Running out of luck

Du Ai Sha decided to walk away, she don't think she can put on a brave front with Ji Yu acting so protective and loving towards Ru Ran.

Ji Yu pulled Ru Ran into the washroom and left Chan Pei Sia looking bewildered. Those who were in the washroom, quickly left the washroom, as much as they wanted to get further glimpse of Ji Yu, they were afraid of the man as his gentle looks and behaviour seems to only reserve for one person, which is Ru Ran. Ji Yu then locked the door from the inside.

He then checked the washroom thoroughly for any recording devices or anything out of the ordinary. Once he is done, he then instructed her, "Quick, remove your wet clothing or you will catch a cold."

He helped her out of her dress, and then draped her princess coat over her, helped her button up and even tied a ribbon with the coat belt at the side. The princess coat appeared like a dress once buttoned up because it came with a full skirt.

"I can't wait to get home to unbotton everything and have you in my arms," he whispered.

She blushed and then she whispered back, "Is it okay to do that many times?"

"We are newly wed, so it's normal to have it at least once or twice a day, and then according to research two to four times a week for our age group," he said in all seriousness.

She then nodded her head shyly, putting her full trust in him.

"If at any point is causes you any discomfort, you need to tell me, we might have gone overboard with our number," he continued to explained.

Looking at her blushing image, made him want to eat her whole now instead he controlled his urges and gave her a fierce kiss instead. That made her lips a little swollen from the kiss.

The waiting Chan Pei Sia was long forgotten, and they took their own sweet time to exit the washroom making Chan Pei Sia a little impatient. She had setup some recording devices in the changing room and planned to find a scapegoat once the video is released on the net. That would destroy Ru Ran's reputation. She may be regarded as a victim but most importantly, she wanted to see how Shen Ji Yu would react if Ru Ran's naked or less clothed body were to be exposed to the public. Surely he would feel disgusted, she thought to herself.

If she could get Ji Yu away from Ru Ran, she was hoping to send in some drunkard to take advantage of Ru Ran. Feeling anxious and excited at the same time, she rushed the couple that had been inside for nearly 10 minutes by knocking the door. Only silence were followed by the knock. Chan Pei Sia gritted her teeth. She had to place a under maintenance signage outside the female washroom and had to redirect the female guests to another restroom in the premise.

If it wasn't because she had wanted to execute her plans, she would not have waited so patiently. Finally the two emerged, with Ru Ran looking stunning in her new attire with a deep blush on her face and slight swollen lips. An idiot would have guessed instantly exactly what had happened in there. Her blood begun to boil, here she was waiting like a donkey and these two were having a good time inside plus her plans could not be put in motion because Ru Ran had already change her attire.

She kept her irritation in check and smiled at them, sweeping aside her displeasure and annoyance.

"Sorry to kept you waiting Aunty, Ji Yu convinced me to changed inside the washroom instead because he was afraid I might catch a cold being draped too long in a wet dress," explained Ru Ran.

Chan Pei Sia sneered in her heart thinking, "As if I don't know what you two were doing in the bathroom, even your hair is a little messy from your makeout session, can you have more dignity?" instead she said, "Of course. Of course. Aunty was worried something happened to the two of you inside that was why aunty decided to knock the door and hurry you two, it seems aunty was overreacting while you two had things figured out."

"Aunty, thanks for your concern but be at ease because it is my utmost honor and my duty as her husband to place Ru Ran's wellbeing and interest above everything else. Please do not worry about Ru Ran for as long as I'm alive," said Ji Yu smiling as bright as the shining moon.

He then combed Ru Ran's messy hair by running his fingers through them. Chan Pei Sia could hear him say to Ru Ran," Now you look perfect!"

Chan Pei Sia did not know how to reply to his earlier words and now having to witness such blatant display, she felt envious of Ru Ran being treated with such care by a great man. Such a pity, this man took interest in Ru Ran instead of Ai Sha. Looks like she needs to formulate a new plan.

"Aunty. Aunty!"

Ru Ran's call snapped her out of her thoughts.

"Sorry, aunty was just thinking, it is a blessing you found such great man to love you, as a mother, aunty also hope that Ai Sha finds similar happiness," said Chan Pei Sia.

"The man with her tonight appears like he would go to outer space to pluck the stars for Ai Sha if she were to wish for a star," said Ru Ran.

"You mean Young Master Han?" asked Chan Pei Sia for confirmation.

"Who? I am sorry aunty, I didn't get his name, I forgot to get his name earlier. I might need Aunty's help to introduce me around to get acquainted with the business circle since I newly acquired a business," explained Ru Ran apologeticly.

Before Chan Pei Sia could reply, Ji Yu chided in," My dear, as I have said before, you don't need to know anyone else, all you need to know is your husband, and you should hug this golden thigh and never let go, I won't let you suffer one bit."

Despite his tone was a little playful but on the last note, it turned icy as if to warn Chan Pei Sia he will not tolerate anything that would cause Ru Ran to suffer. Chan Pei Sia's felt goosebumps all over and the hair on her forearms erected with chills running down her spine. It made her shudder for a moment.

Ru Ran on the other hand, tip toed to give Ji Yu a peck on the cheek, infuriating Chan Pei Sia again and again.

They entered the banquet Hall only to see another commotion taking place. A lady from one of the noble family, accidentally spilled her drink on herself and had gone to the changing room to change and to her horror she found a recording device, camouflage between the flowers in the vase on the dressing table. It was by accident she knocked into the vase, as she was about to call for someone to have the sharps removed, she saw a suspicious tiny black object, she has thought it was a rare insect species. Being an avid insect collector, a well known fact among the circle, she was very excited and immediately picked it up only to find it is not an insect but a recording device instead. It was unfortunate for the schemer because her family owns the country's technology development hence, it wasn't a surprise when she could identify the object as a recording device. If it was others, they may have not guessed that the tiny device correctly.

Chan Pei Sia could only feel like a storm is heading her way. Oh, such luck had to befall her. Suddenly her eyes widened, could it be the star of misfortunes is back that is why her luck has run out.
