bald head and very sharp looking features. Their relation had to be very far apart, and unlikely they were actually related by blood.
"I'll be fine," He responded with a slight chuckle before shaking his head. Caden made his way out the front doors of the complex as the doors opened for them to leave.
Thea just walked alongside him, leaning against him while practically cuddling up to his arm. She seemed rather close today, unlike some days before, she didn't seem to hold onto him this tightly before.
"So where are we going?" Thea asked, as she was standing closest to the buildings, people weren't brushing shoulders with her. So her eyes remained on him, not really caring for those ahead of them.
Caden looked over at Thea and smiled, "A place where a body is buried," was the only thing he said.
She blinked several times when he had said this and was rather confused. Why were they going to a cemetery? Were they going to his parents graves again?
After calling a Taxi, it appeared they were going towards the general direction of an old crash site at the edge of Starling City from the year 2000. She had seen this in some old papers, though she had little interest in it at the time.
When they got out of the taxi after the fifteen minute trip, she followed him along the side of the road as he matched along the brush. "Where are you going?" She asked as she looked at the vibrant grass and nature which surrounded them. She ended up following him into the wooded area where he used his powers over the natural energies of the world to unearth the corpse of Harrison Wells.
Caden looked over at Thea as she gasped and covered her mouth in surprise. She looked at him and then at the body, then back at him. "I didn't kill him. He's been dead since nineteen ninety three."
Hearing his short and vague explanation, she raised a brow and looked at the featureless corpse. "Wait... But there was only one person who died that night," Thea as she blinked several times, then looked at the corpse again. "Who is that?"
"This is Harrison Wells, the real Harrison Wells." Caden informed her with a confident snicker of his own. No one had found it as it had been stored away and buried out of sight and out of mind. It definitely wasn't half mindedly disposed of.
Thea cringed slightly when he had said this was the real Harrison Wells. This meant that there was an imposter taking his credit and looked exactly like him. "And what are you going to do with Harrison's body? And who is the person who is Harrison right now?"
"Oh... That guy... He's Eobard Thawne, a metahuman connected to a extra-dimensional force known as the Negative Speed Force... He's essentially a time traveling menace." He gave Thea the short version as he didn't feel like going into the details right here, right now. He then looked to the body at his feet and leaned forward with his hands on his knees. "I'm going to revert him back to his living self and put him back into his rightful place."
"You're going to use necromancy?" Even though she wasn't versed in sorcerory, nor was she a homo-magi, she knew of the practice due to its popularity in video games and literature.
Caden nodded slightly as he looked over at her. "His fate wasn't supposed to be like this, but he is one person I can bring back. I expect I will be having to deny him his wife though," even though he was a dragon he understood love. He understood that Tess Morgan was the love of his life, but everyone already knew she had been dead. It was be strange for her to come back to life the way she did after so long.
"So we going to do some sort of ritual or something?" Thea asked as she looked up at him with a brow raised.
He simply shook his head slightly, he himself was powerful enough to invoke necromancy without the need to sacrifice other things due to the pure amount of magic energy he'd be using.
Pursing her lips, Thea's mind had gone back towards the cults in some popular fiction where there had been lustful rituals used to raise the dead. She personally wouldn't have minded this, but figured it was just fiction afterall.
She watched as he knelt down and held his hand over the corpse as if it was on fire. He rubbed his hands together as if he was keeping them warm. Thea could only find herself watching as he began to murmur with an overlapping voice. Her eyes continued to widen as dust and dirt began to be picked up from the ground around them, swirling in circles.
The wind gave a strange hum, it was almost like a howling. The eeriness didn't come to a stop, instead it just got stranger and stranger.
Thea though felt more excited than anything else. A wide smile forming over her lips as she began to see colorful particles mixing in with the circular gusts of wind. "Woah..." She began to walk in circles a bit, her arms out from her sides.
Her excitement was cut short as she her a flop upon the ground. She immediately turned to see a man laying down in the grass. It was Harrison Wells in the flesh, alive and breathing.
Harrison's eyes burst open as he gasped for air, his body was stiff, but he forced himself to move. Crawling up to his knees, he would cough, holding his chest with one hand. His mouth was exceptionally dry and as was his throat. He felt like he had been eating dirt and worms, and almost immediately puked up acid from his empty stomach.
Now on all fours, he looked up at the two teenagers who were now standing over him. Well, one of them was standing over him with a surprised look on her face. The other was a young man who was kneeling down beside him patting his back as if helping him let it out.
"Where's Tess... Where's my wife? Is she alive? We crashed... And... Gah!" Harrison grabbed his head as he was assaulted by the flashbacks. He remembered she was dead, he remembered a man in a yellow suit. He duck his forehead into the ground shallowly as he fell forward on his knees.
With a shaky breath, he raised his head as he felt Thea's small hands envelope his and help him back up then dust the dirt off his face.
He looked up at her, seemingly thankful for her help, but then looked at the boy with the strange eyes. "Who are you...?" Harrison's eyes looked as if they had lost the light they had in them. They appeared dull and receiving.
"My name is Caden Price, you may have known my parents. They owned the Moonstone Spire." Caden responded with a sympathetic tone as he dusted off the man's clothes which had been restored along with him.
"Yes... Me and my wife stayed there for a short while," he responded with a slow nod as his mind went back to Tess. He closed his eyes slightly before opening them again and taking in the environment. It was a shellshock, the city in the distance looked a bit different. The roads, the trees and even the bushes. He could tell that it had been over a decade as everything was changed.
"What year is it?" His eyes immediately shot over to Caden again with an urgent expression on his face.
"The year is 2010, you've been replaced by an imposter for ten years. The same imposter who killed your wife," Caden informed the naive scientist of what had become of the world around him. "And he stole S.T.A.R. labs from you."
"The man in the yellow suit...?" Harrison's upper lip twitched angrily hearing this, placing a hand on his shoulder. He was a good natured man, he hated the fact that his lover was now dead. He hated the fact that someone stole his ultimate dream, the project he wanted to share with his wife.
Caden and Thea helped Harrison to his feet and over to a fallen log for him to sit. "Would you like to get your legacy back?" He asked the man who seemed broken by the passing events.
"Who is he?" Harrison asked, he wanted to know who the man was that killed his wife and himself, only to take his legacy from him and warp it into something different.
"He is a Speedster and a Time Traveler, he speed up the construction of the Particle Accelerator... It'll be completed in 2013 at this rate." Caden said with a soft sigh and tilted his head to the side slightly.
"A project that should have taken two decades..." Harrison was impressed, but he was also angry. Not only had they created the machine faster than he ever could, but they also stole everything meaningful from him.
Thea sighed quietly hearing Caden talk, crossing her arms. "How exactly are you going to remove the man though?" She was referring to Thawne as the man, was he going to kill him?
Harrison looked over at Caden, wanting an answer.
"I'm going to make him confess to killing Barry Allen's Mother, framing his father, and killing Tess Morgan after restoring his previous face and stripping him of what is left of his speed." Caden informed with a grin across his lips, he then looked to Harrison with a light nod. "Then you can kill him."
Harrison blinked a few times when he was told that he could kill him. "I... I see." He didn't really want to kill anyone. Even if they did kill him at one point, he just wanted his wife back. "And then I take back my place as the director of STAR Labs?"
Caden nodded to the guy once again, keeping the grin across his lips.
Thea felt as if she was pushing off the killing onto Harrison, rather than himself. Though in both instances, the killing would likely affect Harrison more. Prison couldn't be trusted to hold a man with superpowers, that was the truth.
"Take my hands," Caden said to the two of them. Thea almost immediately taking his hand with her left, while Harrison raised a brow and took his right. Suddenly as the world around them shifted and tendrils of wind swirled about them, they disappeared into thin air followed by a noise akin to pop rocks.
