Annihilation

At 3 am, those who knew Ji Yu and Ru Ran rushed to the hospital. They all received news that Ru Ran bled a lot and currently in intensive care unit. The doctors are at hard work trying to save her life as well as the baby.

On the other hand, Ah Li was smiling from ear to ear. "Hahaha! Finally! If she did not bleed in another few days, I would have get someone to cut off your head for lying to me," said Ah Li in a hearty way.

His right hand man laughed along as well but internally he was silently thanking his lucky star. He had been asking the nurse when the drug was going to take effect. She had said, once Ru Ran reached three months of pregnancy and if the two were to have sexual intercourse, then the bleeding would come about. Who knew it would be exactly three months of pregnancy on the dot, it seems like couple could not hold it in.

His right hand man sweat thinking how vicious his boss is. It appears the nurse usefulness has comes to an end.

Meanwhile in the hospital, the atmosphere was gloomy. Ji Yu looks the worst out of all. It happened out of sudden, after their love making session, they were both exhausted and ended up asleep, he was first to wake up as he was thirsty. When he woke up, a strong smell of blood assaulted his nostrils and he realised she was pale as a sheet and they were both covered by blood. He then realised she was bleeding profusely. He rushed her to the hospital like a mad man.

He was told, they might need to remove her womb with their baby as the last resort to save her life. He didn't care, he just wish for her to survive. Baby? Important but not as important as her life. Everybody was solemn and no one was speaking. Every head just hung low, as if chanting a prayer, hoping for a miracle.

They didn't realise a person was secretly recording them from afar.

"Hello, she bled, I overheard they are preparing her for an emergency hysterectomy, to remove her uterus. If she make it, she herself would wish to die. She would be an incomplete woman!"

"No such thing as if she survives, boss wants her dead. By hook or by crook, you need to only update me regarding her death if not, it will be your death then mine!"

The nurse trembled in fear hearing the threat. She knew this was the price she had to pay when she agreed to inject Ru Ran that day with the experimental drug.

"I'll do it! Just wait for my good news, I want to increase my reward, I have risked my life and career in order to ensure this mission a success," she replied.

"You complete your task first, then we will meet up, I will definitely reward you handsomely," he said. In his mind, was him meeting up with her, silencing her and taking away the prize money.

She ended the call abruptly as she heard someone approaching.

"Did you tell him clearly?" asked a cold voice.

"I did! Please let my family go, I have already fulfilled my end," she begged the man.

"We did not manage to trace the call just now, for now, you have to stay put and meet up with him, once we have him in our hands, we will let you go, mind you, when he comes to meet you, it'd be to end your life! However, after that weird night when she bumped into a celestial being, her nights were no longer peaceful, often her sleeps were disturbed by unpleasant memories.
