Spirit Master

Darren who was waiting for the inevitable was puzzled that the warehouse did not explode and soon two hugging figures could be seen walking out of the factory unscathed.

He rushed to them and apologised for making a decision to leave and was thankful that they were alright.

Uncle Tek patted his shoulder to reassure Darren that it is alright plus it was him that instructed Darren and the rest to leave. It was not right to implicate the rest.

They rushed to the hospital first instead of going home first. Mei Xin wanted to see Ru Ran as she just gotten news that Ru Ran had awaken. Darren reminded Mei Xin that Ru Ran did not know that Mei Xin had been abducted. She just nodded as a sign she understood.

Ji Yu was glad to see Mei Xin alive and unhurt. He gave her a genuine hug as a gesture he is glad that she is alright. Ru Ran was suspicious because she had never seen Ji Yu hugged anyone else except for her and his mother. She deduced something must have happened. She decided to keep silent instead.

Mei Xin hugged Ru Ran and glad that she has woken up but was sad that she was in this state.

Ji Yu received a phone call and he quickly walked out of the room to answer it.

"Hello, cousin"

"Thanks for letting Xin Xin go, Darren told me, you had a chance to blow the them up but you didn't," said Ji Yu.

"She is my sister after all. I know what is going on with cousin in law, there is a person, who can help her, however, he is a spirit master, not the modern doctor, so it depends if you are willing to contact him or not. From the likes of it, cousin in law symptoms does not tally with her scans..

"Have you had a change of heart? Any reason why you are helping us?" Ji Yu cut Ken's words off.

"I want to save a life for a life, give Ai Sha to me and I will send the spirit master to you. Ai Sha, me and you are all victims to adults scheming that we did not really lead a good life. Having said that, you are the luckiest, having to grow up with parents that truly love you. I was lucky because I found a mentor but the unluckiest of us all is her. Let me set her straight," said Ken.

Ji Yu kept silent for awhile.

"Alright, but can you send me the details of the spirit master first?" Ji Yu said finally.

"Hahaha.. Still having you guard up? I don't fault you, I myself not sure what came over me? Guess seeing how two people were willing to sacrifice their life for one another gave me hope that this world is not such a bad place to be. Maybe I am possessed? But I did promise that woman, as long as she stand on the same side as me, I won't hurt her. I can't help seeing her pleading eyes and how the light in her eyes dimmed when I walked away with Mei Xin. Alright, will send you the details. Let me know when you plan on releasing her. Treat her better for me ya?" rambled Ken while downing a can of beer.

"Cousin, I did not know you have a heart," teased Ji Yu with a smile on his face.

"Shut up! Sending you the details. Bye. By the way, keep this conversation a secret. I have a reputation to protect!" said Ken in a stern voice.

After the call ended, Ken let out a smile too. His assistant wanted to dig his eyes out because he could not believe that his boss's smile actually reached his eyes. He never saw his boss smiled this way before. His usual smile is a sinister smile.

Seeing the change in his boss's attitude made him relax a little. In his heart, he disagreed with his boss method of dealing with Miss Mei Xin but he is after all a powerless subordinate.

Ru Ran was blushing when Ji Yu entered. Uncle Tek was guarding the door.

After awhile, they took their leave leaving the married couple alone.

"Darling, why were you blushing when I came in?" asked Ji Yu.

Ru Ran blushed again, how could she tell Ji Yu that Xin Xin planned to lose her virginity tonight.

"Yu, what happened to Xin Xin?" she changed the subject.

Ji Yu immediately told her the truth about Mei Xin's abduction and Ken's change of heart. Ru Ran pupils constricted thinking about how she almost lost Xin Xin and Uncle Tek. No wonder that bold girl wanted to lose her virginity tonight.
